This Ulta is very clean and organized. I mainly go here for the hair salon& Nicole R. She is hands down the very best! I have gone other places and had terrible haircuts, coloring etc., but with Nicole, I always walk out happy and so confident! She listens to what my goals are and advises me how we can get there while keeping my hair healthy. She is extremely professional and so kind. I cannot recommend her enough! Her work speaks for itself!

I appreciate Ulta’s ability to making booking services online easy. The service in store is great as well. I have had my hair done numerous times with Nicole and she is absolutely fabulous. She listens to exactly what you want & need while doing what’s best for the health of your hair. Next time you need your hair done check her out!

Amazing! Sydney helped me through my entire shopping experience; she made real recommendations which allowed me to get exactly what I needed while not spending a ton of money. She was very caring, attentive, friendly, and fun to talk to! I will definitely be going back to this particular Ulta Beauty location and hope to work with Sydney again! Though Im sure all the other team members are just as stellar! Sydney went out of her way and spend a good amount of time making sure I was completely comfortable and satisfied. She even hooked me up with discounts and some free samples at the register! Highly recommend!

For the past few months my sister and I have been going to the Ulta salon and I have just one name for you all: NICOLE. An absolute hair ARTIST, as well as complete miracle worker. In just 5 short months she has taken me from my normal to giving me hair I could have only dreamed of. She is extremely knowledgeable and takes her time when it comes to the consult and talking about what your hair goals are. Nicole keeps it very real and while she will never tell you something is impossible, she will tell you in compete detail the process, the cost, the maintenance, etc. She will not leave you with any questions because of how thorough she is. Nicole truly cares about the health of your hair and as someone who has a lot of wavy/curly hair, knowing that she is always working in my hairs best interest is one of the reasons I trust her completely. If you are someone who wants to make a drastic change but is nervous or you just want someone who can bring your hair to its healthiest and happiest, make an appointment with Nicole! You will be so happy that you did!

Ulta in Livingston is one of my favorites! So clean, organized and the staff is very nice and helpful. I mainly go there for the hair salon. Nicole is the best!! She even walked with me to the shampoos and told me which one I should get that would help a lot to keep my hair super healthy. So far, my hair has been the healthiest it’s ever been!! Omg my favorite store everybody is so friendly and helpful. Nicole is truly a magician.. since she cut my hair it been growing faster than ever I love it. She takes her time to make you feel like a queen, my blonde hair comes out always gorgeous. She is the sweetest and excellent professional.

It was my first ulta shopping experience and it really wasnt all that. One staff member appeared new but was literally the sweetest meanwhile the one that rang me up left a lot to be desired when it came to customer service.

Really nice place. First Ulta I have been to and their sale section has amazing deals! I went there looking for the colorpop collection but it was really small. Overall, it was a fun experience and I would go there if I travel to the states again

Very nice looking, bright, clean and well stocked store. I just came here looking for a hairbrush for myself and wife and found exactly what I was looking for at a very good price. The manager was very friendly and asked if we needed help when we were deliberating over the many product choices. Overall a very nice store, Im sure we will be come back for our beauty needs.

This is a relative small store but the employees were super friendly and all wore masks.

I get my hair done with nicole at the salon, she is honestly amazing with everything she does. She not only makes you look beautiful but she educates you about your hair and helps you keep it healthy. I’ve learned so much from her and I will never go to anyone else !

Updated post since review from two years ago, seems the store has gotten rid of all rude employees which is a wonderful thing. My experiences since have been nothing short of spectacular.Each staff member is friendly but not overly so to the point of annoyance. The selection of products is outstanding from drug store items to high end products. Each aisle is clean, tidy, and clearly labeled.I’ve visited the salon twice and have had such a fantastic experience I invite all to try their services. I’ve gotten one of the best hair cuts in my life at this salon. AND they now accept reward points at the salon. It’s a win-win!

The staff was very friendly. Since it was a Tuesday when I went in, some of their shelves needed to be stocked. I loved all the colors of makeup and many gadgets that create beauty. Hopefully my contouring doesn’t end up being washed down the bathroom sink.

The store was relatively empty and I could not find an employee to check me out (nor could the few other customers), I finally found an employee who told me that she could not check me out because she was helping someone. I ended up leaving without making a purchase and am now heading over to Sephora. The store is well stocked, bright, and clean—I just wish the customer service was at the same level as the store’s merchandising.

