This is a wonderful shop. The first time Ive been back to a baseball card shop in quite some time. The experience was excellent and the owner, Bill, was extremely knowledgeable and to the point. I respect honesty. We ended up finding an autographed Shohei Ohtani card and bought several cards there. I will definitely be coming back sooner than later!

Today was my first time at Skybox Sports, but definitely not my last! From the moment I walked in I was greeted by Bill, who was very helpful and friendly. Not only did he help me find what I was looking for, but he was more than willing to answer all of my questions as a new card collector. I ended up buying more than what I came in for and probably could have spent hours there looking through all the sports cards/memorabilia. The prices were very reasonable, especially compared to other sports collectible stores I have been to. I will be back soon!

Started collecting baseball cards during covid and was recommended to come here from my step dad who’s been collecting for years. The owner is very helpful and doesn’t hesitate to explain things if you ask. He’s passionate and honestly what I was looking for with a store I can keep coming too. Definitely a spot I would recommend for anyone looking to get into the hobby or who’s been into it.

Located on the second floor of a Livingston Plaza, this store is literally a box in the sky(Hence the great name of Skybox). If you grew up collecting cards and have stored your cards in a box...consider this place the biggest and best box you have ever opened. The owner, Bill, makes you feel like you are a good friend right from your first experience. His knowledge of the hobby is top notch and if you are looking for a card, it is very likely he has it somewhere in his sky-box of cards. If not, send him an email and he will almost certainly have it to you for the next time you are going to be in. Additionally, his love for the hobby translates to all generations. He has taken his younger nephew Danny under his wing and is teaching him the hobby ropes. Dannys passion, though a couple years behind is right up there with Bills. On my last trip there, he told me about how he hosts birthday parties and other celebrations for kids and that he was the greatest Simon Says administrator and that it is rare for a child or adult to make it past 2 rounds. He told me, I could try him later....before I even could, a mother and her son came in as the boy was super excited to grab some boxes/cards. Bill mentioned he gives card rewards for good report cards. After the family made their decision on the cards they wanted, Bill asked the kid if he wanted to test his skills in Simon Says which in turn would render a bonus deal of some sort if he were to win. Well, true to his word, he stumped the kid on his first Simon request. After another Simon stumper, the kid tipped his cap, smiled and left happily with his cards. Definitely a great experience that brought me back to my childhood. Bill is fair with his pricing. Additionally, he buys and I believe trades. A true hobby shop for sure. Skybox is the equivalent to an old fashion barber shop; where people show up for more than just a good haircut or card in this case!Glad I found this diamond in the rough! Kudos to Bill! The shop is located upstairs on the 2nd floor of the strip mall. Took me a little bit to figure that out, so just wanted to share for anyone else who may visit in the future.Met Bill this weekend and he is a great guy. Very helpful and knowledgeable of the hobby. Prices reasonable, especially the cellos. He has a ton of inventory (new and old) and I would have loved to spend more looking around but I was in a hurry.Very good experience, helpful service, and welcoming to strangers. Thank you Bill. This store is exactly what my 7th grade son needed right now! Bill is a wealth of information and is teaching him how to be a true collector. He is a businessman Im sure, but to me all I see is a kind, insanely knowledgeable guy who wants to help kids become collectors and traders responsibly. He basically refused to sell my son cards until he organizes what he has, and understands what hes buying. He will not take advantage of a child EVER and even when Im there he will guide my son and help him to make the best decisions.In a time when we are desperate to give our children activities that are not online, finding this gem of a store and gem of a man is precisely what we needed! Stopped in as a first timer with my wife and met Bill. Excellent guy with some amazing stories. Huge selection of cards, sets, boxes, and just about something for every sports fan. We chatted and I picked up 2 boxes of cards, had some great pulls from both boxes. Honestly I felt like a 13 year old kid again. All of the sights and smells of cars collecting in a great location. I will definitely become a regular.

Bill has a great reputation in the area, so I went to him to have my vintage baseball card collection appraised. Sure enough, he did not disappoint. Bill is an incredibly knowledgeable professional with decades in the business (and an obvious passion for what he does), and he took the time to walk me through the collection -- both before and after the appraisal -- to help me understand what has value, what doesnt, and why. I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell baseball cards or sports memorabilia.

Great place my friend and I go to. If you sign up as a member you get really good discounts on all the cards too. It is quite small, but it is 100% worth the visit.
