Loved our visit today. Everyone that approached us was so helpful. Jordan was especially helpful. Super sweet and understanding of my needs. Wish I could do more but hopefully she will see this and it will make her day.

I felt pressured to buy something because they thought i was stealing something and not the girl saying i don’t know how to do makeup.

Places like this location are the reason brick and mortar businesses sit empty. Its easier to order online rather than waste time driving to deal with incompetence. I called from another Ulta location to have them hold something for me last night 20 minutes before closing time (which is too early anyway). The girl who answered got the product, took my name, said it would be at the counter. Went in today to get it and they had no idea what I was talking about. Of course they were out of it by then. Wasted my time here again. I looked at my phone history to make sure it was *this location* I called. It was. Now I have to drive to a 3rd location who supposedly really does have it and really is holding it for me. Good grief!

This store is so over crowded, I feel like a bull in a china shop. Constantly knocking stuff over, running into displays. Im surprised the city hasnt flagged it for fire hazard. Way too much stuff laid out in such an odd manor.

Last month I went into the Salon and Erica was my stylist.She was the best stylist I have had in a long time.I have really thick hair but she took her time and I am so happy with my color and style.She is just wonderful.I would recommend going to her for your salon needs.She’s also has amazing customer service and really took the time to ask me exactly what I wanted.

Just waited 20 minutes for a curbside order. Called twice, this isn’t the first time this has happened!If you can’t fulfill the online curbside orders then don’t do curbside pickup.

I love ulta store it self but the girl at the pick up register couldn’t even say thank you she acted as if she didn’t want to get my order for me... I work I pay for my stuff I would appreciate some customer courtesy when I’m checking out especially at a place where I spend a lot of money like ulta! I suggest getting friendlier staff!

Big lady blonde hair was super rude! I went with my girlfriend to buy her some stuff but she couldnt make up her mind on what product to get so the worker there thought we were stealing... she pretended to be costumer to spy on us or something like really? Management needs to do something about her it hasnt been only 1 time but 3 times, unacceptable.

Heres a suggestion..treat your male customers the same way you treat your women customers.. Offer help, be kind. Just because im a male of color when I walk in, I dont need to be eyed like a hawk and then when i ask for help only one of you was kind and helped me while the others acted like I was an affront to even be in the store. I spend 100s of dollars at this company often and this store will no longer get my business. Word of mouth spreads fast in the community. Check your customer service and racial/sexual profiling at the door when you clock on.👍

Made a salon reservation with Taylor for 3 JUL at 3 pm. Arrive. Theres a man in the salon. I assume hes with a client, so I didnt speak up. Then he comes around to the front-no client. I tell him about my appt. He informs me, rather condescendingly, that Taylor was sick & they phoned me 2 hours ago. At this point, I start to apologize & ask which number they phoned. He asks me if Im Christine Somebody. Im not. I give him my name & he says Im not on the calendar. No apology. No offer to reschedule. Very dismissive, very rude. NO customer service at all! I didnt speak w/ a manager-I was rather incensed & walked out. And they wonder why brick & mortar stores go out of business....

The customer service is great here! The staff always gives great suggestions for product and alternatives (even if they are less pricy..for those of us who dont want to spend too much). As a bonus they are all very kind and seem generally happy. I enjoy going here!

This location always seems a bit understaffed, but the employees are wonderful and really listen when you ask for help. I have always gotten great advice!

I love ulta and coming into ulta stores, but the location on L street is just atrocious. My friend and I ran in really quick for just one thing. The second we walked in, we had rudely been bombarded by some “Karen”, not sure what her name was, asking if we had masks. If you do not display that it is a REQUIREMENT to wear a mask, I should not feel ashamed or unwanted in a store I typically spend a lot of money in. This lady rudely told me, next time choose curbside pickup if you can’t have a mask. As someone who works in the public all day every day in a hair salon, I know the rules and regulations of the mask and social distancing. But there are much more professional ways of explaining the rules. I will NOT be returning to this L street location. I will go out of my way to visit other locations where I feel more comfortable and welcomed. This is a sad sad store.

A bit disappointed in the availability of their products. Items are advertised but when you get to the online check out, they tell you the products are out of stock or you have to get them at one of their other stores. Wasted a lot of time.

This location is usually well-staffed and they are usually pretty friendly, helpful, and prompt. Sometimes, I am unable to find what I am looking for, but that is probably on my part, not the store. Its clean and the testers are mostly well-kept.

Very knowledgeable clerk helped me. However they were out of a lot of merchandise I was looking for for my daughters Christmas present. And I didnt even wait till Christmas eve. It was 3 days before that. Great store normally though. Only my 3rd time there

This location is my favorite! Everyone here is nice, helpful, and fun. I never feel like an outsider and someone is ALWAYS available to help me.

ALL the staff that we dealt with were super nice and very helpful. Robert did an amazing job on my daughters hair and even helped with products and walked her thru the process, she is crazy happy with the results. I booked an appointment for myself the next day.

