The second debacle I had with Helzburgs started with my purchase of a $500 Citizen PCAT watch in November 2019. Very, very long story, it stopped working THREE TIMES. Three times I took it in to the Helzberg store at Oakview Mall. (This watch has a 5 year warranty!)Unfortunately, being a satellite type of watch (PCAT) it needs light nonstop, not just several hours of daylight) At one point, a store salesman took in the watch to keep for 2days. He called me back a week later, saying hed had it in sunlight and it is working fine. Guess my home light isnt good enough, in that once I picked it up, a day later, stopped working again. See a theme here? I know, $500 isnt a ton of money. My card limit is only $3000 and Im not a huge money-maker for Helzberg. But I did expect to some day, somehow, have a nice working watch. The Oakview Mall store manager, Kristen, said I was threatening to start trouble and she had done all she could do. If trouble means getting fair treatment, yep, Im trouble.Finally with it not working again, Ive proceded up the chain of command to their phone based customer care. NO HELP. After over 29 emails and phone calls, the phone rep said that the Omaha district manager declined to allow an in-person exchange for even a less expensive Citizen. Im a pretty good guy, hold my temper, and try to be aware of what common sense tells me. BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I havent given up yet, but I wont buy another item from Helzberg as long as I take air.S. WhitehillOmaha, Nebraska

Love my ring purchased 20 years ago. I needed the prongs around the diamond adjusted due to them being bent. No questions asked sent in for repair. Thank you.

Went there to see i could get my ring sized because i lost a lot of weight and it kept falling off. Found out my ring was broken and could not be fixed. Staff did a lot to find another wedding band that looked like my original. Got it ordered and it came in earlier than expected. Really enjoyed the service.

Weve never had an issue with them going to their store in Sioux City. Those guys are really nice and greet you. I love this one.But when we stopped at the one in Omaha mall. We were ignored and no one looked twice at us. My fiance had to stop one of the workers to get help. The guy stopped and said oh you need help and we said yes. We need our rings inspected and then he was on top of it. I was not real impressed. I dont like this one. So my star rating is between 2 and 3.

Great store, very nice selection, and helpful staff!! Love that they are not pushy and help you with selecting the right piece. Also love how knowledgeable the staff is. Recommend stopping by if you have a chance and are looking for jewelry.

My husband and I stopped To glance at the clearance rings, who doesn’t like a good deal? Well I found My DREAM ring and our anniversary was coming up. My husband went back a few days later and purchased my ring. He said they were a little pushy and he felt uncomfortable. He knew exactly what I wanted And had no eyes for anything else. Once he gave me my ring I went In THAT day to get it resized and it took them 5 Days! I was Expecting it to take 2 weeks! I’m excited!

This has been a horrible experience, I ordered a size 9 diamond ring from there and then it comes in as a size 6.5. Now they are saying that I might have to pick out a new ring because they can’t size up the ring??? Do they not understand how much money is spent and sentimental value of these items??? They are not easily replaceable and they are not cheap. If I order something in a certain size MAKE IT THAT SIZE. I am beyond irritated and now I have to wait two weeks just to get an answer if it is getting fixed or not .

I will never return to Helzbergs. My ring has been wrong not once, not twice but now 3 times! Most recently I have been without my ring since 11.11 and it was just returned to me 1.2. My ring was originally soldered together and made way to small, it was then fixed by the same jeweler needless to say he slapped it together and the rings where not straight. This last time I took it to another location with an in-house jeweler(the Dimond in my ring is my grandmothers I will never allow it to be sent somewhere) the informed me that the gold in the tang was to thin and would have to be replaced and this would take time, I was fully aware that this repair would take longer than standard. When a month passed I had heard nothing about my ring so I called the store, the store manager explained that they had to order 18k white gold to fix my ring properly and it was not in yet, fine, BUT why was I not kept informed that this would take even longer than planned AND you are a National jewelry store. The manager and I agreed to an update call on 12.29, big surprise no call. I called on 1.1 and no one in the store knew anything. The store called my husband 1.2 and said the ring was ready. Upon pick up of the ring it is still not as straight as I believe it should be. I will never recommend Helzberg Diamonds to my worst enemy, I will tell anyone who asks to stay clear and I will never not tell them exactly the nightmare I have been through.

Erin and Kristin were great to work with and made the ring buying process very understandable to a layman like me. I went to three different jewelers and Helzberg won my business mostly because of these women. They were informative, kind, and very involved in my choice. I have enjoyed working with them and will recommend them in the future.

We have only gone to this location for years now and they have been with us every step of the way. From promise ring, to engagement ring to both wedding bands and even my wedding day gift from my husband. We love all of the sales people, very friendly and personable. They always remember us when we come in! Wouldnt go anywhere else!

Jessica is great to work with. I have bought multiple items and had custom work done and she has been very helpful in the process. I always wait until she is working to come in to buy new items for my wife. Thanks again Jessica for all of your help over the last 4 years.

Purchased my wifes wedding ring from here a couple weeks back, first time I ever purchased a ring, let alone went looking for one. My customer service experience was awesome, I did not feel pushed into something I was not interested in. I had done my homework prior to entering any jewelry store so I had a base knowledge to work off of and what to stay away from...In all my sales person was very professional, she allowed us to inspect multiple rings/diamonds before picking one.. I would recommended this establishment for 1st time buyers that are skeptical and intimidated by jewelry stores, I know my wife and I were..

Bought a jewelry cleaning machine...barely works and when it does the jewelry isnt very clean.

Staff has always been helpful. Jessica in particular has been a huge help in getting our engagement ring and wedding bands.

Everytime I visit the store the staff is super friendly and make you feel like you are the only one there even if it is just for a cleaning.

Jessica was awful to work with. She was aggressive, rude, and condescending in the way she spoke to me. Her pushy questions about which companies Ive shopped with were unprofessional. She said she had worked for the company for 6 years, so I would expect her to have a higher level of professionalism and customer relations than she offered. When I noticed that the experience was rapidly changing from special to salty, I walked out. My business will be going elsewhere and I would never recommend this store to anyone.
