I have bought a few guns from them in the past few months. Their customer service is by far the best. As soon as you walk in they make you feel welcome, even if this is your 1st gun or 500th. Will continue to go back.

These guys are top notch!!Always attention to detail and truly care about your firearm buying experience. So much knowledge and willing to answer any of your questions.Mason is great along with all the seasoned vets they have working at American Sportsman. Granted there hours are 2pm to 7pm Monday through Friday, I believe. Its well worth it and I find there firearms are at least $100 to $150 lesser than other gun stores that are in a 10 mile radius. Most slept on gun store in these parts of Delaware!I will be buying all my guns and ammo from them from now on.

Went in about a week or so ago to purchase a firearm. Ive shot before and have my hunting license, so Ive been around guns before but Im still definitely new and not as knowledgable as Id like to be. The guys here were fantastic. I originally chose this shop because of all the great reviews about the place not being intimidating and everyone inside being friendly. When I walked in, every person behind the counter introduced themselves immediately, and even another customer did! It instantly felt like I was part of the regular crowd. We went for training for concealed carry and the training was outstanding. Much training was given to personal choice and how to chose a weapon that is personally suited. The atmosphere was congenial and nonjudgmental. We felt very comfortable. The instructor was very knowledgeable and showed us options for training we were unaware of. We highly recommend them.

Went to visit American Sportsman on a recommendation of a friend. The shop is very close to my home, which made it very convenient. Everyone that works at the store are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I have since bought a 1911, Ruger Wrangler, and a couple of magazines….I couldn’t be happier with my experience. This gun store is not your typical shop, they go way beyond was is expected and there is no intimidation factor at all! I definitely making American Sportsman my first stop when shopping for a firearm!

Going to a gun store can be daunting. Especially for the first time buyer. I can’t count how many times going into most other gun stores the staff always seems angry and short toward you. Making a situation already filled with nerves even worse. But at American sportsman. The staff is professional, Insanely friendly, and actually work to guide you to the proper firearm in your budget. As well as take the time to show you the basics such as operating the firearm safely and properly or how to take down and clean it. Lastly they are very honest and tell you pros and cons about any firearm so you don’t feel your gettin sold something just for the sake of making a sale. Its the best firearm buying experience around this area and they happen to have some of the fairer prices around as well. I won’t go anywhere else. Was very easy and helpful from start to finish. Ordered my gun and had it delivered to a shop near me. They help when I thought it might have gotten lost by showing me when it should be delivered. The transaction over the phone was also very good Greg was extreamly helpfully and knowledgeable.

The guys are great. And really good with customers. Talked to you and offered options. But their pricing is not cool. Ammo was double that of Cabelas for 20 rounds 9mm luger ammo. There was a Sig Sauger P365 new that was $100 more than other retailers. But the other places didnt have it in stock. 2 weeks later Cabelas had it in stock for 499. Disclaimer I dont know much about variables in guns or ammo. But I do believe double is high. Im a consumer I pay attention to pricing. I also dont like that you cant return a holster. I brought a holster I simply dont like. It sticks to my clothes and its hard to pull out the gun. My gun is was 479 and 469 at other retailers I paid 489. So I wasnt too upset about that. I believe in supporting smaller companies. But dont want to pay a whole lot more. I went to Cabelas got 40 rounds of 9mm ammo for 30 bucks same price I paid for 20 there. Will I go back certainly. But Ill be a lil more versed.

Me and my father having a day out in Delaware and we decided to go to the gun show. We spent maybe about an hour or two there and I came across the one table. The people were nice and courteous. Even joked around with them for a few a little bit. Coming up with scenarios on how I was going to get my new toy into the house without my girl knowing. The item I bought was in great condition, the guy who talked me into it was extremely polite and the ladies who processed all my paperwork were amazing. I will definitely be going back to buy more products from them. The only thing they didnt tell me is that the item I bought from them is very hard to find the ammo in the caliber for that rifle. Even then Id still recommend them

These guys are great. Bought my first guns in early November and they offered them at Glocks list price. Some of the other gun shops were charging about 10% over MSRP due to the limited availability but these guys did not. They are a very discrete small shop on the second floor of Meadowood shopping center. Everytime I have been there, I find a good number of patrons who have discovered this little gem.

Their price for the firearm I purchased was cheaper than the big box stores so that was a plus.
