Im new to the book world, and didnt really know where to start. I was looking for books, by a certain author. I thought Id check out Barnes & Noble. Best book store ever!! I needed the whole series, and they had it, every book in the series!! I couldnt find this series, anywhere else & I had looked at a lot of places. The customer service, was amazing & super friendly! Even other shoppers in the store, were super friendly. Ive already put some books on hold, to pick up tomorrow. After getting three books today, well its time to get reading. Thanks Barnes & Noble

The woman that helped me at the counter was so knowledgeable. And she got how exciting it is to buy a book right when it comes out. They hire bookpeople :-). I always have a good experience here.

When it comes to selling books, nobody beats this retail bookstore. I know a lot of people are doing their business online, but for me---being able to touch the books, see the pages, being able to go into a bookstore and collect a novel, is beyond words, the best feeling EVER! This bookstore offers the BEST selection of books and at a fair price!

Well kept and good book selection. Always love sneaking a trip in here, to the detriment of my wallet ;) Only gripe is the Starbucks inside doesnt take payment via the Starbucks app, and the flatbread there was pretty bad.

Only offline bookstore available in town these days. B&N has many variety of books and staff are kind and friendly. However, the store is operated with short staff, therefore there is always a bit of long line to ring up an item. Every time I visited, there was only one staff working at the register. Hope they can hire a few more to provide better customer experience.

They got everything your looking for, for all ages worth. Also with some toys for young ages as well. Its so quiet in there as well, like being in a library. But, its literally just cause everyone is respectful of others reading and enjoying some coffee with the Starbucks inside. 👍🏽 The cookies are delicious.

Its always fun to go to a physical bookstore and browse weather for fiction or reference books or travel books and the kids section is always really good with both educational toys and a wide variety of books for all ages.

I love a place where they read so much that they know exactly where the book is, and can actually discuss it. On the spot. A readers paradise with very literate, friendly, and genuine staff. Worth it.

My daughters favorite place to binge. Cheap books and cool store. Even have a cafe with decent drinks.

Its got a good collection of books for beginners to young readers to advanded readers. My Teen daughters approve it and they are avid readers and writers. Will be worth it to give it a try.

You can spend a wonderful time browsing thru all the books.

Staff was super helpful. Found the astrology book Ive been wanting and a great little galaxy illustrated notebook to go along with it to record key points and facts. Spent under $20 for both which is a steal!

Went in with my family for some baseball cards and was told one per family. When on social media and on the phone when we called they stated 1 per person. When asked to speak with a manger Shirley came out. I asked to see where the rules are available that say 1 per family and she said I’m telling you I decide. She had a huge attitude stared me and my kids down and said she was not helping us and was walking away! She went with another employee to stare us down and talk about me and kids. She did not care to resolve the situation she wanted to get rid of us! Worst experience ever! They clearly cater to certain people who are not of color!!! They offered a white family 1 each of the cards right after us. Same manager that didn’t want to help us at all. So yes Shirley clearly caters to the white clientele when she herself is a person of color.

This Barns & Noble is in a nice spot. Its surrounded by Ulta, Best Buy and Whole Foods. What more could you ask for. Plenty of parking and they open later then some Barnes & Nobles. Staff here are friendly as well.

Went and shopped two other stores. They did not have the books I wanted. Arnes and Nible should have been my first stop.

Helpful staff and great stuff!Im a recent transplant from Seattle and this is honestly the only chain store Ive been to in Lynnwood in the past 3 years where its every bit as worthwhile to come to as it is its Seattle counterpart.

While most Barnes and Nobles are pretty great, this one is particularly so. If you like books, and coffee theres really no better place!Their cafe is well stocked with delicious goodies, and there are usually enough people to create a bit of atmosphere while not being overly crowded. I frequently come here to do a little bit of work and avoid the overly busy Starbucks down the street.Their selection of books is fantastic too, its a large store and staff are always happy to help look something up for you or make a suggestion or two if youre not sure what to read next.There are magazines here that I havent been able to find anywhere else (even my favorites from France or Australia) and they have a great gift section for that hard-to-buy person.The kids book section up the back is particularly fantastic, and they run frequent story-times and other activities at the store. I definitely recommend checking it out, its a great place to meet other parents too!

I come in here often to get books for the kids. Today I went in to try and find a book on folding flags and history on the American Flag in order to do a fun and educational activity with my kids. The assistance I received was absolute trash. You can go online.... alright. I suppose keeping your store open isnt a concern. Did you try the library. No.. I came here to try and keep a store I enjoy afloat. 🤷🏻‍♂️. Last time I shop here. I can always go online.

All around excellent customer service! From the cafe to sales floor all the way to checkout every employee was so courteous. Everyone was so kind and helpful! With everything going on right now, especially with restrictions within retail, it was nice to have such a friendly experience.

Havent been here for a while and had to figure out where things were, but employees were really helpful. I was surprised that I found classic books at a great price.

The Starbucks here does not take the Starbucks card.I liked the atmosphere here for reading books. Enjoyed my stay in the afternoon.

