Ive always loved the coffee ☕, but the first time I had a cupcake from there it was horrible! I never purchased the baked goods again. Well I gave it another shot and had the cinnamon chip scone the other day and it tasted awesome! So hats off to the NEW baker I will be trying something else next time!

I went for the first time today and have to say it’s as amazing and tasty as everyone else says it is. My coffee was fabulous as I had hoped. Amanda is totally amazing and made my drinks phenomenal. I can’t wait to go back again very soon. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Live this place and the product they make however their hours are quite weird and hard to get around. Ive wanted to go many times but they close around two every day making it very hard to purchase their drinks

The iced tea of the day was Lavender Earl Grey and it was absolutely delicious! I got it without sweetener, and it had a lovely light floral taste. The ambience in this coffee shop it lovely. They have large windows with plants soaking up the soft light. This was a lovely way to start the day.

Great coffee shop! When you walk in you can tell the place is well loved because it is packed! However, that didnt seem to affect my wait time. I ordered a 16oz latte and it was excellent! No bitter taste and the milk was perfectly steamed. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere too! Before I left I purchased a 1lb bag of a lightly roasted in-house blend to take with me. Definitely a must-go for any coffee lover locally or just passing through.

I have been here for hours, had a house espresso first and a creamosa after a while (essentially an Italian soda). Very friendly atmosphere, absolutely beautiful interior, and perfect drinks and service.

Cause later with coconut, cinnamon, and extra half and half.... you gotta try it!

Nice atmosphere and cheerful staff! We had a delightful white chocolate peppermint scone and a delicious, warm apple fritter. We were, however, unimpressed with our white chocolate peppermint lattes. Barely warm, and rather blan, I could taste a hint of peppermint if I used my imagination. Im sure they have a lot of great drinks judging by the volume of business so hopefully Ill have to better experience next time.UPDATE : I returned with my two daughters and received great customer service as before. We ordered the iced coffees in cinnamon roll, ginger bread, and salted carmel flavors. We were all very happy with the flavor and experience! We will be back whenever we feel like a great drink at classy little coffee shop.

Had to bump em up a star for awesome service (thanks for babysitting my lost keys overnight) and their awesome Beehive latte (I’m glad I discovered this last day of my visit otherwise I would be in here every single day ordering at least one or four).

Their iced americanos are life changing, one of the best I’ve had, and I’ve had quite a few. The baristas are super nice and the atmosphere is ideal for a coffee shop. Simple drinks to craft coffee drinks like pour over and nitro.

A downtown favorite. Great spot with a wide selection of quality beverages. Personally, Im not much of a coffee drinker, so I appreciate their selection of tea, and enjoy the season ice tea of the day. The bagels here are pretty tasty. Very friendly service.

I went to Ball State all 4 years of school and visited this coffee shop regularly. Now I live in Indianapolis and make it an effort to come here once a month. It is the perfect place to meet with friends, do schoolwork or or simply “chill out.”

I have been coming here on and off for years and have loved watching it grow from a quaint place into the powerhouse that it is today. I love it, my friends love it, and my kids love it. They have something for everyone. Even the bathroom decor is incredible.

Absolutely love the caffeinery! Their blends are perfect and they offer pre ground or whole beans with fast shipping and handling! Can’t wait for their shop to reopen as I love the atmosphere there!

I’ve lived in this town for 23 years. I worked downtown for 11 years. I’ve seen this space be a lot of things. None of those businesses lasted. It was a cafe, a photo studio, maybe some kind of boutique? The fact that I don’t remember what all was even in that space is a good indication of the impact it had on the community. Then comes the Caffeinery. From day one, it was obvious that this was going to be different. Frank and Lauren transformed the space into a place you want to be. The coffee is great, the food is great, the service is great. In the midst of Covid-19, I’ve gained a greater respect for the Caffeinery because of the way they have communicated with their patrons and the truthfulness in which they communicate. I haven’t ordered any coffee beans from their roastery yet, but I’m thinking it’s time to change that.

Its a nice inviting place with kind employees and good beverages. It can be difficult to find close parking... And it can be crowded and hard to get a place to sit. The wifi needs to be upgraded to support the crowds. All in all we like it and recommend it.

Very kind and professional staff, extremely clean, wonderful atmosphere with great decor, and the prices are fantastic for the quality you’re getting! This is definitely going to be my new regular spot for meeting friends and dates with my husband!

The Caffeinery has an incredibly friendly and competent staff. Muncie is blessed to have a coffee shop that makes such quality craft coffee. If you are any bit of a coffee lover, you will enjoy the Caffeinery. From pour-overs to flavored lattes, they have an impressive menu that should suit most if not all tastes. This is one of my favorite places to meet people and/or work when Im in town. My wife and I have enjoyed many visits here over the years.

