We bought a dryer a few years back from Townsend and had a great experience. It was making a loud noise and they were able to come the next business day to look at it! Great service! The owner came back on his day off to be sure we were taken care of! Thank you!

Tried to get my refrigerator that I bought from them serviced, it went out and the ice machine had flooded the kitchen..an emergecy, and they said it would take 2 weeks to get someone out and I live right here in new castle . Myers sent someone the same day. They sold my grandmother a refrigerator that the delivery men couldnt get to fit in her front door and had to take back and still tried to charge her a service fee. They tried to double charge me a service fee for my washer and dryer I recently bought off them. I have been buying off them for years so has my family. i have an oven, a refridgerator and my second set of washer and dryer from them ( the first set only lasted 4 years by the way). In the past year it has only been bad experiences. Customer service is awful. I will never bring my business here again

Being a first time customer my experience was great. Although I have a Samsung washer and drier and they said they do not service on Samsung. They decided to go ahead and replace my heating element for my drier.I can not thank them enough for doing this for me!Also Jerry the repair man was very pleasant to have service my drier and told me more about my drier what typically will go out and how to also do preventive maintenance on my drier.I will definitely be giving them more of my business and I highly recommend them for your appliance needs!

Initially we only needed to update our water softener system in our home, which was installed timely and the technicians even ran a more efficient hose line. We also inquired about our refrigerator being serviced but found that they had quality appliances at an excellent price and they were able to find one that fit our needs. I could not be more impressed with the quality of product and customer service that I received. Our refrigerator was on the fritz and Jerry and his team were able to help me find the perfect replacement refrigerator. I was able to deal with the owner Jerry and his wife Kim. Both were very kind and not pushy at all. I bet we looked at every refrigerator Jerry had before I picked the one out that we wanted. I was able to have the new refrigerator delivered the next day. I am making this post for my sister, Joyce Rossman, who does not have a computer. Joyce had purchased a washer and stove several years ago from Rust Appliances which later became Townsend Appliances. Then in 2017 she had a house fire and lost everything. Kim and Jerry were able to look up the cost of her appliances for insurance purposes. Then they spent time with her showing her similar appliances to purchase so insurance would take care of the cost. Since she purchased all of her appliances with Townsend, they gave a discount and delivered at the time she was ready for the appliances. The servicemen were polite and efficient. Both Joyce and I will purchase again from Townsend when the need arises!

My review is based on their customer service, as I was never able to receive their service. We needed our gas range services as we were having intermittent heating issues with it. I called to make an appointment with this company after reviewing several local companies. The reviews were good, so when I called to make an appointment and she told me that scheduling was a week out, my husband and I were willing to forgo other companies and wait for their service. The day before the appointment, I received a call. The woman said they were cancelling my appointment and wanted to refer us to someone else. I asked what the reason was for them canceling, to which she replied “we are really busy and have a full schedule.” Mind you, WE HAD A CONFIRMED, SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. The real reason that they cancelled our appointment is that we own an IKEA gas range. Now, I’m fine if a company is unwilling or unable to service certain brands, but I asked prior to the appointment if this was something they could do. The secretary told me before making an appointment that she needed to check with the technician and call me back. She called back and said it would be fine and they scheduled my appointment for the following week. Here’s the deal, if you couldn’t service it or were unable to, then say that upfront. I wouldn’t have wasted a week without being able to use my stove. Second of all, don’t use the excuse that “we have a full schedule”, when part of your schedule is the appointment that you confirmed with me. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this was handled so poorly and without any consideration for us.

I want to start by saying I wish I could give them more than five stars! The people here are so nice and very helpful. I came in today because the heating element went out on my dryer and they went above and beyond to help me. They cleaned the housing that element sits in for me and made sure the thermostats were working as they should. They even went ahead and changed the element for me, which is way more than I would have expected them to do. Anytime I have an issue with one of our appliances this is where I’ll be going.

You would probably make a ton of more business if you would simply put the price in the items without having to know all our information to get it. Its either a certain price or not. Ive never come across a site that pretty much needs a backdoor key...so to speak...just to get the price of the item. Its very vexing which has made me completely look elsewhere. Sorry. Looks like you have good product but just not a professional way to conduct business. Ive been in this type of business before and if the customers have to fill their life stories just to get the price of the merchandise.....its really childs play. When people look things like this up...like myself...I need a price immediately. Not a game of ring around the rosy. Not putting u down. Just saying....you definitely need to do very different things if u want this to keep going.

There are the best people in the whole world. We have bought a used stove and a used dryer and they work great. Yesterday they put in a water softner and it works great. The gentleman that put it in was very polite and made sure we knew what he was doing and why he was doing it. Love this company.
