I have had several experiences with their shop relating to bike assembly and repair issues. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Very helpful and courteous plus their work is top-notch, timely, and reasonable. On my last visit Cody gave me a very thorough demonstration of how to change the tube in my rear tire without screwing my bike up too much!! It was much appreciated!! Will always do business with this establishment.

They are wonderful and so professional there at Downtown Cycles. I haven’t been in awhile and need to have my bike tuned up. But my husband and I both appreciate this local bike shop.

Got a great used bike from these gentlemen. I had gone to Walmart, and Target. I could not believe how shabbily those bikes were put together, paid a little more and got a much better bike along with great customer service.

I cant rave enough about this bike shop. Cody took care of me and gave me a great price to do some modifications to my bike. If you are looking for people that know about bikes this is the place for you.

These guys were great! I brought in my busted front wheel and they got a replacement made up immediately! We bought a helmet for my kid and they gave us a bunch of stickers and extra padding! Awesome guys!

Took my sons mountain bike to have the tires fixed. One had popped and the other had a leak and the wheel had fallen off the rim. I had called and asked when I could bring it by and they told me today so I dropped it off. Less than 24 hours later they had called and told me it was fixed and I could pick it up any time. First time ever going to Downtown Cycles but they were all extremely friendly and awesome to work with even if it was something simple. I will always call them first if I need anything. Just was a great experience and will definitely recommend to anyone.

Great shop! Both of thd guys there were knowledgeable and helpful. They had what I was looking for and were nit bike snobs, I was getting stuff for a vintage bike and then treated me the same as if I was buying a high end bike. I will definitely go back to this shop!

Great staff that actually know what the @#$% they are doing and actually have bmx related items and they actually care about stocking bmx stuff as well as mtb stuff so that they cover all bicycling that matters and its honestly that good old local shop vibe that pretty much all other bike shops in central ohio lack except one other and these shops are a breed all their own and need to be supported so that they dont die and let the other shops that only care bout u if u spend 10k with them SERIOUSLY THIS SHOP IS GREAT, GREAT PRODUCTS, GREAT STAFF, GREAT TECHS THAT GET THINGS DONE AND DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME .....IF UR STILL SETTING THERE READING THIS AND HAVENT HIT THE DIRECTION ICON TO BRING UP THE ROUTE TO DOWNTOWN YET NO ONE CAN HELP U OR UR BIKE .....THEY ARE AWESOME!

Helpful and kind repair people with parts and expertise. Nice variety of new bikes too. They had all the parts I needed. I got inner tubes, brake lights, brake pads(multiple kinds), and a kick stand. Reasonably priced.

Great place. The staff is awesome, knowledgeable and friendly. I bought my son a bike for his birthday a few weeks before his actual birthday. I took the bike in on his birthday to get some differ colored tires. The guys heard us talking about his bday and hooked my son up with a hat, some stickers, and a few other things. Im a customer for life. Dont go anywhere else. These guys are the best hands down.

I’ve been coming here for maintenance on my box store bike for a few years and they’re always top notch people. Went in for another issue during the pandemic and we were chatting about a leftover Raleigh they had for awhile. Wanted to support these guys and they cut me a great deal and threw some stuff in on top, just because.They even swapped out my pedals for me to accommodate my flipper like feet on the house at their suggestion. Was a very chill experience and I couldn’t be happier with the bike or service. Support this local business!

The staff here is absolutly the best! They are friendly, helpful and very willing to work with you. They really listen. Specifically, they swapped out a hand brake for a special needs hand brake at no cost. When I was looking for a low cost bike rack, they offered a couple of used alternatives. I choose one and they installed it for me to make sure it worked correctly. Prices are also very good.

They have a good way of showing you bikes and recommending what they think would work for you.

Excellent local bike shop. Take the time to get around the construction to get to them. We need more local businesses like this. If you do not see what you are looking for, dont just walk out of the store. ASK for it, these guys are ninjas and can get anything.

Not only did they fix multiple mistakes another shop made on my Surly Ogre, they found me one of my dream bikes for a lower price than I have found anywhere else. Cody, Jutt, and John will go above and beyond to ensure that you have the best experience possible. If they dont have what youre looking for in store than they more than likely can order it in for you. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone from a beginer looking for there first bike to an experienced Rider. Luckily I live close but I would go out of my way to take my bikes here if i had to just for the customer service!!