B&N is fine. I dont go to book stores much anymore as I get most of all my books online from used books resalers now adays. I have a lot of nostalgia for this location as it used to be a pace I spent a lot of time in the past and would take nerdy girls on dates there at the cafe before I met my wife.

Zero stars! Privacy is an issue here, even when you tell them you need to close the door for medical reasons. I have never had a clerk shake her finger at me and yell at me No! I said No! And not let me even speak.

In a fairly safe and nice neighborhood close to the freeway and mall. The usual inventory, nice staff. Busy at the coffee counter. Will shop here again.

This place is a great place but there are always out of the same book and it feels like they havent stocked it for a while but the store is pretty big over all good store!

Less and less of a book store these days, more of a toy store and stationery store.

No CD section, only vinyls. Staff was very nice.

I havent visited the book store since before pandemic. It was nice to see they were open, the cafe was open, and the restrooms too! Plenty of space to socially distance, the staff wore masks and were cleaning all while providing great customer service!

Ebooks are fine but for me theres something about wandering a bookstore purchasing something you had no idea you wanted before you came in. Great customer service, excellent selections.

Never disappointed here

I have never been treated so terribly in a store in my life. I was recently in the Lynnwood Barnes & Noble Christmas shopping when a lady came up to me and told me my time was up & I needed to leave the store. I traveled 30+ miles to do my shopping there and had several people to buy for. Then she said she could help me to the register. No way was I buying books as Im being told to leave. Expect to be treated poorly at this store. To bad its the only one in the area as I will never be back. We are the customers learn how to treat people or work from home!!!!

Deleting the entire review because the situation was talked out with manager michelle over the phone, who was really nice and understanding. but im still disappointed that the store manager tamera would disrespect my mother like that, so i will be putting in a complaint about that. harassing customers without gathering all the information first is not a good business move and going through the reviews on here i see that this isnt her first time being unprofessional.

Wonderful!!! It is nostalgic to roam the aisles looking at all the awesome books! The book store is clean, serene and welcoming. Allot of cool kids tops and books. A good place to bring your kids for an outing in these trying times!

Even with the limited occupancy, B&N is doing well at staying on top of things. Good customer service is a hallmark at this store. The café is open but theres no seating available per state ordinance.

The RUDEST people I HAVE ever met. I needed help and they wouldn’t help me. I know is to never go to this place again. Better ordering something off Amazon because it is easier to find help over a COMPUTER than in person. 🤬johnthan (one of the employees) yelled at me for being in the WW2 area at the age of 15. i could not believe it. i have a special needs cousin that cant wear a mask. we went to the starbucks/coffee bar there and they refused to serve us because he wasnt wearing a mask. i tried to explain why he was not wearing a mask, but they didnt care. i was reading reviews and this is not the first time that the starbucks has done this. 😡

I liked the place The workers dont just work there. But they also are avid readers. Customer service was great. Even the customers were nice. Im gonna be going back after I finish the book I purchased.

Best book store ever!!!! Like Elliot Bay Book Company of old. They are amazingly hpful and have every genre of books you can think of. They also have a childrens area with educational and fun gifts, fluffy toys and things that will ignite the imagination of chosen of all ages. They have cards, gift bags, special gifts, great lattes or mochas......great place to take time and look around leisurely......YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!@@@@

A nice, well kept place. They stock a wide variety of books, though id recommend the library if you want exactly what youre looking for. Staff were friendly and service was quick. The Starbucks was absolutely amazing, not only was it fast but they made the drinks nearly perfectly! I highly recommend this place if youre looking for real books instead of all the online platforms we have these days. Overall great!

Great place. Great service. The staff here knows what they are selling. They are good at finding what you are looking for. And they also care good at giving good suggestions on what to read according to your preferences . Unfortunately some customers dont know how to talk quietly when shopping.

They have jigsaw puzzles and a lot more games than I knew. And Legos, too. It just happened puzzles and Legos were at the top of my shopping list. Helpful staff, easy checkout, hand cleaner at the entrance - it was all good!

Its not that I dislike the store. Its a very pleasant shopping environment. I cant help but be frustrated at the overwhelming bias towards left leaning books and publications. Also, the staff is extremely fussy towards all of these face mask wearing, social distancing, sanitizing issues. Some might think that is a good thing but personally it seems over-the-top and rather invasive. I honestly felt like they didnt even want people touching the books. Being able to have a closer look is the only thing that sets Barnes & Noble apart from online ordering.

BEST place for the wonder and love of BOOKS

The expiriance was a good one.! We are down from Sitka Alaska. & Tend to shop 4 our favorite authors when we come 2 town. The service was great! Workers, very helpful, & knowledgeable, clean invirnment, hand sanitizer everywhere!Not 2 many people in to he store. Good job @ 25%😊👍🎄

I like Barnes and Noble but the Science Fiction Fantasy section has shrunk. You have to go to the Downtown Seattle store for a better selection. The staff is very helpful. The young adult section is good.
