If you like low prices this is the place to go to I mean pay 49 sense for a can of carrots or beans or other vegetables or go to the big store and pay a A dollar and 49 sense for the same thing eggs dirt cheap selection almost none The fruit and vegetable selection is pretty good and its very low priced the bad news is youve got a bag your own groceries and otherwise even live with it I mean the money your saving what the hell

I went in for a few specialty breads they make. Chocolate and vanilla brioche. So delicious. I, of course, filled my whole cart and happily bagged my groceries and enjoyed alllll of it.

Overall pretty great!They have a security system for the carts where you must insert a quarter to detach the cart from the others. Dont worry; you get that quarter back when you return the cart and reconnect it to the others (via an attached chain). They said you can ask for a quarter if you dont have one.Main downside is that its kind of small for a grocery store. (Not their fault, though; this building has been around for previous tenants.) Still, its not too small and they have a decent variety! Plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables!

Great prices on pretty much everything. You can get groceries for 2 for a week with $50.

So long as you know the checkout situation. I you dont follow the checkout routine, the clerks with boldly tell you. You will place your items on conveyor belt when instructed to do so, purchase grocery bags before completing final transaction, if you do not have your own. Bag your own and return cart to get the deposit back.

It was a very unpleasant visit for the first time there. People were not helpful to plain rude. They imposed item limitations on the check out line whilst no such limitations were stated in their weekly ad. Horrible experience!

Great prices on produces, dairy, and frozen items. Its a small store but its well stocked. If youre loyal to certain brands you may not find it here but the off brands that Ive tried have been good.

When I was shopping here they had an items price listed incorrectly and when I asked them to give me the difference in price they refused to. Also for the size of store it is, they have a really poor selection.

Amazing place for shopping. Being new to CA, we were surprised at the price of things here! And to eat well on top of that..? Pricy!! Enter ALDI. Fruits and vegetables at a fair price, organic snack options that rival the sugary or processed name brands. Our daughter has grown up on Aldi. Their version of fruit loops are organic and contain fruits and vegetables. She doesn’t no the difference and has never had a normal fruit loop. Their applesauce taste naturally sweetened as opposed to syrupy. Their meats and prepped meals are top notch and priced fair.There is no competition in Southern California. If you like to feed and take care of your family well, Aldi has all you need. Saving money and great food at a fair price is just the bonus.The checkout lines get crazy. . Not because of a lot of shoppers.. but because 1 checker works at a time.

The store has some fantastic deals and products I cant find at other stores. My problem with the store is you can not rely on them always having the things you want.

This location is well kept. Clean bathrooms. Orderly isle and timely check out times. I just wish aldis as a whole would put some kind of change machine outside for the carts

Good place to stretch your dollars, just make sure you inspect the produce good. Interesting selection of frozen item if you like to experiment with your palate and try new things. You can find some cool things in the Aldi finds aisle thats like a TJ Maxx style hunt.

I love Aldi, you always find quality and very interesting things more like a Trader Joes Market, but it doesnt have everything a regular store has such as all our brands.