I walked into a fairly empty store--maybe 3 customers?--and the like 5 employees did not acknowledge me in any way, just continued laughing and joking amongst themselves. I also watched the employees allow the phone to ring about 10 times before they answered it. I was finally asked if I needed help 30 minutes later when I walked into an aisle where the employee was and she almost ran in to me.Now, this doesnt bother me too much. Im usually a fairly independent shopper and hate having employees breathing down my neck, but not even a hello? Ok.As far as the actual store goes, it had a good selection & everything was well-organized.The woman that rung up my order was very friendly & helpful in explaining my Ulta points.Overall, good store but employees a bit stand offish.

They carry many of the items that I use. So it is convenient when I have to restock. People are very helpful.

Liked the location and variety of products, most of the beauty advisors are also good, but didnt like the way that cashier acted. This is a second time that I was not offered nor given promotional product or prices by the same cashier. If you go there and like to try out promotional products, make sure to check beforehand to know whats offered at the time.

I went to Ulta in East Hanover and was not greeted upon entering. I looked at the lady standing behind the counter. So as I proceeded I couldnt find anyone to help me an I couldnt find the product. So I walked out with the same girl at the counter and another sales associate checking out someone. Busy or not, custicust need to be attended to. Servicing customers for over 15 years its a big deal to me where I spend my money. I will not be back to that location.

Everyone was really nice and friendly. I was helped really quickly. Shannon did a great job on my hair and gave me the cut exactly how I wanted it.

If i could give zero stars i would, i got my makeup done here and the lady did an AWFUL job. I looked like i had two black eyes and my lips were messed up. i had to go home and practically re do it. these pictures are what i asked for, what i got & how i fixed it. i will never be going back here again. even though i was unhappy i still had to pay.

Beautiful bright store with oodles of make up departments, and friendly staff! I just needed a back up ULTA Minerals Bronzer, but, they had changed the packaging so I couldnt find it! Shout out to Kim who helped me. Plus, there was a Deal Buy 2, get 2 Free so, I ended up getting 2 Mineral blushes, too! $5 off coupon added to my savings! Love it! 🙋💞😘

Love all the choices but the staff leave something to be desired

No help, hardly any consultant there, you just browse around and no one there to offer advice. When I finally picked something and ready to cash out thats when the cashier is going to ask if I found everything ok and if I needed help, as if I was going to spend another 30 mins waiting on help, nope, and I didnt like the fact that the manager just walked by me I guess to spy on me, without even talking or asking if I need help. I hate going to the ulta in Livingston because as a black woman the workers in that store always make it seems like I am less than a customer, and this is my second experience with this Ulta.

Professional Hair Care Stylists...knows exactly what the customer needs and wants

This is a newer location. I figured the staff would be inviting and enthusiastic, but I received the opposite response. Im happy to help myself as Im a Sephora mua and I freelance, but they didnt approach me with kindness. I happened to be buying foundations for my kit and purchased most of the line-- the salesgirl was judgmental and felt the need to make snide remarks and complain about cleaning out her stock. The staff had full faces on and made them look knowledgeable. A few smiles were given, but no one really said much to me. I made my purchase as fast as I could.

I love Ultra .. but this store is unfriendly and unprofessional. The girls who work here are not nice or accommodating. There is a very negative feeling throughout the store. I shop at the Willowbrook store. Those girls are lovely and helpful. This Livingston location should take a lesson from Willowbrook on how to treat customers. I was appalled at the bad attitude of the employees.

My rating is based on the fact that I had to deal with an uneducated, rude employee the entire time I was in that store. She followed me as if a was stealing something (q tips to apply dip brow with, should I have used my fingers?), made me so uncomfortable and gave me a huge attitude when my cousin asked me a question about the concealer I personally use at home.

Weird stock and inventory. When items go on sale, they are out of stock, even though it says online the items are in stock. This has happened more than once. Staff are standard for Ulta. Back of store smells like hard core blow out central.

There is a lot stuff here from low to High Ridge. However it, you have to go there with an idea what you want and how much you want to spend in order to find anything. There floor staff is not very helpful with a take-it-or-leave-it attitude
