Came out to New Milford to hang with some friends and we found our way to Barrel & Brew Craft Bar… first off, the vibes are everything— the staff is amazing and the drinks are fire— the food was amazing, a bit cold by the time it came out but even so couldn’t help but enjoy every single bite.For apps we had empanadas, chicharrón, wings, coconut shrimp and the garlic shrimps— we shared and every single bite was worth it. Entree I had me the ribeye steak which I couldn’t even finish cause it was HUGE… but def leaving fully satisfied.Oh and did I mention that halfway through our meal… a live band pulled up.I would have given 4 stars as there is always room for growth however, between the band and the staff was which was so kind, generous and extremely attentive. To top it off, we had a chance to meet Albert the owner who stopped by our table to check in with us and tell us what was good— it made me feel all special!Great good, great vibes and amazing food.A Bronx Foodie,Rudy

I Came here and did some outdoor dinning on a Friday night. I have to say that the place was definitely covid friendly. They had spaced out tables staff was wearing masks and gloves the whole time. They had some really good music playing and honestly it was a whole vibe there. We went inside first before the outdoor table was ready. The inside was really nice with a live DJ which was keeping the place very vibrant. This is def a nice date night place if you are not in a rush. The service was not good. I know that the place was packed but the service we experienced was not good. We ordered drinks only to be told three different beers we ordered they did not have. The menu is not up to date. The servers did take a while to attend to us when we sat outside because we were out of site our of mind. I had to call over the staff multiple times to order food and drinks. It was a nice place for the vibe dont get my wrong. But the service was so bad that it frustrates me and my group.

Amazing food all around -- from the fries to the burgers to the ribs! Liquor store has some great selections as well! Cannot recommend enough! Can definitely see this place getting BUSY on weekends considering DJs booked and the general speakeasy vibe, so keep that in mind.

Celebrated my birthday here, what a blast !!! Food is delicious, drinks are tasty, and the service is wonderful! Our server was Justin, super sweet guy and very attentive to my guests and their needs. The bartender was also very sweet and made excellent drinks. Went back a second time for dinner and again Barrel & Brew didnt disappoint !

I have to say I love the vibe here! You would never think of a place like this in New Milford NJ. The food is delicious and well presented. The staff is incredibly friendly and so is the chef. Great cocktails and awesome music both with the DJ and live vocalists. Great place for a date night! My husband and I went twice and we will certainly go again!

Came in for a quick drink after a long flight on a Wednesday night. Per the web, they close at 2am. Per the hours posted outside on the bar, they close at 12am. I arrived at 11:35pm and was told that they were closed. When I told the owner JorgeIvan that this was not a good first impression, he said that he can live with it. What huge turn off! If this is how he expects to run a business, it will not last. I will not return.

Two stars because of the deceitful 20% service charge hidden in their receipts in the line items. They then a suggested tip amount as well at the bottom of the check like normal restaurants, but with suggested amounts of 20/30/40%.I am sure many people are not noticing the hidden line of service charge and in turn are tipping 40+%Management needs to fix this.I went with a date, so just two of us. It was not table of 6+.The food was fine, and our server was actually very nice, so no complaints there. Just very poor business practices on the check.

The Atmosphere is great restoration hardware meets date night sexy. Guacamole is tasty.. Blackbean burger is good. The bad bunny drinks are amazing. This is definitely a place ill take all my bumble dates or suggest it in the future.

This place is great. They renovated it and did a great job. Food is great and service as well. Live music is a plus!

Went today with a friend to attempt to get lunch. After standing by the hostess stand for a little under 10 mins. The hostess came from outside the door. Greeted us and proceeded to get a table ready for us. As she was getting the table ready another gentleman approached us and informed us we would not be able to place a food order for at least 30 mins as they were in the middle of switching the kitchen over from brunch to dinner. Why didn’t the hostess inform us of this? We then asked about this policy and her why she didn’t inform us of this because we had been standing there waiting & she proceeded to not only argue with us but follow us outside (after deciding not to stay because we didn’t want to wait an hour to eat).Totally unprofessional & I would never return.

Havent been in since the new renovation, until today. What a beautiful place!! I had to try something on the new food menu because everything looked so good. 😋 I had the Empanads... one of each, they were AMAZING! Crust was flaky and buttery the inside was STUFFED with beef, chicken and cheese an spinach...... BUT the chimmichuri sauce, well i could put that on ANYTHING!

I have been coming to this liquor store and bar for the past couple of years and I am always more than satisfied with the service I receive. The employees are always extremely helpful and kind, the prices are reasonable, and the selection is great. The delivery service is so fast. Also, the bar has great entertainment as well as seasonal cocktails which are delicious! 5 stars :-)

Nice place. Ok service. They sent the wrong cocktail and no offer to replace it. Food was cold. Burgers were not medium rare as ordered and mold was found in our water carafe…the empanadas were awesome tho!

They have true craft cocktails and craft beer. What a difference from the bar and store that used to be here. The employees are always helpful and super friendly. They’ve great job providing service for their neighborhood during these tough times and now that the patio is open I can’t wait to try the new cocktail list!

Came in the other day after signing my divorce papers and the bartender Sarah absolutely made my day. Her service was warm, attentative, and personable. Not to mention the cocktails were fantastic!! Bought a bottle in the liquor store afterwards and the store clerk was very helpful in picking out the perfect wine. Absolutely love this place and can’t wait to come back!!

Easily my favorite spot when I visit from Florida! The ambience is fantastic and their beer selection is like no other. I am a big fan of craft beers and they never disappoint. With DJs, live music and weekly entertainment you with definitely have a great time.

Came in today to buy Triple Sec and Simple Syrup and a boy behind the counter was rolling his eyes at me inquiring if they had it. He was extremely rude to me. And he wasn’t properly wearing a mask and touching his face, bottles, and money. Absolutely disgusting. Do not come here if u value your health I’m sure covid 19 is there because of him. Bad customer service too.

I eat here a lot since I work nearby. I got to say their service is always awesome and they keep the place well kept constantly. Prices are affordable and they serve generous portions.

Dropped in on a friday night, the ambiance was nice, wasnt too crowded. it had a speakeasy feel. excellent live music act (Steven Connolly), i was really impressed with the cocktails, i had about 4, favorite was the Smokie Sunrise. the beer list was also clearly put together by someone who knows what they are doing; impressive. The Black Dog Charcuterie Board stole the show though, maybe best charcuterie board ive ever seen. Would 100% go back, what a hidden gem of a place!
