Lets start off by saying I spend around 10-25k per year at gamestop both as an individual and under my physical business.Today I went to make a few returns of items I purchased off the website. I made sure to bring my return labels that came in the box and the original receipts.Mike, the employee working that day (he would not give me his last name) advised me I could not make a return of the unopened products I purchased online even though I had the reciept and return label. I politely told him Im allowed to make returns of products purchased within 30 days if they are unopened. He started yelling at me telling me Im wrong so I decided to call corporate. He wanted the corporate employee John to prove who he said he was. Proceeded to call me a reseller punk and called mall security on me to have me escorted out the gamestop. Honestly the worst customer service experience I have ever had, EVER!!!Mike, you should be ashamed of yourself. I hope gamestop removes you from their staff. Just disgusting experience. I will never go back to this gamestop at the livingston mall again.
It is difficult to write this review as many gamestop locations have closed during the past year. It is important to me that this one remains open and is successful.This is the reason for this two star review. As I would hope for improvement.I arrived to the store on July 1st at 11am, I did not leave until 11:45am. 25min of this time was spent waiting on line with only one person being serviced at the register.I am very patient and understanding however, this was a bit too long to service one customer. The issue was the asking and explaining of the membership program. This took the longest as the program was not made clear to the customer.There seemed to be little to no concern for the customers waiting in line to make a purchases.The hope is for management to see this review and hopefully do additional training with the employee and touch up on some basic customer service as well.Appreciate you taking the time to read this review.
Good staff and everyone is so helpful
This is my favorite GameStop they are always helpful and professional. I have a child with disabilities and they have shown great patience in helping him, thank you. They have a vast knowledge of all types of gaming, collectibles, movies, and consoles love this store. They also offer a Military Discount to our Veterans. What a great place!
Purchased an old racing game for Xbox 360...the sales clerk was most helpful...
Didnt have everything I needed but the employee was really helpful.
I went to buy something. Asked someone stocking shelves if the had what I was looking for. Never looked up at me. Just muttered “get in line and ask there”.Not going to be shopping there, ever.
Great place to buy games
Seems like a lot were trying to review on just standard protocol in terms of trading in for cash or credit. This review will not be about that in any regardFound this particular location to be moderately sized but a little crampy,messy. Seemed also a bit darker with less lighting around store but stock average. Found a few things had been looking for though employees were nice for the most part and did not once show any form of rudeness

I would give game stop a 5 Star cause I love it but I gave it a 4 Star cause there was this one employee and I asked him to see a mouse pad but then he says to me it’s a black mouse pad that’s it, but I wanted to see how big it was. No employee is like this at GameStop except him but GameStop is a great store still

Preordered an item here only to have the sales associate lie to my face about calling when it came in. They told me my voicemail was full as well, yet i have had no issues with my voicemail with anyone else. Theres no record of them ever attempting to call in my call history. The employee clearly bought my preoder item themselves.

Came here last month to get some long-standing issues with my pro member account fixed. Signed up at another store and that guy completely butchered my personal info, so I was never able to even access my rewards points for a good 8 months or so. Went to a couple of other gamestops near me, and none of the employees were able to help me out, which I still find kind of ridiculous. The assistant manager, I think his name was Bryan, was manning the store, and he came through big time. We must have spent a good 10-20 minutes troubleshooting the problem. He was very attentive and patient with all of my questions from start to finish. Just a really impressive bro with a great taste in anime. Another guy, James I think, is just as great to talk to. Very easygoing and considerate. Guys like them make going to Gamestop worthwhile.
Talked to a lovely gentlemen on the phone, he helped me find my 3ds in black, which was located at another store. while i was waiting he hummed a nice melody to pass the time.
Fun place to hang around! Although some of the staff can be moody, the other staff members outweigh those negatives

Ive had a few cases of rude employees here. This location is an extremely cramped store and impossible to walk in at peak times.

I went to sell a phone and to me it looks like they were being racist because I was trying to sell a phone they didnt wanna buy the phone from me. I kept getting ridiculous excuses
No you cant return a game that you bought brand new. What kind of shenanigans is that.but they want you to sell it to them for less than half of what you bought it for.but sell it in the store for 3 dollars less than what you bought it for brand new.
