Great customer service!! These guys are great and they pay very fair for your gold and silver depending on the spot price that day compared to others in Omaha. Definitely one of the best in Omaha Nebraska. Some of these lower reviews I have read about DSS on 13th street have to be a joke! One review I saw was How can I buy a firearm when its behind glass and you cant handle it! What are you talking about?! This is a coin and bullion store and apparently they got butt hurt and wrote a bogus review.
It was total waste of my time and gas to get there!I have been wanting to get down for over a year and check the place out based off frequent listings they post on a third party site. I finally made it there today and it was a total disappointment.Walked in the door and all of the merchandise is behind a wall of glass. Lady on the other side says she can show me what I need through the glass, people are not allowed in at this time. WHAT A JOKE! I dont know anybody that is going to buy a firearm with only being able to look at it through the glass.Does it feel good in your hand? You cant find outPocket carry? Will it fit in your pocket? You cant find outWeight and balance? You cant find outIs the trigger mushy or crisp? You cant find outIs it used? If the answer to that is yes, just know that you cant run the slide, examine the barrel or inspect anything else to function check.Save yourself the time, almost any other option is better and worth paying a little bit more.
Went there today and Jim & Alex were some of the friendliest guys in the business. They are knowledgeable and take the time to talk with you about your items that youre selling or buying. You get a fair price as well. 10 out of 10 recommend DSS Coin& Bullion.
Knowledgeable staff, the silver they have goes out the door quick!
Nice honest people can`t get better than that !
Dont trust them, they are nothing more than a pawn shop
First time customer and very small inventory on display. Cash only.
Knowledgeable staff, very friendly and professional, and gave me a fair price for antique coin collection. Will definitely return
Blows the competition away! Can barely call another shop competition. They a freindly, fast, and give a fair price for valuables, instead of trying to see how much they can get over on you like most places in the Omaha metro. More than happy with my visit and will be a returning customer.
We have some old coins that we wanted to sell. After going to every single dealer in the Omaha area, we found DSS to quote the lowest price of all. We are talking $10-$15 less, per coin, compared to others. Nice people, but we simply cant afford to sell to them when theyre so much lower than others.
Talked to Alex at the 13th St. location about selling some sterling silver flatware. He couldnt have been nicer and offered $730 (meltdown value.) Sols had offered a meltdown value of $255 several days earlier when silver prices were slightly HIGHER.
Very fair to us, next door to them folks said my jewelry wasnt real.. .. I knew better, walked in to DSL, and I was amazed.
Prices are unreasonable. Coin are $6 higher than other coin dealers spot price in town plus the owner is one of the rudest people Ive ever met. I went twice to see if he was just having a bad day the first time I met him but he was still condescending. I dont recommend this coin shop. There are others that treat their customers better and have fairer prices.
Took gold coin to West shop and asked for appraisal. Told is was without a doubt 100% legit. Take to East location SAME DAY and asked extremely rude and arrogant man if it was real. He said partly, a good fake with only half the amount of gold in it. Wanted to trade me off name Australian gold coin for my American Indian gold coin. VERY VERY SHADY. Wont be back!
BAD! Went to 13th st store this morning with 2 silver $ holders, 21 coins in each to sell. Man behind counter didnt even take them out of containers, went behind a wall & asked someone what they were worth & came back. Said they were paying 13 & change apiece. All without looking at them. Also had a gold coin/necklace, he took it apart & said $395. Had been told you would be treated right if your a vet as the owner is a veteran! Wrong, was treated like I was there to be ripped off! Left & went to sols pawn & was offered $83.00 more! The 1st they did was take the coins out & examine each one! Not sure if the guy that I dealt with was in bad mood or if thats the way they do business! My experience: NOT THE PLACE TO SELL COINS OR JEWERY! 😟
Excellent service. They pay as much as possible and do their best to take care of you
I sell all my jewelry here. These guys treat me great.
Only dealer I sell my coins to. Pay better than anyone else.
Extremely rude and horrible customer service
Go there to pick up Foreign coins. The guys there are always respectful and answer any questions i have.
Very knowledgeable. professional, and fair. People you can trust.
Act like they could care if you came their not also have to totally diffent aprassials from their 13thst location and the other one out west I Wlli never go back
Nice and knowledgeble but it seems they are only interested in gold.
Worst customer service I have ever had on the phone. Period.
