Not especially close to home but I found 3 employees I could trust..Sherry, Tom and Pat. Otherwise the worst experience. Too many stock people blocking the products..have to ask them to move so you can shop. Yet the shelves are fully stocked only when they expect corp inspectors. Phone sometimes rings without answering.Checkout is a nightmare. The checkout machines dont respond easily. Ask for help and you get attitude. The next week an employee refused to help when I discovered an item was damaged saying neither she nor anyone else in the store was available to help. I was in the middle of checking out. Finally another employee went to get a replacement but never came back. The first woman then got a cart, came back and ran it into mine, turned around and pointed at me and called me a name! Had to call management from the store. He got the item but listened to her lie about it .This is Walmart everybody and the worst of it is at 50th and L Street. Its just not worth being threatened and mistreated for the sake of feeding your family. We can find another place to shop.

Normally I like this Walmart but today I had the same experience as I have had at the super Walmarts. On end caps the had taco shells posted at $1. But when I scanned them, it was normal price (over $2 each). Since we are doing cashier jobs now as customers, getting help is a pain and time consuming. Sam would have never wanted his business ran like this. Shame on all the CEOs and corporate office people for destroying what was once a great store.

I read the reviews before I wrote this and a lot of people have the same thing to say as I do.theyre always stocking in the Isles and are in the way. Yet dont always have items I always get stocked. not a good store to go to when youre buying a lot because most of the time you have to check out and bag your own stuff and if you have two carts full of groceries thats about impossible. Walmart is getting way too inconvenient with their self checkout its nice of you just have a few things but I go to Walmart 1 to 2 times a month because I have to take uber home. And to save however the 50th and L Street Walmart has higher prices then super Walmarts. and it would be nice if they had better Deli. and perhaps a bench to sit on and rest when needed for people that are not able to stand for long.

If your wanting excellent customer service. This isnt the place. You want convenience of location this is the place. Most of the time things are stocked. Mainly use this location for online grocery pick up. Sometimes thats hit and miss. Sometimes theyre fast or extra slow 🐌. We cant always win 🤣

I have been doing the curbside pickup at Walmart on 50th & L... The employees are always so kind and helpful.I am however a bit upset that the employees are NOT allowed to keep their tips. That is WRONG because those employees work very hard loading up groceries all day, shopping for the customers all day... They deserve to keep any tips given to them. Just needed some nail polish remover but it was locked and no one was coming when I pressed the button. I asked some workers by the registers and none of them knew where to find a key. I finally got this blonde woman to help us. I was showered by reasons on why she couldnt help and she was super stressed. She asked what case I wanted open and I went to slide it open. SHE HIT MY HAND! I already told her what I wanted and I wasnt being sketchy. I just held my tongue and got out of there before I cussed her out. She never she messed up because she started panicking and sped off.. oh, and its my birthday lol

Horrible customer service lately. Been cashing my checks weekly for 5 years there and within the last 4 weeks its become almost not worth it to even try there. A cpl days ago a new employee canceled the transaction so many times that it wouldnt let me cash the check at all at any Walmart. If you are in a hurry or would like any sort of knowledgeable service at the money center I recommend going elsewhere.

No cashiers forcing you to do self service, but can have two people watching over the self checkout? I gave my cart load of stuff to an employee and walked out. Never again!

My dogs were in a running, air conditioned, locked car while I ran in to get a few groceries. Someone reported my car and said there were dogs in a hot car. A man from customer service made an announcement over the intercom. I went immediately to customer service, and the employee with braids said he normally is supposed to call the police in situations like these but he didnt this time. I said situations like what because my dogs are fine. I asked him to come outside to see my car is running and he did. He said something similar happened the day before where someone called in a child locked in a hot car, but he looked all over the parking lot and never found a child left in a car. Apparently, he preferred to look for a child that day instead of just calling the police in that situation.Then, the police drove up while we were standing in front of my car and blocked my car so I could not leave until the Humane Society got there, even though the car was running the whole time. The employee never said anything to the police on my behalf. He just left me to be publicly humiliated by the police that he may or may not have called for something he knew was a false report.

