The staff here is like a revolving door. They do not appreciate their customers and customer service is awful. They are not only very rude, but they do not respect social distancing. You could go here for the sake of convenience, but enter at your own risk. If they were actually held accountable, I think their attitude would change how they treat people and there product selection is decent, but you could find better at other stores. Their prices are relatively high in comparison to other locations as well because they are taking advantage of their location.

I work next door to them and I love coming here often to buy my lipglosses, lashes, and nail polishes.

Lots of items, just waaaaay overpriced. Like almost trying to take advantage kind of prices. Went in for pre looped box braids. 5 aisles of braid hair and not one pack. Plenty of locs and twists tho if thats what you need.

The workers are rude and nasty to customers,always behind counter eating and get a attitude if you interrupt,its a shame because they have GREAT products,they did also gauge their prices during the pandemic on gloves and mask,I easily spend 60 to 100 dollars every 3 weeks when I get my nails done next door but this black girl will be going where they appreciate and are not rude

There is a lot of merchandise in this store and it takes time to find the things you need especially if you like to read labels. I noticed an older Asian gentleman in a blue coat following me and my 6 yr old from aisle to aisle. This man never asked me if I needed help. He just peeked and followed. I had to keep asking other people questions to find things because I dont shop there often and it was packed with merchandise. I finally found all of the things I needed and went to the counter to check out. The ladies behind the counter were cordial but the Asian man that followed me was creepy. Actually, I assumed that this person worked there but he could have been an actual stalker. Next time I am in any store and this happens I will ask if the person is an employee and if so why are they allowed to follow people throughout the store.

I felt so uncomfortable in there they literally follow you everywhere. You look up there is somebody watching you. We are your customers show some respect. People watch on your security camera for stealing don’t follow those who actually support your business around. So unprofessional.

Ive been coming here for years. I really like this place. Customer service is always good. Selection is great. There was only one time i felt a little uncomfortable by a new employee but we squared that a way and there has been no issues since. This my spot!

Where to start, I have never received such a poor customer service in my life. The lady at the wig was extremely rude. She has a prejudice that all black people are there to steal. I would advise anyone to take their money else where for lower and better quality of service. Beauty mart is literally one street down. Don’t go here EVER!!

Very inexpensive

They had exactly what I needed and an unexpected find too. I love African print skirts and they had one with the most vibrant print I had ever seen, so I treated myself! The Asian female employee/ possible owner was extremely helpful and attentive, they have earned a loyal customer in me.

Horrible customer service no matter what time of day! Sometimes maybe once every blue moon you can find a nice employee but for the most part RUDE. I only shop here cause she is the only one open late in the area but I try to avoid here at all cost.

Poor service but then again I can’t say I’ve ever been to a beauty supply store that had excellent service. Their return policy sucks so make sure you have the right product before you leave. I get what I need and get out. I just wish Sally’s had everything that these guys have to put them out of business I don’t even think they care about reviews.

I REALLY LIKE THIS BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE, ALTHOUGH IT IS SMALL, THEY HAVE A VERY GOOD VARIETY OF PRODUCTS AND THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE ARE VERY FRIENDLY.

If you are a person of color they will speak to you very disrespectful especially if you are a younger adult or teen. I have witnessed this several times and the few times my teens went to purchase something they were very nasty. I will never support them yet you sell primarily to people of color

Came in looking for a particular brand of crochet hair... they didnt have it. In fact they only had 2 brands epic and freetress.. hopefully they get more in. I love coming here for everything else though

I a law abiding African American male was met at the door and denied entrance to this particular establishment for not having proper hand and mouth covering, while almost a dozen non-minority shoppers freely entered and exited with neither mask or gloves and when I asked why, I the only African American shopper was being redirected, an employee threatened to call law enforcement on me.

If I could give Zero stars i would...... Company it self is sad I purchased 7 bags of hair explaining I only used 2 and do not live in the area as they only offered store credit. $90 in all on hair and they would not give me a cent of a refund even when I asked if they could just charge me restock fee and give me my difference. MONEY HUNGRY!!!!!!!

I love coming here! I wish there were more color selections for the pre-braided crochet hair and pre-twisted crochet hair. Not just 1B, 1, 2, & 4.