I cant say enough GREAT things about this location!! Their salon is above reproach. I have been getting my hair cut and colored there for quite a while. My favorite is Hailey because shes​ so knowledgeable about color AND she takes her time with you. Just an overall great person! I highly recommend her! All of their stylists are fantastic! Mr. Robert is very experienced and such a skillful stylist. I would recommend him to anyone! Their waxing services are first-rate. Ive had my neck/chin area worked on by Ana and I must say what a pro! So detailed, so gentle and very knowledgeable about all things beauty! A shout out to management as well. This store is clean, bright, well stocked AND an associate will ALWAYS ask if you are finding what you need, and if not, personally walks you to the area to find the product. If you arent sure about what product or service you are thinking about, EVERYONE there has an abundance of knowledge! Top quality store, top quality people, probably THE best Ulta Salon and store in Omaha!

Odd organization, but still organized and clean, especially for all the testing products. Granted, Im sure theyre usually slow on the week days but it was fairly busy and I only remember 1 cashier :/ not awful though!

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They do have someone who works as a consultant for a particular brand, and will try to get you to go with that brand over any other... This wasnt what I was looking for.I listened and tried, but the brand was awfully expensive for small products. I go to Ulta for prestige brands, but I dont want to be limited to one particular brand. An unbiased eye, going over every product, is what Id want.I ended up getting something from a brand Ive used before, and it did wonders... And it was only 15 bucks compared to 75... (the full size is $30, but I wanted to try the travel first).This one (and it might be all...) didnt have MAC in store aside from a few small products near the check out.

Wanted to buy the new Uban Decay palate. No one greated me when I entered the store, watched the gal sweep for a while ....really stood there for a while.....and then she looked up and asked me if I needed help. She told me they dont have any new product, no information about the new UD pallate... They have never heard of it. Would have spent lots more than just the palate. Go to Sephora!!!! Or a different Ulta store. This store will make a fun trip sad😥.

I have always just gotten my hair done by who ever where ever...not anymore! I recently went to get my hair cut and colored. Blair did an amazing job! Its so beautiful and soft! She did an amazing job! She explained to me how to take care of my new color so it would last longer. She was such a pleasure to deal with and did such a great job I will NEVER go to anyone else!My daughter who is 10 hates getting her hair done also got her hair done by Blair. Blair did such a great job with her that she no longer hates getting her hair done and is excited to go back. 💜

Nice environment for women, have some men items like Cologne and hair gel, otherwise if you go in with your wife be prepared to bang your head off the walls for countless hours while they look at everything and buy nothing

I had my hair done here. The lady (Erika) was super nice and understanding. I asked for gray/ash and when she was done I told her I didnt like the end color and we went back to fix it, which is the right thing to do, and I have had that happening to be before with other hair stylist, but they usually get very rude and mean when you tell them you dont like it and Erika was super thoughtful and happy to please and because of that Im coming back again. 😊

Every time I come in I am immediately helped and all of the girls are amazing!! I have been going to Blair for years and wont let anyone else touch my hair ever!! She always knows what exactly what to do and will tell me no if it will damage my hair. She knows that she is doing with hair cuts, color and make up. She is amazingly talented!!!!!

I’m a frequent customer of Ulta I spend quite a bit of money in store I recently stopped at this location as I have never been in this particular store I knew exactly what I was coming for but when I walked in I wasn’t greeted instead all three ladies was talking amongst themselves but whatever when I couldn’t find what I was looking for I walked up to the counter expecting someone to assist me well they didn’t one lady walked right past me so I waited in line behind the only other customer in the store so when the only other available associate hung up the phone I expected her to assist me this time but she walked right past me and to her register where she said something along the lines of I think I’m gonna do this so I waited a few more minutes before walking out then she says thanks guys!very unprofessional and I’ll never shop here at this location again

So glad this location carries Estee Lauder and will be carrying Lancome in less than a week! The staff was super helpful and there are plenty of application stations with sponges and wipes to try testers. Ample parking and easy access to the store.

Associates were talking obnoxiously loud with each other. No assistance offered and pretty empty shelves.

Caution: they are good at sales and know what they are talking about when it comes to their products. Points are a plus and way cheaper than sephora. They also have really good deals all through out the year.

I was in this Ulta the other day a little after the opening of the store and I could not get help. One girl at the register, one on the floor with a customer, and a girl in the salon with a customer. I walked around the store for at least 15 minutes waiting/looking for help. I almost left and went to Sephora because they have an abundance of help there. This is not the employees fault, Ulta needs to step up their game and provide more employees on the floor.

Went to Ulta to purchase the Dip powder starter kit. They offered two different selections and of course theres always a sale. Beware you will go for one thing and leave with the whole store lol. Staff is always friendly!!