I purchased two rotisserie chickens from this Walmart yesterday at 530ish and both were raw. I did not keep the receipt cause I didnt have many items I purchased. I called and spoke to the manager she supposbly couldnt find my receipt in the self checkout. This is not my home walmart. This manager had me on the phone for 45 minutes and wanted me to run half way across town to bring these back to her when I had family coming over.

Busiest store in Omaha. Always well stocked. Lots of carts. Self service checkout sucks!!

Surprised that it was so quiet at 10:30am. Clean, helpful people and very well stock. In and out with no problems unlike some of the others.

There were several people besides myself that were wanting to shop and were denied access. Perhaps Walmart needs to hire someone to man their website daily. It definitely would be beneficial for future business. I will spend my money elsewhere.

This Walmart on 50th L Omaha Ne is the worst place to get groceries. They are all ways out of stuff I dont know who orders the food but he or she isnt doing a good job. Its been like this since October or November. If they dont do something about this they will lose me as a customer. I love walmart but not this one

They were OK separate the check outs they went to rush you through whether it be a self check out or a person they werent rushed me through and then I forget my bags and I get all upset and Im supposed to hurry up and I hate that why do they always have to push people through it dont tie my bag shut like I ask Im blind theyre not helpful at all the people that walked through the store that shopper more helpful than some of the people there

After working 14 hr shift the last thing I want to do after grocery shopping is having to self check out AND bag my own groceries because there are NO cashiers available. Why would you have cashier sections if you dont have any available cashiers? I had to wait 13 minutes for an available self check out to be open. Absolutely ridiculous

Staff was so unprofessional and rude, the mangers were the worst treating customers so poorly and sitting on their phones the whole time, I asked one of the managers for help finding the baking soda and they were to busy on their phone to show me where it was, they made one of their cashiers leave their register to show me where it was, I will never go back or recommend this walmart to anyone, people are better off to go to ANY other walmart.

Very watchful yet very friendly so I appreciate it. Shouldnt have to be that way but evil has left them no choice. I used to work overnights at a popular gas station last year so I know what they probably deal with on a daily basis. Not to mention what has happened in other Walmarts. Be safe but dont let them ruin your days.

Waltmart is a great time for shopping

I went to walmart to purchase a Polaroid camera but instead I went home with 25 prime cuts of steak. I spent 400 bucks on this steak and it was plastic. I went to cook it and it shrivelled up and started to burn. I tried to add seasoning and sauce to the burning and it burst into blue flames.

Could use a deep clean and some smiling staff thank goodness for hyvee

My least favorite Walmart in Omaha. Every time Ive been here,regardless of the time, theres always people stocking in at least one of the aisles I need to use. This makes shopping more cumbersome since I constantly have to go around stockers and their pallets. Despite this, they somehow always seem to be noticably understocked amd out of items. I only come here to get one or two things since theres no guaruntee that shopping carts will be available. Staff arent very welcoming but its Walmart so I guess thats to be expected.

Well this was my first visit to a neighborhood Walmart grocery store. It was rather pleasant. The store was clean and the staff was nice. Like it should be. I enjoyed it as much as one can enjoy Walmart.

Every so often when Ive gone to this Walmart. There were no grocery carts available. On numerous occasions Ive gone out of my way to get carts for people who needed to shop. Employees witnessed this and still did not help. I had one elderly greeter come out & help in the freezing cold. I asked her not to except to find a manager instead. One could not be found for atleast 15 to 20 mins.

Great supermarket, always have fresh produce and everything we are looking for quick and fast in and out. And you always end up walking out with more than what you came in for, which I suppose can be a good thing or a bad thing but either way you always leave satisfied.

Its a good store! Got what I needed, out in 20 minutes.😊

Many people didnt keep their PPO on or face masks on in addition they blantenly and ignored the arrow signs directing which way to proceed down or up an isle. How ever in a positive note the staff was more helpful than in the past.

I would give this store 5 stars if they had more cashiers. I hate having to use self checkouts but it came down to either waiting quite awhile or doing it myself.

