I absolutely love King Kake King. Our office orders every year. This year, we ordered a strawberry/cream cheese and a lemon. I cut the cakes into one inch slices. The filling was gushing out as I cut each time. Ive never seen so much filling in a king cake before! The cake was moist and flaky! It was covered with icing and purple, green, and gold sugar. My co-workers said that it was the best king cake theyve ever had. Dont listen to bad reviews! You must try these cakes for yourself. If you EVER have any problem with your cake at all, just call them and they will make it right. My office devoured the cakes in about 30 minutes.

Cake was good. Acronym for name could use some work.

Oh how sad. For two weeks, I have been dreaming about ordering my own Triple King Kake King delicious savory treat just as one of my native Louisiana employee has done for our office since she joined our staff. So good we’re these past cakes that other offices have begun to anticipate its arrival! However, thanks to COVID, our office staff had to be temporarily cut back, so I ordered one myself. Ordering was super easy! It arrived exactly on time. I waited as long as I could to sample the sugary goodness but from the first piece I was a bit disappointed. Let’s be honest here, it’s the fantastic combination of all three fillings that make the bread part tolerable. Cream cheese, strawberry and cinnamon pecans; what’s not to love when all three are braided together for morning indulgence. Unfortunately, my King Kake is severely lacking in all the things that make the anticipation and $79 price tag to get it here worthwhile! There is the tiniest ribbon of cinnamon and strawberry in the end I cut first. I’m still looking for the cream cheese as is illustrated in the picture of the Triple on their website. Without all these fillings, there’s hardly a reason to continue to waste time and calories on boring chewy bread and sanding sugar.I am so glad I didn’t order these for my employees. I would have been embarrassed and disappointed that this year’s cake does NOT hold a candle to the cakes from years past. I hope others who have ordered their King Kakes have a much more happier experience than I.I suppose I’ve learned a valuable lesson: forget paying nearly $100 a product that can be just as equally attend through any local grocery store.Sorry King Kake King, our roads diverge from here. I know you are extra burdened this time of year with orders, but you’ve had all year to drill in product quality and product awareness. This will be my last order.Respectfully,Kathy F.Canton, GA
