I traveled to Miami and experienced severe eye discomfort on the plane. By the time I arrived at the hotel I couldnt open my eye. I called Dr Goulds office the next morning and they were able to see me that day. Dr Gould was able to relief the discomfort in my eye right away and discovered I had damaged my cornea. She prescribed eye drops to help the healing process, but also suggested that I refrain from using my contacts for a week. Now I needed glasses and her team was super helpful with this process. They helped me find some frames that fit my style and had them ready in less than an hour! Wow! Dr Gould and her team saved our Miami trip! Thanks!!

One of the worst experience after so many years going to this practice.Bad treatment from the manager and more than anything else, I was not able to get refund on the money paid to them by my insurance after paying a $125 for my last visit.Such a dishonesty!!!!!

I had a bad case of internal stye and I called the office of Dr. Gould for the first time and they told me that the Dr. could see me right away. So I walked to their office and I was taken care immediately. A coworker recommended Dr. Gould and he was right. After my appointment I realized that I have been a teacher of Dr. Goulds son. What a small world!

Came back again this year for another eye exam. This time with Dr. Ruiz who is just as thorough and pleasant as Dr. Gould. Overall great experience, they brought me in right away. Highly recommend.

I was having an issue with my eyes and found Gould Vision. It was not my vision that was bothering me and so I needed to see an eye doctor, (an optometric physician). This is how I came to meet Dr Celina Ruiz and her wonderful and very friendly staff. Dr. Ruiz gave me a full exam and figured out the problem right away. Not only did she resolve the problem but scheduled several follow up visits so that she could monitor my progress. Dr. Ruiz is smart, compassionate and very caring. I would highly recommend Gould Vision to anyone who needs vision care. If you stop by just know that everyone in that office is helpful and very kind.I had an exceptional experience there and I do not need to look any further.

Loved this place! I entered on a rainy day and thought to myself this is not going to be great since the weather. But I Thought wrong; everyone was sweet. I have my daughter writing this review because I speak Spanish. I couldnt let them give me the best service without acknowledging them about it. Dr. Adina Gould was the sweetest doctor Ive ever met. Usually, doctors just see people like robots but no she took her time and she was very thorough. The results were incredible I have great vision and they had me go through various machines and took photos of my eyes as well. Ive never gone to an Optometrist office that is very efficient and with people who really want to help you. The process was quick and easy. I am very happy with the service and I look at most of the reviews and think to myself; these people must have been difficult because I did not have any problems with the service. I have been to many optometrists in the past, but there have been none quite like Dr. Ruiz. She was honestly amazing! I told her what was going on with my vision and she took time to listen to me and carefully see what was wrong and provided a solution. She was very professional and helpful as was all of the staff. If you’re lOOking for an amazing optometrist experience, I highly recommend Dr. Celina Ruiz. Her unique eye examination approach is modern, upbeat and humorous, making me feel at ease throughout the visit. She’s knowledgeable on the latest contact lenses technology and during my evaluation suggested the best contacts I’ve ever worn – it doesn’t feel like I have them on. :) The Staff there is wonderful as well. Julie, the friendly optician, did an excellent job with the preliminary tests/ pics. And, Andrea is an eyeglasses expert, listening to the customer and offering selections based on your style and needs, but weighing in on a perfect fit!

Dr Gould is spot on with her prescriptions. I wear glasses that require 3 different lenses and I couldn’t be happier with the results. A friendly and professional staff is definitely a bonus as well.

I have had glasses for as long as I can remember and Gould Visions has been my go-to place. When I thought I was going blind in the fourth grade my parents took me to their good friend Dr. Gould and she discovered that I had astigmatism. With her kindness and patience she helped me find the perfect pair of glasses. Whenever I have an issue with my eyes, Dr. Gould is there. Her business is so great that I make the trek all the way to Miami Beach from Coral Gables just to get the best eye care in the city.