I waited over an hour for my grocery pickup & ended up leaving, I felt sorry for the staff. The place was severely understaffed

Very popular store certain departments look as though theyve been looted. I shop here three times per month and cant figure out what time the store has maximum stock. The people are very helpful and friendly.

I absolutely hate this walmart. Not only do they have store policy that differs from other walmarts (ie : not being able to break a 20 when you get 100 *or other multiple of 20* cash back and not being able to return formula or baby cereal THAT ISNT EVEN A VALID WIC ITEM). ive been on hold for periods over 20 minutes. They let people in without masks. Never have PLAIN cheesecake in stock. I get frowned upon for tattoos and have people stand to ENSURE I PAY FOR EVERYTHING based purely on how i look.I only go here bc its a good stroller walk for my 2 year old.Would not recommend.

Horrible experience picking up groceries tonite. Arrived at 640pm and finally got groceries at 10:14pm.

The lines and staff are always poorly equipped to deal with customers cashing checks buying money orders.

Its a nice clean store but the meat selection leaves a lot to be desired.

Great produce, prices are somewhat reasonable.I love their Curbside pick up sevice,very fast and friendly and on time😁The other night I decided to do some shopping inside and Im at the self check out, well,I was almost done scanning everything( approximately $300 dollars worth of stuff)& this young employee comes over to me and asked me if I had scanned my big bag of dog food and laundry detergent, I told her I did and she continued to harass me and argue with me about it and gets on my register to see if I had really scanned it. I have a job, I do not need to steal is what I told her and she continues to harass me and argue with me even after she seen that I had scanned it..Well, needless to say, I walked out and had to leave $300 dollars worth of stuff sitting there for her to put back on the shelves because she refused to accept that she was totally wrong for treating me that way. It was absurd and she should not work anywhere that involves customer service.

The lady at customers service is so rude and no only with me, with other people too.I left the store crying.

Too many people clustered into the store at once, were in a pandemic people arent wearing masks, whole families shopping even with children. No respect for the elderly nor people that have underlying health problems, the staff doesnt even have social distancing in place properly. Theyre always out of everything & then theyll have stuff saying its in stock but they wont look. Worst Walmart ever!!!

Not enough checkers, shelves always half empty. Shopping carts are always piled up in the parking lot.

Prices cant be beat, but usually very crowded and distancing doesnt seem to be required. Many families with young unmasked children running about unattended.

Didnt have isles very clean, they were very disorganized some of their fruit was rotten.

Horrible! 8:30 PM at night and not one light outside is on the parking lot is pitch black. This is most definitely a lawsuit waiting to happen. The parking lot is pitch black.

This store is always over populated, dirty and always feels understaffed. Horrible place to come to especially when you want to use the scan and go. They close the scan and go lanes for idk what reason which makes my 20 min run an hour run. Mostly standing in line to pay.

They cashed a check made out to Metropolitan Utilities District for 140.05 in the amount of 195.05 as an electronic ACH that was stolen from my mailbox.

There was a big variety of things but the store is really over priced. I only ended up buying 3 things.

Quiet place to shop for groceries. Everything is clean and orderly. Employees are polite and helpful.

Hard to find help, does not have cashiers. Does not want to give change, so you can get a cab. Has just when down hill all over since opening. I do not recommend this Walmart at all. 😡

I find the produce dept dirty, no clear way of knowing what is fresh and absolutely better prices at other local stores. Walmart rarely has a super great value on fruits and vegetables. I do find more and more that Walmart is catering to the Hispanics which really upsets me as we are America. Therefore I am more and more distancing my familys needs to other stores. I am finding better value and atmosphere

Jam packed... Funny how the supercenters are counting people going in and out, but this neighborhood market was standing room only. Literally elbow to elbow and wall to wall people... Impossible to exercise social distancing...lol. If a person was ever going to catch covid-19 it was there... Fortunately it missed us....( Or did it?)... We got in and out as fast as we could... Even the employees were pushing there way thru customers to get to where they needed to go... Insanity!