Usually I have lots of positive things to say about Top Beauty because their prices are lower and quality is high. This time I have to say I could not find a couple of items that I had come to depend on being there. The fishtailed shaped dangling brush and Hask macadamia oil in the little brown vials. No longer at the Riverside Dr. Location. Ill check out the Lawrenceville location tomorrow.😉

This place rips people off, they will charge you twice for the same items, when you confront them about it they will lie and say they didnt. I had to call my bank numerous times to prove to them they charged me twice and had to go off on them before they refunded me for everything. Theyre over priced everything in that store. I will not be going there anymore. Im sticking to Angies beauty supply in Roswell

I had a bad experience with this store, they are so rude once they get their money. I went there to exchange a hair I bough from them. The lady told me if I cant read English I was so shock as a foreigner myself I didnt not think that will come from her. They left me standing at the counter while they ate their lunch. I waited patiently while they finish eating and they still didnt resolve my problem. After spending more time without resolution I left the store. I still call them to take care of the issue still they could not help me. I will never return to this store. We make you stay in business and this is the way you treat me. Bad business.

Nice sized store. But Ive decided to stop spending my black dollars in a place I dont feel welcomed in for over priced or expired items! Came in to buy a few items one being hair gel. Sign clearly said $2.95. Got to the register and it rung up to a higher price. I went back down the aisle to make sure I didnt see the sign wrong. Told the cashier what it said and asked her to come back there to see. She declined to come back & said the sign was wrong. POOR Customer service.

I spent more than $100 in this store. I didnt realize until I got home that the sales person had given me the wrong pony tail. When I went back to the next day to try and exchange it they would not. I also wanted to return some hair gel, there was a tear on the packaging and the clerk opened the packaged and said that it had been used! I explained that i was in the night before and i had not used it. They laughed and said no, i couldnt return it. No customer service. Anyone can sell items, but I will take my business where there is good customer service.

I was indecisive with the kind of hair i wanted. One lady started with me then seemed to get upset cause i changed my mind from her suggestion. Then another lady came and she was impatient. Just know what you want i guess but if im spending money in your place of business at lest be patient or dont ask if i need help😒

My sister was treated bad here was watch the whole she was there and than charged her for stuff she didnt buy. My sister was wondering why her bill was so high but so mad paid the bill but look at her recipient later that night and seen she was over charged. Went back the next day and they said somebody was else was stealing and was paying attention and didnt know they rung up stuff she didnt buy.

After going to this beauty supply for over four years and spending hundreds of my hard earned dollars in this place, I was treated like I was being dishonest about $1.45 purchase. When I went up to the register to pay for my items, I picked up an item that didnt have the price tag on it. When the woman at the register asked me the price, she came around and made sure that I was giving her the right price! I shouldnt be surprised but Im incredibly disappointed that we still live in a society where the color of my skin gets me labeled as a thief! I want to make the people of this establishment aware that I answer to a higher source and I dont steal because I dont want to disappoint HIM! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND ALL WOMEN OF COLOR SHOULD BE WARNED THAT EVEN THOUGH THE PEOPLE WHO RUN THIS STORE MAY NOT BE FOLLOWING YOU, THEY DO CONSIDER YOU TO BE DISHONEST. I challenge anyone who runs this establishment who reads this to prove me wrong!

This shop has a lot of beauty supplies, however, it very congested which makes it difficult to find what you are looking for.

Found this store when I first moved to lawrenceville I drive 20min to go there when I need hair supplies... alot of the women who work in the store are very helpful they always ask of I need help and say hi and they are very knowledgable about natural.hair and wigs and weaves... I dont know if she is the owner but she always gives me big discounts and advice on how much hair I need for my crochet . I enjoy going to this store very different from hair stores where I am from they dont know a lot about the hair and they really dont help and the stores where Im from and even near my house will try to just sale you anything to get rid of it... not this place the employees take their time and help me

Wish I could give it zero stars. I was looking at hair in the wig area when I got a phonecall. After 5-10 minutes on my cell phone an employee approached me & asked me to move away from the mirror I was using or get off my phone. Before that moment, No one had even asked if I needed help with anything and I was the only customer sitting back there.But suddenly she runs over to tell me to move when she sees me on the phone & then proceeds to dust the area where I was sitting. I dont care how cheap they are! They are right down the street from my house, & Ive probably spent thousands of dollars on hair products here, but I wont be back!! Id rather spend a little more at Target or Walmart. If youre a person of color, I would buy hair online before ever shopping here or any other Asian owned store that sells Black hair products, but makes black people feel like criminals.
