If you live in Lockhart this service is not for you. Continuous Calls Dropped. Internet is not up to par. Takes forever for something to load. Just tried to request a extension what did cricket do..request a Payment. Better luck banging your head on a wall than getting help..then they recommend stuff I wasnt even qualified for..like you can do this but your account is suspended..umm thanks for the help cricket..not...all I needed was two day request lol n now cricket is loosing a customer over two days lol welp..
My mom had a dinosaur phone and was very excited about purchasing an up to date phone. I went with her to help her with the process. She ended up choosing the iPhone XR. It came time to choose a screen protector and case. That’s when we were told when you buy the case and the screen protector, you get a second screen protector for FREE. We went to the counter and they started to transfer my number, (I went from MetroPCS to Cricket) and put on the case and screen protector. As they were doing that my mom asked to see the receipt. The lady told her she put it in the bag. That was a red flag to my mom because normally people ask if they want the receipt to be put in the bag or receive in hand. After doing calculations from what the receipt said it turns out that “the free screen protector” wasn’t free. They were charging two dollars for it. My mom questioned this and they told her, “it’s the way we have to put it in our system.” My mom stated that that is not what she was told in the beginning. Another employee, Paola Gonzalez, stepped in asking what was going on. After we explain to her, she said it was their “bronze package” and basically made it seem that my mom was getting a good PRICE for that FREE screen protector. My mom told her if it’s going to be two dollars for it, she doesn’t want it and Paola says very rudely, “there’s no return on accessories.” I told told her my mom has not opened the accessory. She still said in the same tone there’s no return. My mom said they should have told her that this, “free item” would be two dollars and that she wanted her two dollars. That is when Paola gets even louder and announces to everyone in the store, “does anyone have two dollars to give this lady?!” and then says, “I don’t carry cash.” That’s when she tells the original helper to give my mom two dollars from the register. My mom walked in ecstatic and walked out as if she was viewed as a “low down” for wanting her two dollars. Although, my mom works very hard for her money and it was just two dollars, it was the PRINCIPLE behind it of being told one thing and another happening without her knowledge of it. When confronted about this there was no remorse or apologies. Instead, there was attitude and humility. We just wonder how many other customers are told they’ll get a free item and are getting charged secretly. I am very sad that my mom’s first experience with the service that I recommended went so badly because of a rude employee.
Just purchase a phones yesterday, notice the phone was over heating called and ask to speak to “Shannon “ store manager. I explain myself on my issue and she quickly got an attitude, I asked her what was the reason for her been rude. I never said anything bad to her, she started complaining the she was off the clock and she would have to go to another store and find a phone to replace ( I was ok with this I understood) and she went off with “I don’t even have gas money to go to Austin” and huff and puff!!....uhmmm ok that is not my problem you as a manager how/ when can you help me. VERY rude said “tomorrow when I’m on the clock” and hung up on me!! She is not cut for a “manager” she had a little nasty attitude from the moment I walk in. “Shannon” it’s just a label you carry around there “manager”.
Purchased a phone for my Aunt at the Lockhart location. Informed my representative helping me that I needed just a basic phone so that my Aunt could contact us after her chemotherapy was completed. Never was I told a policy of return in 7 days. Well spending or throwing aways this money $117.00 cause 1 day after the return policy I couldnt exchange for a flip phone. Spoke with another representative who I stated of my purchase and again no information on policy return. Long story short my representative was new and they couldnt help and being informed incorrect information this was my fault and I just have to enjoy that Cricket just pocketed my money. Thanks Cricket
Worst customer service, they have no Patrice at all, I’d rather pay and get information from the hotline, jeez people have not patience 🙄🙄
This cricket store deserves NO STARS!!! Me an my husband went in to buy a phone for my daughter, it was her 1st phone..the two people there name crystal an some other guy dont remember his name but were very rude and gave me wrong information when i went 2 hrs later to exchange the phone due to defected...they told me they couldnt do nothing but only refund me $20 ....i paid for that phone and activation an all and all they wanted to do was refund $20....i called customer service and told them what happened and they told me that cricket store had informed me wrong that they should refund all my money back or exchange me for an other just like the one i had..i went back an they used the same thing again and i requested to speak to the manager an told her about everything by phone an what customer service told me an that if they didnt believe me ill call them an put them on speaker! thats when then i was able to get my exchange of my phone with no extra charge because it was not my fault that the cell was defective!! Im sure lots of people had this issue an there is where you can call to complain, if this happens to you call customer service explain everything and find what an who to speak to get this fixed an not get ripped off like it has happen to others...the recipt say everything about refunds or exchanges no matter what they say at the store about their policiys but there is a way around it to not let that happen to you..dont take no for a answer!! And especially dont fall for the excuse my manger is not here come back tomorrow because all that happens is when you do go again to see if the manager is there they will tell you agian come back, just to get it their way till the 7 days are over!! Cricket is a good company for me, but its the employees that rip you off at the store its not the way cricket works..
They got better now that They have new staff... Well I think. Dont get crickett phones here they have a 25%activation fee and I wont say lie maby they were misinformed. When anywhere else its 10/or 15 or hmu I can show you several options even open scourxe. Ive informed them for years now tho so They should know by now I dont get it. Custmer service not here.
