To be honest I was hesitant on stopping by this store. I was reading the reviews and was taken back by some of the responses to the not so good reviews. However, we did stop in because of the good reviews.I will say the selection is amazing and its set up is very friendly for a person just starting out their crystal journey.(Which I am not but wanted to mention it) The downside is on average the crystals are overpriced for the Midwest. I saw these prices in Chicago and other large metro areas)The lady at the counter was very friendly which was a plus. Id definitely say its worth stopping by to see the selection and my daughter loved it.To the owner: Id recommend reevaluating how you respond to negativity. It can read very defensive and like you need to prove them wrong. Which you dont. Youre wonderful reviews speak for themselves. A simple: Im sorry you had a negative experience at our store. We work very hard to ensure each customer feels welcomed and sometimes due to other events, our attempts can miss that mark. (PS helping business respond and build reviews is what I do for a living

Came here twice to see what they had, because i love supporting little crystal shops here in town. The second time i went i took my boyfriend because i wanted to show him what they had too. He and i both tend to dress a little darker, he loves his scratchy logo metal bans t’s. We were the ONLY ones in the store that looked any kind of alternative. We were in there for probably 20-30 minutes before we decided to head out because I literally just wanted to show my boyfriend the cool stones they had. As we left we were followed out and, i believe she was a manager, she straight up accused me of stealing. I happily went in to look at the camera footage to try and understand what they were talking about, yet i saw no where in the video where it looked like i put anything in my pant line/pocket. I was also more than happy to show that i had nothing but the crystals already in my possession. I will not be coming back here because i felt singled out, and they were very adamant that i stole something. They even had the price of the crystal pulled up to make me pay for it. I get that people steal, especially small things like crystals, because theyre easy to conceal. But they had no hard evidence that i stole anything. An experience that i was looking forward too and very excited about quickly turned into and uncomfortable and disappointing event. Really sucks but its cool we got other crystal shops in town that i enjoy.

Awakenings is an amazing place. I cant say enough about it. When I enter the door I am greeted by the staff and they answer all my questions. The atmosphere is welcoming and inviting. The crystals almost call uou to them. I love it there.

I just visited Awakenings for the first and last time. I was considering several hundred dollars in merchandise when the employees began to exchange disparaging comments, jokes, and laughter at the expense of modern children and young people. This all happened at conversational volume, just across the counter from me where I was arranging my selections.I found the blatant adultism, and the insulting banter, so disrespectful and inappropriate that I quietly replaced all my merchandise and left. I will not be back.I was once a child. So were all your customers. Dont insult our past if you want our money.

This is a beautiful store that’s carefully curated and well organized, but their prices are certainly not competitive. The staff is quite friendly and knowledgeable, but there’s definitely a very commercial vibe in comparison to other metaphysical shops in the area.

Overpriced, prices are completely incorrect for some stones, employees stared me down the entire time like I was about to steal their entire stock, blatant lies about the identity of certain stones. If you want genuine stones with correct prices, and employees that are kind, support another business. Cute setup though so not 1 star.

Very nice selection of crystals. I even found some futhark runes for me to use for divination readings.

Wide selection, ive gone twice and the prices are also very affordable. Ive purchased about 12-16 crystals in total, some have definitely been labeled wrong though. I have had to cleanse and charge my crystals for awhile before any use due to the energy in the store. Lots of negative gossiping and just a uncomfortable feeling in general. I will be looking for a new crystal store and sadly not returning to this one because of that. Having a crystal store with bad energy is kinda weird, but im sure ill be able to find one that has good energy.

Absolutely loved my experience here. Very easy to shop, everything is clearly labeled and priced and it was very clean and well organized. Staff was friendly. The energy in the store was great.

I went in for stones was told I was one stone then after a friend raised issue with said stones took then to another stone shop and ask to identify I was told it was a different stone all together. The store after going to three other rincluding one in Lincoln is marked up two to three times the price for smaller stones. Being lied to and extorted for stones that the cards that come with claim can help heal kidneys or other major health problems is just wrong. Tried meditation with some citrine only to find the stone felt off so I had to leave it out in my yard for a few days to get whatever was on it out. It feels like some high end clothes store that orders it products a third world country for pennies then puts it on a shelf for 120. Will not buy from again. Also I have pictures and video of a jeweler saying the stone bought is not what I was told and the tag saying it is what it is not. And as a side note after looking through other reviews one of the owner Eric seems to like going through and trying to debase any negative experiences had. Literally attacking and trying to quite those who are the victim. I will not ever go back and would tell anyone who enjoys stones to avoid this shop.

