Very disappointed with this company. A constant run around. My mother has a 10+ year old C-Pap (which is supposed to be traded out every 5 years) as recommended and still fighting to get a new one for her. Been with this company far too many years than Id like to admit. Get the same supplies ordered and still seem to show up with missing supplies, but sure the insurance company is still being billed. Probably a good time to switch companies, so she can finally get a new C-pap and ALL supplies needed to keep her going. I dont have time nor the patience to be shuffled from person to person to get even a partial supply needed. I also suggest ENGLISH since that is our native tongue. Always get some foreigner you can never understand as them us. Probably the reason for messing up the supplies. Changes definitely need to be made.
They were fast at getting us my husbands oxygen so we could leave the hospital
Have had great experiences with Apria Omaha with oxygen tanks & concentrator. Prompt service, good recommendations.
I would never use this company again. Nothing but a run around. Once my knee scooter was approved they told me they had to special order the scooter, it could take a week or longer. Ive been dealing with this company for a month now and I still have to wait.
I have always found the customer service staff to be nothing but helpful, professional, and courteous. The delivery service for my liquid oxygen has always been on-time and issues that may arise are promptly resolved to my satisfaction. Posted on behalf of Elisabeth Morris.
My father has been trying for over 3 months to get his c-pap machine. Countless prescriptions have been sent and it has been verified that they received all of them then each time a few says later they say they’ve received nothing. These idiots are putting his life at risk. They are unorganised and tell him off when he calls. 10/10 would not recommend. Go somewhere else.
They are charging me for services that I didnt order and it is impossible to reach the billing department to correct it. The local branch is unable to address any billing issue. Hold time is usually over an hour and I have been hung up on without being answered after 45 minutes.
Once I got in touch with the local branch, they were extremely helpful and had great customer service. Derrick was on time and very responsive. The 800 number was a nightmare!
Danny was VERY helpful in getting us an emergency mask while we were traveling to Omaha (as we forgot to pack ours)!! Highly recommend
Outrageous tank exchange time of 8-10, set up day before. This is because the “guys” leave @ 10. If the healthy females there can’t lift the tanks then how can they expect me to? Rating 000!
Short: Apria could not locate my account info for over a week and a half. My Insurance company faxed it to them and Apria said it would take 7 to 10 business days to process it again. They said they would not escalate the process even though it was original sent to them a week and a half prior. I am without my medical equipment as a wounded vet.
I would NEVER recommend this company for your home health durable medical equipment needs. They are absolutely aweful! You never get to speak with the same person. Their management is terrible. I asked to speak to a manager and he stated I dont know what to tell you I dont know anything about this. Well LOOK INTO IT THAT IS YOUR JOB!!!! I am in the healthcare business and I will NEVER recommend them to any of my patients again. They are so slow in their process that they allow testing to expire and then the patients have to come in and repeat testing to get the equipment they need. Some patients have come back in 2-3 times to repeat testing because Apria has dragged their feet getting them what they need. Again if you are a patient with breathing issues DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT.
Horrible service. It sounds like a call center half way across the world instead of an office in Omaha. The people who answer barely speak English. They ask the same question but repeat a different answer back. For example, if you say youre calling because you did not receive your shipment, they respond, so I understand your machine is not working correctly. Same thing with spelling your name, takes 10 minutes because they dont know the alphabet. Then their automated call system phones your home repeatedly for no reason.
Dropped off my prescription for a nebulizer almost 2 weeks ago and lady told me I would have it delivered to my door next day. Still have not received and every time someone calls me to confirm address and insurance I can barely understand what they are saying. Seriously have had over 5 calls asking me same questions. I waited for 6 hours today for a delivery and finally called them when no one showed up and they said our drivers not delivering today because of weather! Seriously you couldn’t of called me to let me know? What would people do Incase of emergency die? I have asthma and need this now or wouldn’t of dropped prescription off in person. I also gave copies of my insurance cards and filled out papers with hopes of speeding up the process. I DO NOT recommend this company at all.
This company gives patients the run around, never has the order, says it will be delivered and it isnt. Continually claim it is going to be delivered in 2 hours...2 hours pass and nothing. Poor customer services overall and clearly not patient oriented.
They have done fraud on my account . I was told I needed a Cpap so I started looking around I contacted April to get prices the ask me for my email address I gave it to them then they ask me if I wanted them to send a contract I said no that I was still looking about a hour later I get a contract in my email I never signed it I deleted it . The next thing I know a week later a box shows up at my door from them with their name on it I never opened it I sent it back to them in the meantime I got one from anouther company that I was very happy with . Then I look at my Medicare statements and here is April charging Medicare $980 for the machine and rent on the machine and other charges . I called Medicare and they said it common that they couldn’t do anything about it .What is wrong with this country no wander we are in dept so bad .I get billed from them every month and endless phone calls from them I try to call them and tell them I don’t owe them and nobody answers the phone and when they call me it’s a computer call and you cannot talk to it .they suck all the way . They are still charging Medicare and they are still paying them that is the dumbest thing I ever seen . Not only trying to rip me off but they are ripping off our country . Don’t forget to pay your taxes so you can give it to the China M F .
Ive been with Apria for over 4yrs nothing but helpful courteous people working there and I will recommend them to all my friends and family and to anyone who needs oxygen Apria is the one for you simple the best!!!!!!
Horrible company!!! Phone calls are routed to overseas call center that is of no help. You will spend hours trying to contact someone who can help with no success. I have spent 4 days trying to get a pair of crutches that were prescribed by Doctor and approved by insurance. I still do not have the crutches. USE ANOTHER PROVIDER IF POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!
Apria overcharges the insurance company by three times or more times. Google what you want and you will find it at a fraction of the cost ! I highly recommend choosing a different place for your business.
Billing fraud. I dont know how else to put it. The last time Idid any nusiness with Apria was in 2003, yet suddenly, they are claiming I rented equipment from them in 2015! It is a boilerplate phone sustem trying to rectify the situation, they just expecte to pay for something I never received. Period.Complete fraud! Runfrom them as fast as possible.
My experience with apria is very bad. I did not get a bill this month. to get ahold of someone is terrible, I called on the phone pressed right no and it just kept going on with different no. to polk. Never did get any where. So dont put late charges on my bill. If things dont improve I will go to a differerent company.
The worst home health care experience I have ever had! I was promised an urgent delivery--meaning within two hours. The delivery of my equipment to keep my daughter from going into respiratory distress took over eight and a half hours. I had seven phone contacts with Apria from the time the order was sent in at 3:00 p.m. until it was finally delivered at 11:30 p.m. I also had contacts via email and fax. Every time I called Apria they couldnt seem to find all of the information at one time and they would start the process over again. I was also promised a phone call from a branch manager. In the four days since this debacle the only phone call I have received was from the billing department. It seems they dont have communication problems when it comes to receiving money, they only have problems delivering the care they are in business to provide.
Sick of trying to get in touch with these people. ugh.
Terrible -- avoid!
