The ring I have is beautiful, and the staff have always been friendly. Having said that. I got married in 2019 and this is the first time my ring has fit properly. The first ring was too big, even after bring sized twice. It kept losing diamonds, and from their own words, because the ring was too big (Yeah thats why I brought it back. Twice lol) We then just changed the ring completely. At that time they had the ring longer than I did. I loved the new ring, but it didnt fit. Huge surprise, I know. I got it back....too small. Now, it FINALLY fits, but it just so happens Im getting a divorce. It just would have been nice to have my ring fit while I was married and, ya know, when I was wearing it. However. Im still giving 3 stars because the staff was always nice, and there was a huge gap when nothing could have been done because of Covid.
I tried to buy another wedding band. Called on a Sunday evening 20 minutes before close 5 times and no one answered. I guess they don’t want my business.
Shawn was great to work with. Showed us deals and ended up buying two instead of one. For my first time going to a mall in over 18mo. This made my experience great.
I have purchased jewelry from these guys for quite a while. Today first and I found out that all their customer service and after they sell you your jewelry is handled by a foreign country in the Philippines. I’ve purchased my jewelry from an American store, I paid in American dollars. I expect American classic customer service. When I call these folks and I can’t understand anything they are saying and we are speaking of money. My relationship with Sales is over. I would not do any business with a Company that sells all their business to foreign countries. Call the store to get an American to help me. They were too busy to do so. Just like every sales man as soon as they get you out the door and they get their commission you don’t exist
Staff here was great. The lady that helped me pick out an Engagement Ring, & a Diamond Necklace was very personable, & informative about their selections & policies.
If I could give zero stars I would. My wifes wedding ring keeps losing stones (repaired 3 times in 2 years). And I took my ring in to be polished and they messed it up and returned someone elses ring to me and engraved my ring with someone elses order. Complete mess. DO NOT BUY FROM THERE!!!!
Had an issue with an order that was externally frustrating causing an over charge. The online customer service representative I spoke to not only emailed me information but contacted me later to confirm more information and tried to fix everything she could. I expected to be stuck on hold and sent though loops and that did not happen. The store later called me and offered to return my item without even needing make the trip out to them, which I greatly appreciate.
I placed an order for a mens gold band size 11 on November 27, 2020 at the Westroads location, Omaha, Ne. Pick up date was supposed to be December 20th and I have yet to receive it. I have called three times to check and every time I call I am told that the vendor has it, but they cant tell me much else. I called today, January 8, 2021, and spoke with Shawn/Sean who stated the same thing. She couldnt tell me why I hadnt received it. I told her I wanted to cancel my order and she stated that she didnt know how to cancel from the store. I would have to wait until the ring arrived in the store and then do a return. In the meantime, I have received my Zales credit card statement and made a payment. This is unacceptable that no one can tell me when I will tget the ring or cancel the purchase. It makes no sense. Why am I making payments for something I dont have. I will not do business with them again.

Was in the store 10/28/20 at the Westroad Mall at 6:30 the lady was busy so I left. So when I came back she seen me and my daughter and continued to talk to her RN find on a personal level so I stayed a little long and nothing.I came in to make a purchase. I guess she didnt want my $ .#NOTHAPPY!!!

My fiance and I worked with Dan. He was great to us. He helped us find exactly what we were looking for even though we werent very helpful in knowing what we liked. He took the time to help us find the perfect fit for us, and made sure we got the best price possible. I called and spoke on the phone with Dan months later inquiring about insurance for our jewelry; he was so helpful. He even took the time to put together an inventory of what we bought, and what we paid so that we could use it to apply for insurance. I cant say enough good things about our experience here, would definitely recommend.
Ugh! Where should I begin? Here is the current timeline of my daughters engagement: Boyfriend purchases a beautiful black diamond ring from the Disney Princess collection; Proposes Jan 4; Ring sent in to be re-sized Jan 5; Ring finally ready Jan 20; Not the same ring (this ring was missing the black detailing); Ring goes back to store on Jan 22, promised to have the right ring ready Feb 6; Manager calls my daughter and apologizes; Finally receives the ring Feb 20 and receives a refund of the payment for the lifetime warranty, believing this was a gesture to make up for all of the trouble; Today...Feb 27...cant wear ring because THE DIAMOND IS LOOSE!!!, and the black detailing has worn off the ring; and the clincher! When the store refunded the warranty payment, my daughter just learned they also cancelled the warranty. My daughter is heart-sick. Im disgusted.