My eyes are not terrible but I have not been to the eye doctor in some time. This place was recommended by a friend and I have to say, I was very pleased. I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Ruiz whom I had heard good things about. Upon arriving the staff checked me in and were very kind. When I went to see Dr. Ruiz, I was greeted by a very friendly, enthusiastic, and at times comical doctor.I get nervous around doctors but she had a great sense of humor and made the whole experience quite pleasant. I got some good laughs in and learned that thankfully my vision hadn’t changed too much. I had a very nice experience and I cannot wait to see her in a year for my next check in. I absolutely LOVED this place. When entering I was greeted and welcomed by two of the sweetest receptionist I have ever met. So warm and positive. The optometrist was so gentle and friendly. She made me feel very comfortable and took her time to examine my eyes. I greatly appreciated everything everyone did for me and I would definitely go back again and again. Dr. Gould is excellent! She is very attentive and very thorough. She has great bed side manner. The staff was very helpful, cheerful, and efficient. They all made me feel at ease and at home. Read carefully the following statement: 3 consultations, 4 different pairs of glasses trials and 3 months later, I still don’t have proper glassesI went to Gould Vision for the first time in June 2018.I simply needed my reading glasses’ prescription to be adjusted after five years.I first saw Dr Gould and she did the regular exam (I’m used to it, I wear glasses since the age of 10).I step out with a prescription, I chose new frame and ask lenses for the frame I already have so I can have two pairs of glasses.I have to wait 2 weeks to get my glasses ready, which is a lot, and when I try them on, I can’t see anything. It’s all blurry. After 35 minutes in the store they told me they are going to reorder the lenses ! Two more weeks... I try them on and it’s awful, they’ve ordered progressive lenses. I have to see the Dr again, it’s another Dr. She performs the exam again. Finds out a complete different prescription !?!?!?!?!Two more weeks….I’m not comfortable but I go back home with my new glasses but I can’t read with them, I tried few days to see If I get used to it but there is no way, I don’t see from close.I go back and see the second Dr again (remember, third consultation, third pairs of glasses), I say that I don’t want progressive glasses and I don’t even understand why they ordered them in the first place since I don’t need any correction except to read !Two more weeks….Today, September 11 2018, 3 months after my first consult meaning 3 months WITHOUT any glasses for me to read and regular headaches, I went to FINALLY pick up the regular reading glasses and I can’t see with any of them.I’m fed up, to say the least, I ask for a refund (oh, I forgot to mention that I stupidly paid upfront the whole amount of $933) and they refuse.I can’t use any of the 2 pairs of glasses, I already spent hours there, and I’m at the point where I really need glasses so I want to go somewhere else but they say they will work it out. WHAAAAAAAT ????!?!?!?!I forgot to mention that they got rid of my original lenses so I can’t even take them back (they first told me the lab had them then they accused me of having them since the beginning).I decided to file a complaint against them and told them so they called the Police (yes, you read well).So 3 months later, here I am with my original frames without lenses, no new pair of glasses (I left everything at the store) and about a thousand dollar spent.No more comments needed !

Gould Vision is the best! My experience there getting my first glasses was life-changing. I always thought that I saw just as well as all of the other kids, but when I was 9 my parents got worried about my sight and took me to see Dr. Gould. I remember finally being able to read a poster from across the room and crying because I finally knew what Id been missing out on. Dr. Gould is the most kind and compassionate person, and Ive gone back to her ever since for all of my eye needs.

Absolutely a fraud. I told them not to bill my insurance. However they must of had my insurance information from the previous visit. I paid out-of-pocket and they still billed my insurance. When I looked at my EOB they even billed for three different diagnoses codes. I called them they gave me some explanation that makes zero sense. I will be calling my insurance company to recoup the money paid too then.

