I had my first experience with a pawn shop at Heartland Pawnbrokers in Lawrence. Jordan, the manager, showed me that he genuinely values and respects other people’s belongings and it was a great experience. Needless to say, I highly recommend them if you are wanting an outstanding experience.

Found a Zoom G3X Multi-effects pedal with Zoom power supply, (a very hard-to-find item in the US), via Buya.com and contacted Heartland Pawn Shop in Lawrence, Kansas by phone who had listed it only days earlier. We swiftly negotiated a lower selling price and they sold it to me as I had hoped for. They shipped to NC that very same day and pedal arrived quickly. It was packed with care and the rare unit functions perfectly. I am very pleased with my dealings with these guys. Recommended.

Ive been coming to this pawnshop for 4 years. My first 2 years I would go to the Olathe location until I moved to Lawrence. Needless to say the customer service is excellent and because Ive been going to them for 4 years when I need to get a loan on my stuff I always get top dollar. I hate pawning my stuff just like anyone else but fortunately I wasnt fed with a silver spoon I rely solely on myself and this pawnshop helps me when I need it! Im more of a buyer now they have great deals on power tools but still when ever Im in a pinch this is my pawn shop.

Jordan was so incredibly helpful with helping me find the perfect laptop! He’s kind and very down to earth. If you ever need a place to go, this is definitely it!

Youll get offered a fair amount on your stuff...given that its something worth while. Not like a VCR. Not even a VCR/DVD combo player. Sorry 1993, but theyll likely pass on your super awesome electronics. But in all seriousness folks, this pawnshop is the best place for you to get excellent service, fair dollar amounts, and you can buy good quality stuff at reasonable prices. So go to there. These guys are amazing! My laptop was stolen and brought into the store and they got a hold of it, contacted me and got it back to me. I can’t be more thankful for them.

Done business with a lot of pawn shops over the years.the staff at sunflower was top notch,respectful and courteous . To me this is rare behaviour in a pawn shop..they went the extra mile to make sure i was satisfied..and never for one second did they act condescending towards me ( I feel this is also rare in a pawn shop). I made a trade with them with almost no cash involved,they still rolled out a red carpet for me..i want them to know,i really appreciate them on this deal..people go to pawn shops (usually because moneys tight) to try to get something worked out.it was very gratifying to be treated like a million bucks.my wife baked them strawberry cupcakes (her specialty),we wish we could have done more....hope you enjoyed them fellas,and thanks again.

I bought a TV here. It works great, had the remote and the people are kind and cordial.

Ive dealt exclusively with another shop in town over the years and tried Heartland on a whim last week. It was the first time I felt that the pawnbroker was an advocate for my item and its value. Blaine made me very comfortable and captured my confidence and trust right away. As a sign of how good it is, the customer who came in after me only wanted to work with Blaine. Went in with my boyfriend to pawn a barely used 3D Printer. Guy said he goes by eBay pricing... Considering that it is the most current Wanhao 3D printer on the market, eBay pricing lists it between $539 to $800, which I was on my eBay app looking up the prices. They wanted $75 for it. This place is a joke for a college town and a booming tech world. No wonder their inventory is lame

We were from out of state and called Heartland pawn after our Son passed away. They came right out and gave a quick estimate later that day. I told them that they had to remove every thing even things they didnt want because we were from out of state. They took care of business and had every thing removed. I thank them for there Honesty and integrity.They even called Bob Farmer who hauled away all the scrap metal. Since Jeff, doesnt run or own not sure what happened, but the employees all acted stuck up and telling me my stuff was or could possibly be stolen. BTW it wasnt so I got a bad deal on it because of that. There are better pawn shops in the Lawrence area!

Clean yes. Nice staff. But have got boxes of tools behind the counter and everywhere. Lots of outdated DeWalts nobody in construction would buy or use. In a collage town where electronics would sell better. They werent even interested in buying a two month old Alexa show at 1/4 the price of them on sale.

Super nice employees. Agree its the nicest pawn shop and group of employees in Lawrence. Buying a old school piece of audio equipment and in no way, shape or form tried to push a sell on me. I will be buying more in the future for sure.

This is a very good pawn shop very clean very organized the customer service is very good theyre willing to work with you on some things they have a lot of video games and as well as car audio and jewelry they also have computers and other sorts of things the owner is very nice overall is the very good pawn shop.

Went and Pawned my 55 inch tv and went to pick up a broken Tv. And Manager wouldn’t replace tv. Horrible service

I hate how cheap pawn shops are here in lawrence, everything I take to them to sell are easily worth more but Im always given a few bucks for brand new items, I would do buisness with this place but its too hard on my pocket

Very irresponsible staff, broke my tv then wont replace it or refund my money.

I was very disappointed in this place.

I called while I was on empty ( stranded ) was told to bring in new item for pawn and being pregnant and with child could not use restroom, make a deal, or get assistance with heavy duty lifting.

Tools are ridiculously high priced!