Ive been taking my wedding rings in twice a year for 9 years and I have never had service I did today. The associate would not listen to my concerns about one side of my rings separating. She said extreme heat is the only way to do that. Idk what she is talking about because you can clearly see the other side of the ring is still the same as the day it was attached. When I mentioned this and that I can push it back together she just kept saying the same things. I was looking for a solution, even if I had to pay out of pocket. But she clearly wasnt not wanting to help me with this, even though I have a warranty and have been faithful with the inspections(including when I lived overseas!)When she cleaned my ring it still has white gunk all over and in between. I have had this ring cleaned 14 times through Zales and I know enough to know it doesnt look like that when they clean it. I asked Courtney if she cleaned it and she raised her eyebrows and said she brushed it. It was the tone that told me I should just give up on any service at this Zales. Its my first time here, as we are military and just moved here. I will find another Zales for future purchases and services.
Not impressed with the service at Zales what so ever at Westroads Mall. They treated me like I was a less then. My girlfriend and I had quite a bit of rings to look at from Kay’s, Helzberg and Zales. First day they were kind of helpful and nice also very pushy and tried sales pitching us every second, but the second time we were in store they looked like they didn’t want to help us at all. They treated me like I wasn’t worth their time, and that I wasn’t going to buy from them. Honestly I wouldn’t go here if you want someone who actually cares about that special moment for you. Just to let you know I have the money to buy the ring so if I were to buy from Zales I would just buy it online because these people don’t deserve your commission. Helzberg diamonds other hand they treat you like an an actual person and not a number on their pay check. They also have great deals going on all the time and worth your money. My boyfriend bought me a $500 necklace for Christmas. I had the necklace on not even an hour and the chain broke. We called the Westroads store where he bought it and they said they would exchange out the chain. We drove an hour and a half, for the manager to tell us they don’t have any but I can purchase one for $349.I will never go back.

I took my wedding ring and engagement ring in because it had broke and in doing so because of our lifetime warranty were going to replace it with a new one the catch was my wedding band my husband designed with our birthstones well when I saw the original ring he had replaced the diamonds with our birthstones....they were have the size and inset way to deep. The blessing was we did have a guy in there his name is Jim who also agreed that it was a huge difference in size....it seems the only person in there who knows his stuff is him and that is because he and his father had a jewelry store so he is a true jeweler. But its now going on a month and for the replacement of two stones this is ridiculous. The place who does their send outs should be fired...maybe they should have a in house guy to do it...Jim who does know the difference. Will let you know how it goes.
Very pleased with zales. My boyfriend bought me a nice promise ring and it cracked TWICE and with our life time warranty, they fixed it in no time and even cleaned it for us. Looked brand new both times. Great customer service! Thanks Zales!

Walked into the store with my daughter looking for christmas gifts this evening. I couldnt get anyones attention to help us. Its not like you can grab something you want and head for a checkout counter 🤔 super disappointed. I had 2 gifts to purchase but I guess being a female in a ring store Im just not the ideal customer. Im sure if I was a male I would have been helped. Angry. Disappointed. Annoyed.
I, too, have experienced this store lying about your wife said this was fine when that didnt happen. Refusing to honor warranties on items plainly under warranty. Spent thousands on a wedding ring here and when one of the prongs developed a sharp edge that would cut her hand when she wore it, they refused to even TRY to send it to their (actual) jeweler to see if he could or would mend /correct it. Rude and condescending management. infuriating experience. The only time anybody here treated me fairly and well was when my wallet was open for the original purchase. I only chose them because at the time they were one of the only jewelers in town with conflict free (Canadian) diamonds. They are now much more readily available and from local real jewelers. Run. Just run.

