The staff is so friendly, and our drinks were great. The establishment was very dirty. Dog hair everywhere, sticky bathroom floors, chairs and tables. We left quickly. However, I would definitely do takeout from here because they know how to make good drinks.

This place was packed, both drive through and inside. I went inside to order seeing the drive through line. About 15 minute wait from order to receiving coffee. Taste always dependable.

I frequent many Starbucks locations across the country. I am here to say, that this location is one of the best. Even through staff transitions, this teams understands the importance of great drinks, great service, and a high functioning facility. The manager here truly does a great job preparing his team for the hustle and bustle of mornings and lunch rushes as well as how to handle rude customers (Ive seen it often) as well as appreciating its regulars. Salute to this location. You should visit.

Other Starbucks in the area can get hazel nut and other flavors but this one cant. The drive through is set up that you cant pull away if you dont want to order. Had to wait 7 minutes just get leave

3pm on a Sunday. Was not overly busy. Rushed staff and dirty bathroom, you could see that food and drink had been spilled and not cleaned. When I was handed my cup it was a little wet from a different drink the barista had made. The staff needs to be trained on food safety.

Great customer service! I just ordered two things and the man working to drive through was so kind and made sure my order was correct before giving it to me. I really appreciated his kindness and attentiveness.

This Starbucks is probably my favorite location in the entire state. Service is always wonderful and my drinks are always amazing. Shoutout to Katie especially for her contagiously positive attitude. Can’t wait to come back!

The staff here is so friendly and are always working hard whenever I am in, but its always such a long wait to get your order. Sometimes when you go in theyll have a mobile order ready right away, but if youre in the drive through line its at LEAST a 15 minute wait if youre lucky, but likely closer to a 25-30 minute wait. Ive given it a few tries and always just an impossibly long wait. If youve got the time, definitely worth a stop for the friendly faces, but if you cant wait Id find another location.

Great coffee, convenient location, however I had to wait 15 minutes or so after the promised time for my mobile order. Walk in orders were prepared quicker, before mobile orders for some reason, and this is not cool. What is the point of ordering ahead then?? Makes no sense. Someone needs to look into this.

Waited 20 minutes for a complete order of just three drinks this morning. Walked inside because there were about five cars in line and figured why not. Was fine with a short wait because I saw they were busy, but then they serviced their own employees who had walked in and ordered after me. They also made my drink wrong.

Unprofessional management accompanied with inadequate staff training!It is highly unprofessional to perform staff reviews or coaching conversations in a public space. The berating of valued staff left me discontent and further shows the lack of management skills.I have been coming here for over two years, in the last year this location has experienced a very high turnover, as a result there are continuous issues with making drinks consistently to the extreme of forgetting to add shots to an $8 drink or not substituting milk causing severe intestinal pain.Not to mention the terrible customer service from some staff and management when informing them of these issues.To ensure no confusion on this review these issues exist due to poor management, staff requires adequate training and support. I am here regularly and as a person who manages 150+ staff I am infuriated watching a handful of staff stand around doing nothing and unable to solve simple problems like refilling the labels for drinks while one or two seasoned staff members run around having to do everything.Support your staff for professional and personal growth!

They’re always out of things and don’t understand basic orders. Save yourself the time and just don’t go here. The last couple times I tried, I left in a bad mood.

Excellent lattes and staff

I love Starbucks. I have gone to many different locations without having any issues. This particular store, though, has had a lot of problems.Today, I arrived in line at the drive through at 10:46 AM, and did not receive my order until 11:18 AM. I was only 3 cars away from being able to order when I arrived, but my order wasnt taken for an entire 15 minutes.I have personally been to many different Starbucks drive thrus, and I thought that with there being only a few cars in front of me, I would get my drink in a resonable amount of time. I was wrong.If you are a Starbucks fan, try a different location. The one inside of Target in Okemos and even the ones located on campus are faster and provide better service than this.

Wonderful staff!! An employee named Brandon went back and forth 3 times to find a suitable snack for my 2 year old. Lindsey is great too. Havent seen her in a while but she has the brightest smile and personality!! This is my favorite location for sure!!

Whoever is working today 2/23/2020 @5:45pm...should go back to training.Of course no name tags so I cant Express my issue on a personal level, but when I approach your counter...I shouldnt have to wait for you to finish your conversation for the next minute and a half. And then once my order is taken...you resume the same conversation instead of making my order.Im not trying to be a snitch or a uppity person...but I typically, like most people, have a issue with people not doing their job because they are busy with their personal things.

As always I love my passion tea with lemonade from Starbucks.

The staff who works at this location are great but I would not stop here if you are in a rush. On more than one occasion I have had to wait 15 or more minutes in the drive through. This location is very slow compared to the others. Adding more staff in the mornings would help tremendously. Also be aware they run out of items quite quickly.

Everyone here is really nice, and the drinks are usually pretty good, but they tend to be a bit slower than other coffee places in the morning which sucks. Ive seen a lot of people leave the line because the wait is so long. Maybe staffing a couple extra people for morning rush would be advantageous.

Drive thru line is always wrapped around the building. I understand it gets busy but the line doesn’t move and there’s no sense of urgency from the staff to get people served in a timely manner. They also get rude when it’s busy, and ALWAYS mess up my order. All I ever get is a Vanilla Latte, never get the Vanilla. South Lansing location has none of these problems and is just as busy.