Wish I could give this place 0 stars extremely unwelcoming. Rude manager and accused and profiled my boyfriend and his friend of stealing when he even emptied his pockets in front of the camera to the manager to prove he wasn’t. We came here 2 days prior and bought some stuff but he drove me back so I could continue to look around cause I didn’t have time to look at everything I wanted last time but I’m happy to say I won’t be coming back. I didn’t like the energy this place gave off. I decided to spend my money at another local crystal shop where I’m friends with the owners and they’re always inviting. I would also like to add that not only is the manager strange but so are the owners. They won’t show us or send us the video of the supposed theft they’re talking about on their Facebook page but posted a pic of my boyfriend with his hand in his pocket and his friend kneeling down looking over at the big amethyst statue and staging that pic as if it’s the theft which is weird cause the manager said they stole something out of the case in the back of the store and put it in their pocket but the statue is at the front and the owner is saying the theft happened there and that they took something off that front wall. Their story is all over the place and doesn’t fit together it makes no sense so don’t even waste your time here. I even called back after we left to see if I could speak with a regional manger and the manager there answered and said he was it which I found funny cause soon after I found out there’s only one store so not really a regional manager but nonetheless I told him the situation was very weird and that they were treated unfairly cause how can someone have stolen merchandise in their pockets if they empty to show you otherwise. He basically didn’t want to hear that and said he got his license plate which was fine cause were okay with the police contacting us which they haven’t yet cause there’s no charges to press lol but I soon found out from that phone call why the short manager man in flip flops was mad. My boyfriend and friend were vaping in the store and instead of telling them to politely stop he got mad like and angry little pilgrim. but the funny thing was he told me over the phone that “they smelled like cannabis” then hung up and it was a nicotine vape. My boyfriend even showed the owner the kinda vape it was via Facebook message cause the owner found my boyfriends name from his google review and took it upon himself to message him a bunch of weird stuff cause I’m sure he didn’t want to get schooled on their public google page. I never seen a crystal shop so against weed when 90% of their clientele smokes I’m sure lol but either way the owner is just as weird as the manager. The owner told my boyfriend over message that he trusts his manager to be able to identify the smell of marijuana but apparently tropical banana ice smells the same lol. I’d even like to add I stood and talked to one of the employees for a bit because I was confused and she was more reasonable and sociable and she even thought the situation was weird and confusing and sadly her showing the footage was out of her control and apologized to me then the manager came back up to me and said I needed to get out and that he was refusing service to me like I wanted to buy something after that anyway

Just stopped in today for the first time, and their selection of crystals and sage was amazing! I found things I havent even seen in online shops. I will definitely be back -- I really appreciated how clean, modern, and professional the shop was. They also have a great rewards program -- $5 credit for every $50 you spend. Great location too.

Love this shop for multiple reasons. When I walk in I get a positive vibe instantly. If I have any questions about stuff I’m unsure of staff are right there full of knowledge of the product in store. They always seem to be getting new products in which leaves a wide variety of products that are fairly priced. Kelly Miller herself is also on point with her psychic medium readings. I will definitely keep coming back to this shop!

I have been here several times now and Awakenings is now my #1 favorite shop. I went in with a specific idea in mind but wasnt sure what I needed. I asked Jay for help and she was on it. She knew exactly what I needed, where to find it, and her knowledge of the different items in the store is impressive. She was super chill and helpful and I will definately be going back.

Love Awakenings. It is brightly lit, clean and has everything we are looking for during our spiritual journey. Amanda was especially helpful this last weekend. She is a wealth of knowledge and knew where everything we needed was at in the store.

Its a beautiful shop with great energy. Selection is fantastic with prices comparable to others. Though the thing that truly separates this store from the rest is their knowledge. While I was there I got to over hear an employee helping a customers. She really knew her crystals and listened to what the customers needs were and directed accordingly to what would help them. Wish I could have picked her brain for a while but I will definitely do so the next time Im in the store.

This place is fantastic. I had a need to clean my home from years of negative energy and needed some stones, along with items for smudging. The staff was amazing and gave me instructions on how to do it and even demonstrated right there in the store. Ive already put some suggestions in place and am so very grateful. The store is very pretty but in a surface level shiny kind of way. It felt like something was missing like a hollow shallow vibe. I’m sure this appeals to some people but not my cup of tea, sorry. Also everything seemed to be overpriced but from the area it’s in they can probably get away with it. I am glad I checked it out but I probably would only come back for something specific if at all.

Went there once on a wednesday and none of the employees were wearing a mask or following any covid guidelines 🤷🏻‍♀️

Stood at the counter with an item to purchase for several minutes without any acknowledgement from staff! Left unsatisfied. Items nicely displayed and store clean. Disappointed in lack of customer service 😔.
