It has been years since Ive had the means to get an eye exam-- and, after living in a small town where everybody knew the local eye doctor, I was anxious about finding a new provider once we moved to Lakewood!But the steps to getting an exam were very straight-forward, and the staff was very friendly, too! I recommend supporting this local practice.

The woman who checked my eyes, Stacy, was so sweet and personable, which is an amazing change of pace compared to the exasperated and annoyed reception most medical professionals hand out. And, Lance, the gentleman who helped me pick out my glasses, real stand up dude. Very kind and friendly. I came here just cause they were the first people I called who accept Medicaid, but Im really happy I stumbled in here.

I stopped in here to see if I could get a spare contact as I was traveling out of town. They were super nice and helpful. Definitely would go here if I lived in the area!

So the office staff was ok with my mom she had Cadirrac surgery and Dr Campbell who did the surgery botched up her right not once but twice and now she may lose her eye she is in her mid 70’s and struggles every day now to do daily tasks due to this man who calls himself a surgeon. I’m waiting on the day to meet this man face to face so I can let him know how he destroyed my mother’s vision the rest of her life. I am currently looking to hire representation to see he loses his practice since he never reached out to her to correct her vision. See u real soon Doc!!!

After seeing my regular optometrist, who was not able to figure out why I was experiencing light sensitivity, I came here for a second opinion. The administrative team was very helpful with insurance information and upfront about costs. The doctor was very intelligent, and was able to diagnose the issue and even got me started on an eye drop. I will be using Lakewood Eye Center from here on out!

I took my son to get his eyes checked and from the moment of check in working with the nurse and the consultation with the doctor was an absolutely amazing experience! They are friendly knowledgeable and worked so well with my kiddo. I couldnt have asked for a better visit! We will use this office moving forward!

I was visiting from out of town and had a pretty bad issue with my eyes. They were able to work me in the very next morning after I called and when I saw Dr Finch he was amazing. He knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it and he was very friendly and caring.

This facility is okay with there staff walking around without masks on! When I asked the receptionist they were extremely rude and called me a liberal. We are all trying to get through this and a medical facility should be setting an example.

Everyone was great. Christy really helped me out by billing me because my glasses had gotten lost in the hospital, and I couldnt see really at all. They fit me for a trial pair of contacts that really helped out. And the assistant was very knowledgeable and friendly.

I have had the pleasure of being under the eye care of Lakewood Eye Center. Dr. Finch is a very qualified and trusted eye physician. He fully and truly understands the eye care for diabetic patients. After each visit, Dr. Finch communicates with my primary physician and endocrinologist. He asks how I am doing with diabetic control and is supportive and positive when things are going well. The environment of the office is family like. All the staff genuinely care for you. I highly recommend Lakewood Eye Center.

I am not going to complain about the overly long time it took to get through the appointment. I wont even complain about one of the doctors telling me I was wrong about what I saw during the exam. I will however complain about how I was treated after. I asked for the pd so I could order glasses online to save money. I was told anyone who does that is crazy. I mentioned I would happily order glasses from the clinic if it was cheaper. Im a working mom and have to budget. The doctor said nothing, gave my script to the front desk lady, and walked away. As I could not see from eye dilation drops I didnt know the dr had not written the pd on the script until I got home. When I called to ask the office for the pd, they said they didnt give the pd out unless the office did the fitting for new glasses. The receptionist pretty much said to deal with it. I cant order online and cant afford in office. Which means I cant get new glasses. The weird part is they gave my son the pd on his prescription last month.

I am a 20+ year patient of Lakewood Eye Center and have been seen by both Dr. Campbell and Dr. Finch. The eye care I receive from them has been excellent! The office staff and optical department staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I have bought my eyeglasses from the Center for many years, always buying super stylish frames with lenses that I can actually see out of! And my eyeglass adjustments are always perfect. I wont be returning or recommending this doctors office after dealing with the front desk. Dawn took time to finish her text before even acknowledging me and then proceeded to tell me I dont know when I had a pricing question. How am I suppose to schedule an appointment if even she doesnt know how much it will cost? Im sure the doctor is fine, but if its this much trouble to get through the front desk and acquire about pricing after insurance I will find another eye doctor.

I brought my Kaiser prescription in, and Matt was enthusiastic and really helpful in selecting frames and lenses. He offered the full range of prices, and with his knowledge and suggestions we quickly built my order for a set of progressive lenses and a second pair for computer work. Reasonable wait times for delivery. Over-all, I am very pleased with the service and quality of glasses.

I took my daughter to Lakewood Eye Center on the recommendation of Stride. The eye exam took over 2-1/2 hours (I have never had an exam take more than 45 min.).Their prices for glasses are not particularly competitive and the selection is quite limited.The last straw was the slam-bam-thank-you-mam glass fitting by Matt. When we got back after the fitting, I noticed that neither nose bumper was even touching her nose and they were out of whack to boot.I will only be returning to get the nose bumpers fitted properly, then we are done with Lakewood Eye Center!

My Eye exam today was great! From the welcome from the front desk, to Matt doing a small fix on my Glasses and bring them back to me Spotless in mins! Craig the Exam Tech was great, very patient with me (couldnt keep my eye open), Dr. Finch also amazing, not just a few mins with you, He spends time with you. The Exam was Great! I recommend this place!

As a 39 year old young cataract patient I am so pleased with my Cataract surgery that I couldn’t help but share my experience! I had my left eye done in 2015 elsewhere and I had such a horrible experience that I’ve waited to get my right eye completed until now. Early this month I seen another Ophthalmologist and scheduled surgery with him but something in me didn’t feel right so I searched online to get a 2nd opinion and came across Lakewood Eye Center. The staff was super friendly and got me in immediately. I was in a rushed process as my insurance ends in June and starts over in July so the fact that I had met my High deductible it was important for me to get this completed ASAP with the right Dr.Dr. Finch took about 3 hours talking with me on the initial visit and went through my concerns, previous medical records, and questions and conducted multiple tests to help me make the decision and ensured my measurements were accurate and that I felt good.Then I met with Dr. Campbell and he painted a very clear realistic picture with me and what I can mentally plan for, I loved that he didn’t sugar coat things and was honest with me, I did Mono-vision on 6/17 and it is now 6/20 and I am feeling great, yes a little sensitive to light and some flickering but that is normal.I am sharing this because they took the lemons that I was given and they made lemonade I am blessed because of their diligence and care for me as a patient, I highly recommend them as a team!

Had something in my eye two e.r visits could not find it . dr.finch fpund it in five min.

Was very pleased with this Eye Center on my first visit. Went in for eye pain that turned out to be an ulcer on my eye, received eye drops at no cost to calm it down and then was asked to come in for a follow up a few days later. (Something that really wasn’t necessary since my eye got better). But had a 5 minute (if even) exam with the doctor and was charged another $60 for this “follow-up” when I had already been charged $60 for my first appointment. Very disappointed to say the least. I had asked before-hand if it would cost, and they said “it depends what the doctor does” and I stated my concern with not wanting to do the appointment if it was going to cost again. They insisted to wait and see what the doctor did so I stayed. I have never in my life (20 years of wearing contacts and glasses) been charged for a follow-up that they suggested.
