Maya was very nice and helpful. The doctor was fun and full of life its nice to be around people who can be professional and funny. My eye visit was great found out I have better then 20/20 vision. I recommend them to anyone in need of glasses or to have a eye test.

It was very easy to make an appointment, staff were informed, helpful, friendly, professional and efficient. There were plenty of frames to choose from and staff were helpful in the selection process too.When I went back because of an issue with the fit of my new glasses the staff were very helpful and took time to make sure I was completely satisfied

I have used a few other optical places since getting glasses 10 years ago. Shopko is hands down the best place for glasses and contacts. The doctors have been there for a long time, so it feels like someone has your back. Unlike Wally world where they dont have doctors for years at a time. Was visiting from out of town when one of my contacts ripped. I contacted them to see if I could get a replacement and was blown away by how helpful they were. They supplied me a replacement free of charge and all the staff were friendly and helpful. They even complimented our cosplay for anime nebraskon. Highly recommend this place!

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The optometrist was very helpful and I walked out of the store with glasses ordered and contacts that allowed me to see such better than I was before. I have been seeing eye Drs for over 40 years as I have very bad eyesight and this was one of my better experiences.

My family has been going to Shopko optical on 84th Center for years....love Dr. Witte and his staff. They are always so friendly and attentive. They do what they can to keep everything on time but never make you feel like they are rushing you out....always listen to questions/concerns. Also always helpful in picking new frames and getting new glasses. Love them and so glad I started going here!

10/10 would definitely recommend! The staff was super accommodating with me being stuck in a walking boot. They were also very easy going and they made me feel very comfortable. And made the whole process go very fast and smoothly. Awesome team!

What a great experience! Jody greeted me at the door. She was helpful from picking out glasses and letting me know what my insurance would cover. She even told me the frame special. Shopko Optical always has a great selection of frames. I will be back again!!

I had a bad experience when they moved to the smaller store. There was one employee in particular that was just rude and nasty. When I went back, it was a totally different experience. Nancy made me feel like I was talking to a friend and answered all my questions and went above and beyond to make sure I was getting the best deal for everything. Thank you Nancy 🙂

I love Dr. Whitte! He’s been with my girls 5 years plus! I love his chair side manor! And his voice is so comforting! And also shot out to my girl Tracy who always gets the girls right!

Worked with Kaera and Nancy, who were both amazingly helpful. Their professionalism and kindness were both beyond reproach. I’ll go nowhere else for my optical needs.

I have been going here for years and wont be buying any glasses here again. They have gone from a place with good service and reasonable prices to one of the most expensive places around and they try to up-sale from there! I got my glasses for less than half of their price before all of their overpriced options. Do yourself a favor and shop around. On top of that I spent nearly 2 hours there for a scheduled eye appointment.

Ive been going to Shopko Optical for over 20 years, even after our local stores shut down. Dr Witte has been a great asset to the company, especially when I was navigating eye changes during a diabetic diagnosis. Friendly and caring staff as well.

I have been wearing glasses since the 4th grade and for the last 12 years Ihave had the worst time with different places not getting things right the first time I have had to have my glasses remade every time because the bifocals have been in the wrong place or the axes was ground in wrong but at shopko optical store 4045 on 3/4/2021 the folks their got it right the first time my exam was perfect dr. was great and the employee that measured for the bifocals Pamela was very easy to work with and listened to my concerns the store was clean and the guests where very much cared for THANK YOU SHOPKO FOR YOUR GREAT CARING.

Even though Shopko is out of network for my insurance, I still go there because of Dr. Gerdes- he is a great doctor who listens to his patients. Friendly and helpful.

Love them! Dr. Witty was awesome he made us feel comfortable and I feel confident in the prescription we will get. Ive been other places that when you leave you hope your contacts will be right. Everyone was really friendly and Kaera went above and beyond to help me and my daughter. I knew it would be kinda of expensive for my contacts but she took extra time to help me find discounts and promotions. I was also an unexpected patient. I did not have an appointment my daughter did, but I figured I would ask if they could squeeze me in. Kaera did all this extra work for someone who she was not expecting.

Dirtiest bathroom Ive ever seen in a business setting

Dr. Witte has been my eye doctor for years and always remembers certain events in my life. The staff is also amazing! My dog got a hold of my brand new glasses and ripped them apart, but the staff at Shopko Optical fixed them for me. (This has actually happened more than once and they have never judged me. They just fix the problem with no questions asked. lol) They also are extremely cautious in light of Covid-19. They take everyones temperature before entering the building and are constantly cleaning. It is also open for appointments only so there are never too many people in the store at once. These people need some recognition for their great work over the years I have been a customer. I should be I for not Google reviewing them sooner! If you need contacts or glasses I highly recommend Shopko Optical on South 84th. Thats all thanks!

I broke my glasses in May, UGG! When they came in, I made an appointment due to Covid, they were limiting the number of customers in the store. Cindy met me at my car with my glasses because they had too people inside. She even ran back inside to adjust them. Thank you Cindy and Shopko Opitical for keeping us safe

I have gone to the 84th street location for a couple years. In my opinion this place rocks. Yes the staff is busy but I didnt feel at all ignored. I was helped as soon as I walked in the door. The only thing I can suggest is to put some chairs up front for customers to use. Once there is a lot of people in there, space to sit is limited. I really dont want to listen to someone elses eye needs and I dont want them to hear mine either. The girls that helped me were awesome. It was quick and I was in there and out in an hour. I will continue to go here.

Dr. Gerdy is the best. Weve been bringing the whole family to him for eyecare for decades. Anyone looking for excellent eyecare should give his Shopko Optical a call.

Someone posted this location is closed, no Shopko itself is closed but the optical office is in the outer lot with some other shops to the North of the bank. They did a thorough job with my eye exam and the staff was friendly & helpful.

Both my husband and I go to this office and we both think they are great! The ladies there all know their stuff and Dr. Witte is especially awesome!

This is the most incompetent optical office I have ever worked with. I wouldn’t send anyone here. They have no idea how to do their jobs. NEVER go here. They are terrible.

The workers looked like they really didn’t care about there jobs but the guy who actually looks at your eyes was good
