The store was pretty clean, overall, with things actually being in their proper places, and not lying in disarray on the aisle floors.Of note were the completely different staff members I encountered, all of whom were very kind and helpful.There also looked to be a great range of products in stock, with quite reasonable pricing, and it seems like they now carry a lot more than what I used to see on my weekly shopping trips, which COVID-19 brought to an abrupt halt. I am definitely looking forward to being able to return just to browse, after the pandemic ends!

Absolutely Loved It!!! The clothing is on sale currently!! I was able to build 3 full outfits (shoes included) for $8!! Really need to help them clear inventory at those prices

I gave it a two for convenience and a one because the staff is polite.The convenience thing is wavering a little because they are almost always out of the product I need, so I end up having to go out of my way to another store anyway.Also, I dont see how they can rightfully call themselves a Dollar Store, because their prices are the same as everywhere else.

They usually have most of what anyone needs on a budget and its convenient. But more staff should be helping customers, not stocking. Overall great improved location.

Waited at register for 10 minutes! The lady said she was the only one who was working and the line was 10 deep! Another employee came out and saved us all! She is mean and he was an angel!

Great employees including Tracey and the manager Bobby and Asst Manager are very helpful. Only two blocks from my home making it very convenient to make a quick trip! Love you guys!!

Dollar General has the best prices on all the essentials that every household requires daily. The store is clean, spacious, and almost always well-stocked (Covid interrupted their perfect record). The staff works really hard & deserves our appreciation!

The Dollar General is the Dollar General. Since COVID still out and about I dont go to the big stores, Ill wait until its just about closing time at DG and go there it happens to be 3 blocks from the house, grab little stuff I need. This store has been good to me here on HWY 59 since COVID.

They are out of merchandise most of the time. Some of the aisles are very unorganized.

Great place for most household basics. I shop often at these stores. Helpful and friendly staff no long lines. My only problem is narrow aisles that are hard to navigate with a shopping cart especially with displays in those already narrow aisles.

Its Dollar General what more do you expect. Great deals just dont expect to get in and out of there quickly. Still faster than Wal-Mart. The service changes with day.

Christmas is in full swing at Dollar General. The store seems much more organized lately. Very clean and they have so much more than the regular dollar stores. The employees are friendly and helpful.

Dollar General has really good/low prices. Many items are the same price, some even a few pennies less, than Walmart. Make sure you check out their frozen foods and dairy sections, I was amazed at how low the prices were. Great place to shop!

Great store to shop at.....variations of items that are obviously useful and they have nice range of prices ranging around $1-$200 or more.......maybe less You can use EBT card to select your grocies .........you should stop at your nearest Dollar General.

Dollar General is a great convenience store/one stop shop. It has both name brand and generic products. Prices are ok. Ive seen the same items at the Dollar store for as much as 30% less.

Close, has basic produce for good price. All other general household item & paper products

Great prices

Only find some things are cheaper there . Dont know if its worth the time and gas to travel for just an item or two.But in respect the jury is still out on that one as for Im still honing my shopping saving skills.

The people that work at this dollar general are extremely rude from the man with the ponytail to the lady with the pink hair. I live 3 minutes from there but refuse to go there. The Customer service is horrible.

You have some dead trees (5 that i see) that are starting to drop leaves from putting too much dirt around them. one is leaning at my house. and with storm time nearing it;s peak i worry about it falling.also your truck are coming on Tues. eve and stay all night running 40 feet from my bedrooms,i have asked the co to try and change it;s time, or to stay in a truck stop.i know we are on a hwy and parish zoning allows such stores but i cant see the NEED to have a truck running all night next to someones house. ...

It was a quick visit. Found what was needed and got out.

Cashiers were incompetent. Asked about a sign regarding blind / handicap customers and they asked me why i want to know. They admitted they had no clue why sifn was there. Sad for the disabled patrons. Wrong answer.

The prices are great here. Its like the Dollar Store and Walmart combined. They have a rewards program too and an app gor even more savings. This location is centrally located in Mandeville at the foot of Hwy 59 and 190, where Girod turns into 59.

Store is usually a mess with plenty of out of stocks every time I visit. Not very quick to call for a back-up cashier either. Used to be my go-to for bread, milk, etc., but lately I drive the extra few miles to the grocery store.