This store started out great! To give credit where credit is due, they replaced a broken pearl ring i had a number of times, and then eventually just let me trade it in for something else entirely because it was just becoming such a constant issue and i was having to send it in all the time to get fixed. Cool right? Well THEN their computers crashed and one of their fantastic managers left, which isnt their fault, but they lost a ton of customer names and numbers and proofs of who were their lifetime warranty customers due to the computer info getting all messed up, and then things got really rude and complicated for a long time....i had been a loyal customer for 8+ years and now all of a sudden i was being treated like a hostile liar who was out trying to get free stuff every time i brought my new ring in to be cleaned. It was really disappointing after all of rhe help and kindness Id been receiving for years. Now currently they have some new staff omce again and it seems to be in an upswing, which is great cuz i dont plan on buying a new ring any time soon ! Hopefully things are great again.

I will not shop at this zales EVER AGAIN!! I called them and the lady that answered the phone looked up a few item numbers for me and they didnt have any of them which is fine because I assumed it was just on the internet then. So then I asked her if she would maybe try and email me a handful of pictures of rings that they have there in store so I could pic one and run in to the store and buy it since I have 3 kids and no free time she said oh well theres too many in that price range you want and we dont have time to go through everything .All she had to do was send me maybe 10 rings they have that were similar to the ones I asked her to look up. The lady was very RUDE !! WOW what great customer service!!If anyone would like amazing customer service please go to Zales at Oakview Mall I called them and asked the very same thing I asked Westroads . Oakview said absolutely we can email you some pictures. They cant do it from their work computers but she said that she will see if one of the gentleman that work there can do it from his own personal computer and about 30 mins later I got a call and AMAZING hes going to send me some pictures of rings that they have in store.. Management is rude will not stand by their work and will lie to you. Corporate costumer service isnt helpful either we wrote them several times about the problem we had and they never got back to us with anything other than a generic email.We gave them our engagement ring in to get resized when we were purchasing another ring. The engagement rings diamond was set just ever so slightly crooked so we asked their guy to have a look at it to see if it was something they could fix. We got a call a few days later they said it wouldnt be a problem to fix it and gave us a price we gave them to ok. When we went to pick it up what they had done to fix it was cut the old head off and replaced it with a way bigger one that was also a completely different style than the original and was mounted off center. We told them it wasnt going to work and they sent it back to the ring guy to try again. The second time the ring came back it was a lot better but it still had a head that was way bigger than the ring we gave them. They spent a lot of time trying to convince us that this head was better than the original and that we should just keep it. My response was I picked the ring out because of the way it looked and because the diamond was not high set because my now wife had told me she wanted a low set diamond. They had changed the look and made the diamond high set without telling us they were doing so. They ended up taking it back and sending it to their guy again. The third time they called my wife and said we cant make it any better than the last time so all we can do is give it back to you and give you your money back. She told them that she would talk to me about it. I went in to talk to the manager and he started ringing me up for the return before I had agreed to take it. I will admit that I got a little heated at that point but calmed down quickly. I told him that we gave them the ring just to see if they could fix the diamond and they said the could without telling us that they would completely change the look of the ring. I said that I wanted te ring to look like it did when we originally gave it to them and he said they cant do that I said then send it to someone that can he said I wont pay retail prices on ring repairs your fiance said that a refund would be ok so I dont understand why are being so difficult I called him out on that because she never told him that. He started attacking me and the ring and was completely unprofessional about it. They never paid for it to get fixed but we took it to someone else and they got it close to its original look and it only cost us 55$