Thanks Ulta Beauty for a job well done. First we called, they had it, set it aside for us, we came brought it, then we left in less than 3 mins. My daughter brought one of the curling irons and she loves it and she will loves it even more when she learns how to use it. She hasnt used it since the first day we brought it home. There is nothing wrong with the curling iron, its the operator. Lol

I was here a couple of days ago. I came in looking for a specific product and some advice on a good lipstick that would last. No one even approached me. I was there for 20 minutes and there were multiple staff that just looked at me and walked by. So I went to the front where the manager appeared to be and asked if they carried Cover FX, and the manager looked up for about a split second at me, looked down again and said in a monotone voice that the Ulta in Council Bluffs did. Worst Ulta experience ever.

One of the best, clean-cut hair cuts I have ever gotten. I am very picky with my hair cuts. I went to the salon manager, Blair. I have really curly hair and it can be difficult to work with, and she always provides me consistent, clean-cut hair cuts. Prices were very reasonable concerning she is a senior stylist---- I never have to worry about it looking bad.

I love the retail part but the salon here sucks. Not worth the money at all. I had to wait 40 mins (after I was scheduled) for my stylist to finish the previous client and I the cut turned out too long... Spend your money in the retail section.

I go here for wax. Use the point system, its free, really adds up . They accept manufacturer coupons. Special pricing on upbrand haircare to drugstore varieties. Great clearance prices. Salon service, facials. Personal help always available. No samples like Sephora though, stingy with them.

The store was clean. We walked thru the entire store and no one offered to help us even once. If we would have been helped then my rating would have probably been 5🌟.

Update to my original 3 start review.. I have been to this location 3 times in the past month. Every single time, I have been treated in such a rude manner by the employees. They act bothered by their jobs, and are so dismissive and unhelpful. I understand the stresses of COVID19 are probably contributing, but to consistently receive the same unapologetically rude service is so upsetting. I won’t be supporting this location any longer. I hope management seriously assesses these concerns as well, because it seems from recent reviews that others are having the same experience. Very disappointing since I always use to have great service here!This location has very kind and helpful employees, but it is ALWAYS so picked over and really unorganized. If I have the time, I prefer going to the one on Maple, which I believe is bigger and carries a wider range of products.

I love Ulta, and I love the salon at Ulta. Ive had many facials done there, and enjoyed each one. I have always had my hair done elsewhere, and loved going where I went. A few months ago I decided to give the Ulta salon a try for a color. I wanted a big change, and gave Blair a general idea of what I wanted. She took my idea and transformed it into a beautiful and unique color that I am SO incredibly in love with. This girl clearly knows what she is doing and has incredible talent. She also has great product knowledge, and has helped me out of situations where I needed guidance on how to make my hair feel healthy again.That being said; I have also had the pleasure of previously working with Blair. I have seen firsthand how professionally she has dealt with a client who wasnt 100% satisfied with their service. She is always proactive and works with not just her own clients to come up with a solution. It is very rare that someone isnt satisfied with Blairs work, but she wants to make things right. This is because she is great at her job. She has many roles and she does them all incredibly well.She is also great with childrens cuts. My son LOVES spending time in her chair. Hes five. He moves around a lot. He always leaves looking great because Blair is a magician who can give a straight lineup to a wiggly kindergartener.To make a long story short, Blair and her salon team are a group of wonderful individuals working at a well-run salon. I recommend the salon services as well as the benefit brow bar to all of my friends.I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Blair or her salon. Unlike some who are still bitter four months later.Make an appointment with the salon and Ulta and you will not leave disappointed.

Love Ulta! Sephora is closer, but I always go to Ulta as its cheaper and offers more. Hair, bath and body, makeup...its all here!

This was the worst service I have experienced in quite sometime. I felt very disrespected and mistreated when I left. When I asked for the products I had placed on hold, they said that they put them away. I told them it was a gift. They did not offer to help find them. The girls continued to talk with each other instead of answering my questions. I asked to speak with a manager and I was told I was talking to one. What a joke. I would rather spend more money and have the service elsewhere.

We found about $200 worth of makeup and a lighted mirror for my firlfriends birthday. The girl ringing us up at the counter literally lied and stated that we could not return any of the products we were purchasing if we didnt sign up for the Ulta rewards program. We thought that sounded strange, so I asked her to clarify. Again she said you need to sign up or you cant return any products if they are defective. I asked how this could be if we had our receipt. She said it was company policy. I told her this was ridiculous and that we would just stop our purchase and shop elsewhere. She then recanted her statement and tried to smooth the awkward situation over. I told her I didnt appreciate the hassle and we went ahead with the purchase.The takeway here for Ulta management: Obviously your employees get some sort of kudos or bonuses for getting clients information and signing them up for your rewards program. Everyone understands this and we all get it. The problem is that your employee is a liar and probably has quite a few unsuspecting or inexperienced customers fall for this. You will lose clients like us from this tactic. We only finished the sale because we were in a hurry and we will not be back.
