My freezer is broken, Sears can not come out until October 5th. Have another repair guy coming Monday...meanwhile my food is defrosting fast! Miss DARLENE IS AWESOME!!! She hooked me up with a rental freezer & has it set up to deliver tomorrow after searching for one. She went the extra mile to understand my situation, solve my problem & have it delivered so fast...on a Saturday! THANK YOU MISS DARLENE! YOU ROCK GIRLFRIEND!

Went to buy a ps4 or a Xbox system and the new girl manager was awesome. She got me a great deal and was always friendly and honest with me. I dig the honesty and will be definitely recommending this spot to my family and friends. Was worried because of past reviews but this store is nothing like that. It’s clean and good variety of stuff. 👍

At first very helpful. Fast forward 9 months. Not so helpful. Called to pay off my account and was even the run around. Telling me I had to go in person to pay off the account. After explaining I was no longer in CA, they wanted me to mail a money order in. Asked for a manager and was even the run around. The Ast. Manager even told me to be quite. Poor customer service. Thought they would be happy I was paying off my account during to COVID thing. Someone from higher HQ needs to replace those managers.

I Known these team of people for years...more than employees to customers, they have become family. They are willing to that extra mile for you ❤

Horrible customer service. The manager called, cursed, and hung up on me. Fortunately I have call recorder app and screenshots to prove it. Due to loss of income, they have been calling me regularly about my account which has been about 2 weeks past due for a few months now. I told them, Id return the merchandise as soon as I get back to california because I knew I could no longer afford it. Once I returned it they said it was damaged and I had to continue to pay for it. I refused because it a rental furniture, you know its not coming back brand new. Then the call and says I can pay $400 and pick up the merchandise. Im like no. Im broke. They still call my phone and hang up ever day or so. Again, I have proof. Dont do business with them. Especially, the manager. He is really hateful and rude. Likes to curse and claim ownership of the store.

My business has used Oceanside Rental Service on several occasions and I have been delighted with their service All employees have been very courteous and efficient All good experiences We will use them again

It would not let me put a negative star on there it made me put one star or I couldnt continue with my review. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.I agree with the past reviews here about this Rent a Center.I am a single mother who lost ALL OF OUR FURNITURE AND BELONGINGS twice mind you not once but twice in 2 different locations due to black mold the deadliest both of them.Every single clothing item and anything in that house had to be professionally destroyed. I went to Mor furniture and I went to Ashley furniture and got on the Acceptance Now program.where I never missed a payment.I do not have the luxury of going out and buying all new clothes all new furniture and rent a new Apartment pay 1st and last months rent so when it got transferred over to Rent A Centerbecause they no longer exists.Without my ability to have any co trolls it went to Rent A Center in Oceanside.Apparently they took it over. I have been harassed THREATENED IF I DO NOT PAY $500 NOW AND FROM NOW ON THERE WILL BE CONSEQUENCES! every single month constantly by Terence he says hes the owner!I spoke with another gentleman there I work for the state I submit my time sheet on the 1st and 16th then it goes into process I get my check if Im lucky it wont fall on the weekend when I put it in so I dont know what day I get my check after they acknowledge it they are very quick as they can be but theyre closed on holidays and weekends. So a kind gentleman their adjusted it so when I get my check I called him in the morning and I pay the $500 that he split to to 40 and I have never ever missed and I call in the morning every single time I get my paycheck.But today I will warn each and every one of you do not go there what he did to me has me in tears I am doing the best that I can I have never missed I am not in collections Im trying to get mine and my sons life back but to be talk to and harassed from 8 oclock in the morning until 9 oclock at night arguing over the same thing this Terrance should not be working there!and if you have a situation that youre trying to get out of were things that have happened to you and put you in a situation that has caused a hardship?DO NOT GO TO THIS RENT A CENTER EVER!NO APPRECIATION FOR THOSE WHO TRY EVERY MONTH NEVER MISSING A PAYMENT...TO BE DEGRADED AND THREATENED.I will be reporting to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.PLEASE... We all costs through hard times and are so lot of good people who try every month dont put yourself to what theyre putting me through no one deserves that.

Spoke to Melissa around 10 this morning about pricing on two bedroom sets, she said she would call me back in a few with the price and she never did. I called back at 1pm spoke to some guy indicating he was in charge then he put me on hold and never returned. I would not recommend this place to do business with.