My husband and I went to this Aldi for the first time today. We had never been to an Aldi store and were really looking forward to it, as one of my favorite YouTube channels shops there and gets really great deals. Our experience was terrible. Some of the negative experience was due to never having been there but, some of it was poor customer service. Having to pay $.025 to use a cart...negative. We didnt have any change so had to first go into the store to get change just to use a shopping cart. Also, when we went into the store to get change, there wasnt anyone at any of the registers and a customer was waiting with their groceries on the conveyor belt waiting to check and no one was in site.After we finally got our change to purchase the use of a shopping cart, there were no sanitary wipes in the wipe dispenser to use to clean the cart handles, the dispenser was empty. I located the clerk to inform her (this was the clerk who shouldve been at the checkout) who was stocking shelves in the produce department. She very unhappily and unenthusiastically said she would tell someone. She apparently did not because when we left the store, the dispenser was still empty.Overall, the variety of food items was poor. The prices on the items they had in stock were good, but the store is really small and there just isnt much to choose from.When we got to the checkout, again, there wasnt a clerk at the checkout. I put my items on the conveyor belt and waited for someone. Another customer came and looked at the empty checkout and looked at me with her hands up in the air as if to signal, whats up? I shrugged my shoulders to say, I dont know and we both waiting. Eventually, the same clerk who was missing earlier and was stocking shelves showed up and mumbled something to me. I asked her what she said and she repeated if you are paying with a card, you can put it in the machine. I put my credit card in the card machine and paid. She had placed all of my items in my cart, without placing them in a bag or asking me if I had bags or if I wanted a bag. I asked her, Oh, dont you put things in bags? She said, No, we dont bag for you. She continued, You can buy bags over there and put your stuff in your own bags over there while pointing to an area beyond the checkout area near the windows.The clerk never cracked a friendly smile, never had an attitude like she cared if I was a first-time customer or if I ever returned to the store again.I understand that this store has a process and that I didnt understand it but, I little but of Oh, is this your first time here? and Let me explain how this works would have made a big difference in how I perceived this store and their interest in having me as a customer. If a clerk is going to leave the checkout area, they should NEVER be out of eyesight of a customer needing to checkout. A customer should NOT have to wait to pay for their groceries and shouldnt have to search to find someone to take their money.Yes, we saved a little money but the experience wasnt worth it at all.

Low prices, eco friendly, and the smartest way to get people to return there carts. Make sure you have a quarter of your gonna buy alot. And ladies if you hose book club and want cheap wine aldi is the spot.

I was really happy when they opened an Aldi at this location. As always Aldi is great, the only down side usually are the people who shop here. If you dont want to use a quarter to borrow a shopping cart or bag your own groceries this isnt the store for you so stop complaining and move on.

Ive been in about 4 times, each a few weeks apart, each time left empty-handed. Never have what I need - dismal spice selection, no brand-name snacks, etc. Store organization is pitiful and drab - its always been a mish mash of random items on the shelves with low stock. 2 stars because they did have milk once. Just go to the albertsons thats down the road.

Only giving it 4 stars because it was a quick trip. Very clean but seemed to be on the small side for grocery stores. Only downsize, because I had never been there, didnt realize that you needed a quarter to get a grocery cart.

Good product, nice store, price reasonable, nothings bad why 1 star because not label properly set you load everything you need and surprise at the cashier they told you there is a restriction, smiles restriction is different from one person to another one call that like you want, is just frustrating. So 1 is the best for that store services.

They charge money to use their shopping carts. Why would I spend extra money just to use a shopping cart if literally all their competitors just let you use them for free? Didnt even bother to shop once I noticed that. Took my business elsewhere.

I don’t get it, Aldi.This is a small store. The produce selection is very basic. I would come here more often if they sold sprouts (like broccoli, alfalfa, radish etc) as I eat those often.Their prices for certain items as of May 28, 2020:$6.19 for 16 oz bag of pistachios; havent seen a better price than that anywhere$.59 for an avocado$2.95 for GT kombucha 16 oz, not an extensive selection of flavors but fortunately the ones i like (gingerberry and gingerade)Last I checked, they didnt carry pasture raised eggs, something I can afford to buy and refuse to eat if not pasture raised.The employees are very friendly in my experience.Its too bad they dont have everything I want because I live about 2 minutes away, but Im glad theyre there.

I have been an ALDI customer for over twenty years, 1st in Wisconsin, then Florida, and California. For the past 2 years I have made a twice monthly, 25 mile pilgrimage to Vista, just to shop and save. How exciting to learn Oceanside was finally opening. However, it is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!Management has made several mistakes, which could be fatal to this location if not corrected pronto.1. Store layout is completely different, which is confusing to regular customers.2. Walk thru the door directly into the produce isle, which displays rotten fruit and veggies. When I found an employee, they said fresh produce was in the storeroom, but, the manager said not to bring it out until the others were sold!!!3. Items are priced higher than the Vista store and some items more than Walmart....why???4. Less isles = much less variety of product offered. Again, an employee told me they were waiting to see what people liked. ALDI has product tracking from all locations, testing is not needed. Customers are talking, saying this location is a total waste of time. Our favorite ALDI products cannot be found here.5. Christmas weekend.....many shelves empty, product sold out....WHO EVER MANAGES THIS STORE IS DOING A VERY POOR JOB!!!
