My friend wanted to get a good quality coffee and we arrived here. Sadly, due to COVID lockdowns, they have stopped their barista services, but Eric Medina kindly made us a cup of coffee. Very friendly and inviting and its no wonder why Libra Coffee provides quality products and help those in need by donating $1 with every subscription to buy water filters for those around the world who do not have a fresh water source. Very friendly and supportive to the Military and wish the very best for this company!!!

Bought a bag of Kenya, one of my favorite espresso shots I’ve had. I’m constantly smelling this delicious coffee roasting as I work next door and was so excited to try it. Finally the day came and it was worth the wait. Heard the owner is opening up the store front to a coffee shop soon and can’t wait for that to be my new go to spot. Easily five stars 👌

Had a great experience here, Erik was wonderful to chat about coffee with and extremely hospitable. It was clear that he puts a lot of care and expertise into sourcing and roasting coffee to provide a great experience for his customers. If you are looking to visit try giving them a call first, but even if you arent in the area they do have a great subscription service for their beans. Will definitely come back and visit when I travel back to the area.

Such a must-see coffee house! Quality coffee, roasted and served under 1 roof. If you are into the rustic, craft brewery scene, this is the coffee version of that. Ask for a quick tour of the roasting process and you wont be disappointed. Amazing!

We stopped by a week ago and snagged a bag of freshly roasted coffee. The owner was very nice and sold us a bag even though they are not open to the public. I would recommend messaging or calling to see if they are open before stopping by. I believe you can also order coffee in their website. We will definitely stop by again when we are back in town.

Awesome coffee, great people, and an amazing cause!We switched over from our amazon coffee subscription and started using Libra Coffee at our restaurant downtown and the guests really noticed!They do a great job roasting the beans, and offer a few different flavors from different areas of the world.They also give back clean water to the countries in which they source from which makes you feel good about what you’re enjoying.

Without a doubt the best roaster in North County. Beans are fresh and always make an exceptional espresso. They know what they are doing and are super cool. Highly highly recommend. Being a local roaster only makes it that much better. 10 stars Libra! ☕️😋

I love Libra!! From the second you walk in the door you feel welcomed. I spoke to Eric, who’s the owner. He’s super knowledgeable about his coffee and the roasting process. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does. He took me on a little tour where he showed me how he sources and roasts the beans. His barista ended up making me a latte with oat milk. I love that they have milk alternatives (oat and almond)! Latte was hands down the most amazing one I’ve had in ages and I consider myself pretty fluent in all things coffee. I’ll definitely be coming back!!

Good coffee. Cool spot. Cool people. Check it out. Its not a full-fledged coffee shop (not yet anyway as of December 2019) so keep your expectations in check. But check it out. Lets call it authentic and rustic, as another reviewer described it.

Great place to taste some high-end, rare coffees at an affordable price. Owner is very friendly and helpful, and willing to chat with people that have questions about the roasting / brewing of coffee! The music is very chill and played on old vintage radios, definitely a place Id like to visit again soon.

2 of my friends mentioned Libra Coffee to me but I never had the chance to check out what they were so excited about.This week I stopped by and had the dark roast coffee, it was so good. Eric was so nice and friendly and explained about the different types of coffee. I left the shop with two bags and I have been enjoying them every morning.

Unbelievable beans. Beneficial cause. I love what Libra has going on. First and foremost, the coffee is roasted well. It tastes great. Bottom line. Weve all been drinking coffee for long enough to know what Im talking about - you can tell when youre having something thats quality. And Ive only had the Pourtables to this date. Its just good. And the cause just amps up the enjoyment. When you know the heart of a company is in the right place, it somehow adds to the quality of the product for me. Keep it up Libra. I look forward to checking out the shop in person soon.

I heard about Libra through some friends in Encinitas and stopped in to the roaster to check it out. Its a cool experience to hang out and talk about the coffee youre drinking☕. Theres way more to know than I ever realized and the owners story is really interesting. I subscribed to the bean deliveries, which has been awesome- I love having fresh beans arrive at my doorstep. Libras whole vibe is great, the coffee is amazing and I really love that they give back! 👍

Love this coffee! I’m obsessed with their Pourtables....for travel and work. Love giving these as gifts, too. The coffee from Ethiopia and Colombia is delicious and there’s a great cause behind it all. Easy online ordering and quick response by the team when I had questions. Hope to make it to the shop next visit to Cali. Looks like a cool, relaxing spot to enjoy coffee.

This is definitely a little so cal secret spot to get local coffee. I found this through a friend that’s obsessed with coffee and sustainability. There’s a little coffee shop inside the place where they roast the beans so it’s really fresh coffee. It’s almost like a brewery vibe but for coffee. The owner there even talked us through the process of roasting so I ended up learning so much. I’m not a huge coffee drinker but I stop by every once in awhile now and grab a cup and a bag of beans for the office.

I work right around the corner. Love being able to walk right in and grab a quick cup of coffee. Eric and staff are so friendly and welcoming! Coffee is fresh and delicious. Go support this local business, It’s so worth it! 😍😬

What a find! I just happened upon Eric and his hidden treasure (If you blink, you may miss it!) and so glad I did! Beans roasted right on the premises means you can really taste the difference. Once you try it you’ll ditch that ‘mermaid’ in a flash!

This is REAL coffee. It’s rare that you get a chance to buy a bag of beans straight out of the roaster.The drip coffee is easily the best in Oceanside, if not in San Diego. Good cappuccinos and lattes, too.

Was on my way to another coffee shop in Oceanside when I found Libra Coffee. Spoke with the owner Eric, he was very helpful as his barista happened to step out for a minute. I ordered a pour over while he was roasting a batch of coffee and was more than capable of handling both tasks. (Impressive)My Ethiopian coffee was very delicious, fruity with a good amount of body.I will definitely be coming back for another pour over.

I stopped in for a fresh bag of organic beans and after talking with the nice owner over an espresso I picked up some of their portables for our camping trip! Highly recommend you try em out.

Excellent coffee in a great location because its close to my work! If youre in the area you really need to stop by and have a drink. The prices are more than fair and the employees are pretty cool! Hopefully soon theyll be open everyday and it would be cool if they had a man cave in the back where they serve whiskey!!!

I mostly know Libra coffee from their excellent subscription service. Fresh roasted beans delivered on a regular basis makes for a fantastic cup of coffee that is really a cut above stuff you buy at the supermarket.They also make a really cool portable coffee that you use sort of like a how you might brew tea. Super easy to use and so far works great for when you are on the go.

Pourtables by Libra Coffee are my new favorite coffee when I’m on the go. Libra has a unique flavor profile that I cant find anywhere else. I also manage to keep a batch of Pourtables in our conference room so I can offer our guests a fresh pour over. Its great for large groups without messing with a machine that brews one cup at a time.