Saturday Appointments! If not for their flexible hours and helpful staff I’d still be wearing glasses that are more then 6 years old. They are professional, friendly and quick. They told me my glasses would take two weeks to be ready, but after one week I received a call that they were ready to be picked up. I definitely would recommend Dr Gould and her staff to anyone. And I will soon be returning for my contact lens exam

My wife took my kids here and we have found the same as the negative reviews posted below. Would not recommend Gould Vision as they do not specialize in childrens optometry because they do not have the appropriate equipment.I was lucky that I detected that Dr Gould did not know she was talking about, so sought another opinion which turned out to be very different to the one I received here. I was told in the childrens optometry world she has a very poor reputation.Before she replies that I am a fake review, I am not, and in fact, my wife found Dr Gould and her husband very personable.Unfortunately, being personable does not deliver quality childrens optometry services and I would not recommend.

Dr. Gould is great and the staff is wonderful too. I had gone to a supposed contact lens specialist previously but never could get the hang of putting in the contacts. Dr. Gould noted that I have a unusually shaped eyeball and said she wasnt surprised that I would have had difficulty inserting the type of contacts I had tried. She prescribed a different type and Voila! I can do it no problem. Very conscientious and sharp!

I have constantly needed to change the strength of my glasses ever since I found out I needed them in elementary school. Gould Vision is the only place I would consider going to, because they are the best at correcting my vision. Previously, other places have made slight innaccuracies to my lenses which are noticeable and annoying, but never here.

The Doctor was incredibly thorough and really knew her stuff. All the technicians and office assistants were friendly, very helpful and no one tried to sell us anything unnecessary. For example, I got caught in the rain biking there & Vickie shared her coffee with me, helped me dry off, and sweet talked me. They are generous with the eyeball fluid samples, advice & stories. Ive never loved an opthamologists office this much before. I hope I never have to move away!

I visited Dr. Gould for my routine eye exam recently and has been thoroughly impressed by their level of service. The ladies at the Reception desk were very professional and friendly. Both Dr. Gould and Dr. Thompson were both professional, kind, and provided great care during my exam and explaining my treatment options.

The staff here is wonderful! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. They get you in and out quickly and you can tell they all care about their clients.

Fantastic eye doctor and the optical has all the new trends for glasses. Aside from my husband who used to do my eye exams, Dr. GOULD I highly recommend.

Dr Gould is wonderful, unfortunately shes not really working here much anymore. I think shes down to two days a week. Shes changed over all the staff in the last 6 months and the new staff is quite clueless and has pretty poor customer service. I waited 5 weeks for my glasses and had to call proactively twice in order to know when they were ready. This is after spending about $800 after insurance. I would have expected more. Sad to say Im looking for a new optometrist next year. My wife is looking now :(

While on vacation in Miami Beach, I was running on the beach and I got sand in my eye. I saw Dr. Gould and she took great care of me. Thankfully, I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation & long runs on the beach. Thank you Dr. Gould!

I am happy that I finally get to review Gould Vision because I have been going there for many years and love the doctors and the staff. I get a check up every summer and now that I have moved further away, Dr. Gould is one of the very few doctors that I refuse to replace. Now I have to drive much further through rush hour traffic too, but it is worth the time and distance. Dr. Gould is fun and easy and gives me the attention I seek. Her staff, Natalie and Vicky are remarkable. They are warm and friendly and still very professional and knowledgeable. They will go out of there way to battle with insurance companies at your best interest. They never appear stressed although they are capable of servicing several patients at a time and have truly made me feel as though I have knowned them for ever. Like I said, they are worth the distance and I would refer them to anyone who needs an optomitrist. C. V.

Dont get me wrong. The doctor is good.The billing/ accounting is pathetic. They charged me wayyy more than I was supposed to pay. The lady saw I was new to the US and scammed me into paying triple the amount I actually owed.After 5 months of fighting and arguing, I got a hold of blue Cross and we confronted the Lady. They had apparently claimed 3 bills from blue Cross when they actually charged me twice. I was told Ill finally get a refund 3 weeks backs and Im still waiting. Im lucky that the lady spoke on a blue Cross recorded line but please DO NOT VISIT this clinic. They did fix my vision but charged me wayyy more than I was supposed to and I have still not gotten the refund.Beware of Pilar.. shes the one who will scam you.