I had an almond joy latte and it was amazing! I went around 2:30 on a Saturday and the pastry selection was pretty limited. I wanted a cupcake, based on another review, but they were gone. I had chocolate chip biscotti chips and they were tasty.I thought I waited a bit long for my coffee. Others have mentioned fast service. I ordered, went to the restroom and waited another 8 minutes for my drink. It was worth the wait, but I was on a schedule and getting impatient. The coffee shop was very full.The employees were very friendly and helpful.I will definitely return.

Coffee is sub-par and acidic. Service was quick but the cashier I had had a bad attitude. Over priced for the quality you get. If you like sweet coffees you probably wont notice.

This I the best place to buy coffee in Muncie. That do a very decent job of providing for the whole spectrum of coffee tastes without being so hip that one feels intimidated.

Excellent coffee and tea. Excellent service. Great location. Fantastically clean. Check out the wash rooms, specially the toilet seat and toilet paper patents hanging on the wall.. which proves once and for all the correct way to hang a roll of toilet paper. 😉

Decent coffee and helpful staff. The seating options are pretty good for small groups, though noise can carry so conversation can sometimes be difficult. The location is convenient to the revived downtown area. Parking is okay, but you may have to walk a couple of blocks. (Not a big deal unless you have mobility issues.)

Great place and great people! They also have Happy Hour Mondays and Tuesdays 1-3 PM, so thats another reason to stop in! Never a bad experience and have been a returning customer for 2 years.

A truly outstanding coffee shop. Large coffee and tea selection, very reasonable prices. Very clean with plenty of seating and great views from huge windows. The industrial styling inside is fantastic and feels very refreshing with super high ceilings. The only thing they dont offer are traditional breakfast sandwiches with egg/bacon/sausage. Overall a great store.

Ive been coming to this coffeeshop for three years since moving to Muncie, IN. Its family-owned and community-oriented. The coffee is amazing and they have bagels/pastries that are marvelous. I work at a local university and this place is a space that I can come to if I need to get away, do some reading/writing, or just want to enjoy something warm/cold to drink. Plus, the staff there are extremely personable and will want to learn your name. Such a beautiful space. Highly recommend! (And they have pumpernickel bagels--my favorite!)

I love coming here for coffee. So many options so little time. My only complaint is that is can get so busy, it loses its chill, calm coffee house vibes the moment a long line forms out of the door. Dare I say, they need a new location to hold this amazing business?

Love some of the house blend and roasted coffee. Amazing selection of all kinds of coffee and desserts. The cupcakes where amazing. It has a cozy chiche feel to it. They have wifi available, plenty of seating, and charging spots for laptops cell phones and tablets. The staff are helpful and friendly. Would recommend to novice or seasoned coffee drinkers as well as hipsters to older people

I have this this to say about The Caffeinery: in all my travel which includes large US cities and countries around the world, this place is hands down the best. The coffee is delicious and the staff is awesome! Now, when I say delicious I mean its the most delicious coffee Ive ever had. (If you were curious, Opening Bell Coffee in Dallas, TX is #2)

An excellent alternative to big chain gourmet coffee shops in Muncie. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The service was appropriately quick for a coffee shop (they take enough time to know they are making something not just putting from a container, but they are prompt). Three coffee was good. Definitely a better than Starbucks experience.

In terms of quality, no where compares in East Central Indiana. The traditional coffee drinks, speciality espresso drinks, and everything in between are always top notch. O, and the bagels are pretty great as well.

Super cute place! Prices comparable to Starbucks and you get to support a local business. The nutter butter latte (I dont remember exactly what its called) is delicious but if you dont like sweet things probably get something else.

Nice place for a quick stop or to spend a day at working on stuff. Their drinks are great too. Great atmosphere. Would be great to have more of these type of coffee shops around as Starbucks is a bit too standardized and doesnt give you a feel for comfort and aesthetic of a coffee shop.

The Caffeinery is a little hipster coffee shop downtown. Its a great place to grab a drink and a pastry and just chill out. There is a good vibe, a friendly staff and some decent drinks! Its a great place to just relax, catch up on some work or meet with some friends or clients.

Ive been to coffee shops all over the US and Europe, and I can honestly say that the Caffeinery serves my favorite coffee. Its a tad pricey because the drinks really are amazing, but I love the atmosphere and wide space for seating. Definitely an amazing addition for Muncie!

Its your local coffee house. Is it a little pretentious? Yes. But if you want truck stop coffee go to a truck stop. They know what theyre doing and they treat the customer good. Ill be back for sure.
