Hidden gem. Patrick knows his stuff and you can tell the man has a passion for anything with two wheels: ebikes, escooters, regular bikes, fat bikes, road, bikes, kids bikes, mountain bikes... you name it. I went in for simply bar tape but left wanting to stay there longer despite the current situation. Loved the place

I feel very grateful to have found this Bike Community Center Shop, in my search to fix a flat tire on my electronic bicycle. Patrick & Derrick, they were very professional technically, as well as very informative and friendly.Service of this quality is really hard to find. Their store and workshop are very optimally organized, and they have a well developed repair equipment, as well as a variety of bicycles and repair parts.I definitely suggest & recommend their service and politeness. For sureIll be back there for any bikes issues without hesitation.

The worst place. You call for do appointment because I understand they have work but tell me 20 days for a simple repair its unbelievable this guys dont like work put other business.

I had an amazing experience at the Newark Cycling Center. Steven was very helpful and went above and beyond in fixing the brakes on my bike, and was kind enough to give some helpful bike maintenance tips. I would have no second thoughts in recommending this store for to anyone who is need of some help with fixing their bikes (they even sell new and used ones) for good value for their money.

We were very poorly attended in this store, both on the phone and in person, on the phone they wouldnt let me finish talking so my son went to fix his bike at the store, more than three hours waiting, they tidied up a bit and left, went back and left, left him forgotten in the store without information, when i called the same rude person said they usually ask p to come back to a person later.What? Why didnt they speak when he arrived? He works with the bike, they should talk soon. Note And he also hung up on me,

Im so glad that Derrick and Patrick opened this shop in the Newark Community. People one the area need to know that theyre is a place that they can cycle with friends and try something new. They have opened their doors inviting everyone in, no matter your riding level. Wride together as a group and no one is left behind. I will be riding with them as often as I can!

The shop owners were very professional with what they do. And do not overcharge! Good place if you want a bike or want to fix a bike. They do take walk-in.

Hands down best bike shop in newark

I came in with a bike that I haven’t used in 4+ years. It was missing left crank arm and bike pedal, but they fixed it up at a reasonable price. The people are friendly.

I been twice in this place. I deal with Patrick both times. What a such a nice guy. Friendly, knowledgeable about bycicles and very helpful. One thing about the building. It looks like a church.

I was in a jam, had broken my rear shifter cable and would have had a laborious ride back to Staten Island without it. They were really busy and at first werent sure that they could install the cable for me same day. But (I guess since they knew I was in a jam) they fixed it right away. The mechanic even held my bike up so I could untangle my backpack strap from the wheel hub. This is a really really nice bunch of people. Color me ecstatic to have been so lucky to have experienced my breakdown in the vicinity of Newark Community Cycling Center.

I went here to get my gfs bike serviced. They noticed my front brake cable was on wrong and fixed it at no charge, allowing me to keep riding safely. Thx guys!
