They have beauty supplies that you wont find at any other stores. Ive only been there once, so cant really tell anything about their customer service. So far everyone seemed nice.

This store provides the worst CUSTOMER Service. I purchased 2 bottles os ST. Trope self tanning lotion.I used the first bottle in 2 months. When I opened the 2nd bottle the cap would not stay shut. Therefore I had self tanning lotion leaking all over. The color of course dark brown and very staining.I went to the Laguna Niguel store where I purchased the item. I was told by Devon their very rude, unprofessional, sarcastic manger she could not exchange it because it was past the 30 days. Since I was a rep for a large beauty company I knew they could exchange it. I asked her to call her corporate office. She refused and said she would email me and call me with the answer.30 days pass and I never heard from Devon. I went back to the store and she immediately gave me a dirty look and said Corpoate said “ NO”. I told her I called St. Tropez and they asked me to go back to the store and they would take back the item. Devon still said I can’t do that you need to send it to St. Tropez yourself.Really Devon I’m the customer and I need to work directly with the Vendor. I was the rep for Paul Mitchell, It’s a 10, Kendra and more. I picked up bottles that were over a year old.This store has always been unfriendly and a bit stuck up.Well here’s the solution ULTA is moving 2 miles away in the Hobby Lobby shopping center. Here’s the real kicker. I told the manager about my experience at PB and she said bring me the bottle...I will trade it out and send back to St. Tropez. WOW now that’s CUSTOMER SERVICE.....ULTA you Rock !!!PB management if your smart you will get rid of DEVON she is not management material.Go work in a cubicle somewhere. You’ve lost a 15 year loyal client and my friends.
I have been buying my beauty products from Planet Beauty for as long as I can remember. The Laguna Niguel location has gone thru some personnel changes, which is not uncommon, but the employees that are running this store have started to refuse to honor their return policy. You arent getting your money back, which doesnt bother me at all, I am totally fine with a store credit if I notice something is not working out for me, but lately the girls here are flat out refusing their products back, saying that they are final sale when I show them my receipt and show them my receipt allows for the return. The first time they tried pulling this, I told them they had no merit doing that and after insisting in my second visit, she took it back reluctantly and gave me store credit for the item. Sometime later I had purchased something new and noticed it wasnt working on me and took it back within the time frame allowed and she tried the same tactic on me! I was blown away. I immediately called a different local Planet Beauty who said she should not be refusing returns and agreed to do it for me. OKAY LAGUNA NIGUEL, YOU HAVE ISSUES. Sales may be affected by returns but thats part of doing business!!!! GOING TO IRVINE SPECTRUM OR DANA POINT IS A BETTER IDEA UNTIL THEY CHANGE THEIR BAD BUSINESS PRACTICS!!!!