I was able to place my order through the mobile app, and walk in, pick it up, and walk out. I got their just as they finished my drink, and the barista that handed me the drink was friendly. Definitely recommend placing a mobile order, just so you dont have to wait in line.

Took awhile for my drink that they forgot about. And took 30 min. But a very kind worker asked finally if I was waiting for a drink. But as I was waiting two workers, one that took my order and another who was supposed to make drinks just take a dessert and split it and start eating it. Very disappointed in my experience.

They were well staffed. It was busy but I didnt have to wait long to be served. It was a relaxed environment a little loud at my end of the store. Lots of great choices on the menu.

Still waiting in line after 50 minutes for a coffee. Very very very slow. I was late for work. Do NOT come to this location for drinks. Employees are VERY slow.

Weve been going to this shop for years. Convenient off the highway with a drive thru window. Service has always been good. Lots of space to set and relax, but it can fill fast.

I’ve never spent less than 20 minutes in this Starbucks waiting for coffee. It always takes forever. The service is nice, but be prepared to wait.

Don’t know his name but the gentleman who was working the drive thru on the morning of June 1st 2020 deserves a raise! Me and my gf ended up coming back to this location that same evening to use their free WiFi and watch Netflix in the car, the gentlemen came out to ask if we were alright then came back 15 min later with some free goodies for the inconvenience haha. Will be back to this location for sure! Thanks :)

I do not like Starbucks in general, but I particularly do not like this one. To address this store, it is the layout. The seating area sprawls into the thin path that you have to walk through to get to the counter area. The counter area then is also a cluster where you have to walk around people waiting for their drinks in a lane barely fit for two small people to stand side by side. As for Starbucks in general, their drinks are pricier than most other coffee shops and any similar drink options have way more sugar.

Nice setup, good seating. Sweet mural on the wall. Just tried the juniper latte, wouldnt recommend it, had almost zero coffee taste. Generally like their lattes though. A bit cheaper than biggby, though usually busier too.

No music!! Got to listen to the employees complain and other customers talk about nothing. A little music (like they play at every other starbucks i have been to) would have made it a much better experience this morning. Staff was friendly and coffee was hot

I cannot say this enough about Starbucks every Starbucks restaurant that I havent gone into in the last past month has been excellent service excellent customer service experience servers that go beyond the Call of Duty that show that they really care about their job I have not had that experience at Big beads these Starbuck places are doing an amazing job and customer service and also as delivering their products they have no hesitation and changing or fixing anything when you have an issue thank you Starbucks I enjoy visiting and soliciting the restaurants in Lansing Michigan

Top notch coffee and excellent service. If you want quality drinks and folks who know their stuff, look no further than your local Starbucks. The company gets a bad rap for being such a large organization but they have thrived for good reason. It is worth nothing that people who have worked at Starbucks often wont get their coffee from anywhere else.

Location is convenient right off the I-96 Okemos Mason exit. Drink quality is consistent with other Starbucks. 3 out of 5 stars simply because periodically (maybe one of our every six or seven times) its really slow. Like oddly slow. Not sure why that might be. It has happened at different times of the day, happened when theres lots of people, and when it seems like almost no one is there? It always surprises me. Dont know why this is the case but it seems to be consistent with my experience over the last year or two at this location. The last time I planned to grab a drink (last week) was an example, there were double-digit cars in the drive thru. I just circled the building and took off. Today, I stopped by and my experience was the same as any other Starbucks... Staff is typically very nice. Its a great place for meetings because of its location.

The kids asked to go to Starbucks and I had a giftcard, so why not? We went through the drive through and had a pleasant experience, the wait was not long and the girl working the drive- up recommended drinks that were age appropriate for the kids. We will be back.

I have been to this Starbucks over 20 times. I go there when I need to keep my baby to sleep in the car. But half the time my order comes out wrong and they argue with me over it. I always order a white mocha, but half the time they make a mocha and then argue it is a white mocha. My husband orders a white mocha also and he gets something totally different than mine. Last time I ordered a white mocha Frappuccino and asked for no whip cream. The lady said, “but it comes with whipped cream.” I thought she was joking. But when the drink came out it had whip cream on top. It’s a good thing I am not allergic. Maybe it is where they train people to work at Starbucks.

This store has a real issue with accuracy. Half the time my order is wrong. The other stores don’t have this issue. Good thing it’s good coffee.

The staff is always friendly and Ive never had a compliant about the service or beverages. However, for whatever reason, there is this giant jet-engine-turbine-machine mounted directly over the door. Every time someone goes in or out of the building (pretty common activity), it activates for a few seconds. This is a bit loud and interrupts most of my deep thoughts such as Will I ever find love? How do I change the world? or What does the 2013-smash-hit-film After Earth have on Rotten Tomatoes? While I wish this machine could be deactivated, I still enjoy the service that the staff offers - even if conversation or reading is a bit challenging.

Nice servers but the coffee was old both times I been there. Not just old, but late night gas station old! This location is not as good as others Ive been to.

I have been to this location for the past 3 times, and every time I am getting hot chocolate that doesnt come CLOSE to filling the cup. Typically, I get a grande, so I wouldnt complain, but today I got a tall and its not even 3/4 full! I will not be going here again. Unexceptable.

The two stars is literally ONLY because they refunded.Heres a little tip: they will NOT tell you when they run out of something PIVOTAL to your drink and will just wing it and pray.Not happy, and will probably just be driving into East Lansing if I ever want Starbucks again.
