Very busy. Lots of variety of food. Love the new self check out lines. The staff is great, friendly and will help you with what your looking for. Great place to shop for all your groceries.

This location at 7 a.m. on a Sunday is like walking amongst the walking dead. Passed no fewer than four store employees w/ no acknowledgment, much less a good morning. The two manning the check-out were locked onto their phones like infants w/ pacifiers (no greeting from them upon checkout, either). The whole deal was actually kind of funny, and its worth a trip if youre looking for that twilight zone vibe. Straight zombie-land.

Im not sure why Publix gets great reviews. I have had so many bad experiences including stealing and nasty comments from baggers and cashiers. People that work at this location are corrupt. There are several problem staff members that ARE NOT KIND. Though I will admit most of them are really good -- just a few bad ones that ruin it. Many of the locals who shop here are VERY UNKIND and say nasty things to people. Just really bad people and experience when I go here. I can only guess its the nasty churches around here. There is a catholic church there. The churches seem to be the worst at treating people well locally. This store though is ALWAYS TERRIBLE! This store embodies the STINKERY that is OVIEDO.

Publix never disappoints. Publix employees are ALWAYS professional and (most importantly) the friendliest!

Publix, where shopping is no longer a pleasure when they only have one register forcing you to go the self checkout (which I hate that theyve added considering how much they value customer service). Then everything I scanned kept asking me if I was using my own bag. Tried to avoid using self checkout at all cost but it looks like theyre really pushing for lack of customer service and interaction.Used to love shopping here.

Terrible service in the bakery. Tried to place a sugar cookie cake order and they said they didn’t know if they could do that, I said I’ve gotten one made there before and they checked with their manager - then I was told there was a sugar cookie shortage so I couldn’t. Thankfully the Winter Springs Publix pulled through and took my cake order with no issues and no sugar cookie shortage… so weird how one side of town has a “shortage” and one doesn’t.

The staff is always friendly and the seafood guy always remembers I dont want spicy sauce on my sushi.

Publix decided to place self check out lines. 😬They are HORRIBLE! Worst than Walmart!It was one check out line with a cashier opened but she was busy!Decided to try the self check out. Great farm and feed store in Oviedo. The owner and his staff get to know us by name and go above and beyond to provide great service. Definitely lucky to have such a great place for our Geneva community.

My 1st time coming here about a month ago. I loved the place how huge it is. They have an area where thr bread is made fresh -what a sin, I just cant help myself -i love bread. There is so much not just groceries they have other small stores inside. I kept going back and will. Continue to shop here.

Honestly i might change the Publix i shop at currently and drive the extra 2 or 3 miles to this one. Wow what a difference but both are great. This one seems better w/o a doubt in my my mind though. Just wish i didnt need to watch my spending so closely and i could afford to do all my shopping at Publix instead of another that prides themselves on low prices. With the others low price it seems you get terrible services, poor quality, rude employees, rude customers, poor cleanliness etc. Flat out Publix is superior in all those areas.

The grocery store part of Publix is not the problem. It is the hot side with the hot foods they Always have limited stock on the food that you would like to purchase for lunch or dinner every time I come here sometimes I’ve have to wait 30 minutes for something. What’s today when I went in there upset me entirely so I might just switch myself going to a different Publix instead of this one because of the lack of preparedness for the Oviedo area.

We went grocery shopping at Publix and we were pleasantly with surprised to find the place empty at around 10:30 in the morning . We went a day early on Thursday instead of Friday, nice to navigate around the supermarket without many people :-)

Normally I don’t like store bought baked goods. Theirs is so good. Excellent mini cupcakes when you have cravings.

Deli is usually an issue. Plenty of staff, but not great customer service. They just all glare at each other to see who’s going to serve the next customer. The brunt of the work is dumped on the newer workers.They hardly ever use the numbered tickets, this just adds to the chaos of “who’s next”?The deli at this store is definitely what I would describe as the cog in the wheel of an otherwise pleasant shopping experience.

Customer service is very good

I have been going to Riverside Publix for almost sixteen years. Everyone working there is so nice and kind. But Dusty goes above and beyond. He is the nicest and most helpful. He always has a smile and makes sure everyone is finding what they need.I have just became a Shipt Shopper three months ago. Dusty always welcomes me and asks if I need anything. Well today I needed some help. He stepped up and showed me were the item was with a smile on his face. I wanted to tip him, but he said he doesn’t take tips. Thank you Dusty for helping me and always willing to help everyone. Thanks again!

Pleasant experience to get quick shopping

Not a customer at Publix YET but I got the chance to meet Olin a worker for Publix and in our short interaction outside of his job he became a promoter for Publix and honestly he was very convincing why should I go to Publix. He said while Walmart has variety and may be cheaper sometimes he informed me that at Publix it’s the service, good quality products, and a clean environment. I have not gone into a Publix since I was young but because he informed me about the quality of services and his easy way of speaking I am now happy to say I will be shopping at Publix not because of the things he listed but because if he is on his day off and is willing to represent his company to me that shows it may be worth shopping there aswell. Thank you Olin for the talk and I hope you may be able to see this review and know you got yourself a new customer.

Vegetables are not as fresh as they should be for the price.

The best place.

Im generally content shopping at this Publix on a regular basis. Great selection, although vegetable quality seems to have declined over the last few years, and the seafood department seems cursory, at best.HOWEVER, went in yesterday for a typical visit and was shocked to find Publix employees not wearing masks. I must have observed 50 employees and only one was wearing a mask. Not even deli, meat or seafood workers were protected - and protecting the customers. Although they were limiting the number of shoppers in the store, they were not treating carts and there were no sanitizing wipes or hand sanitizers at either the entrance or the exit.It was horrifying to be exposed to that level of disregard and contempt for the health of the community, much less that of the employees. I got out of the store as quickly as possible, and will try to avoid it until it is less risky.

Nice store. I go there a couple times a week. The staff is great! Right now, as expected, they are out of some things.

I mean, its a publix- so all the staff are wonderful and kind. That being said, if you are looking for gluten free options, the other nearby University Palms and Alafaya Square locations have much better stock.

The reason Publix is the best place to shop! Their florist is an absolute genius! Tonight was a Daddy Daughter Dance and I completely forgot to order my corsage in advance and the florist had made extras for those scatter brained parents like me. Joey from customer service went above and beyond to find out what they had left in the extra stock, I was on hold for about 10 minutes while he and the rest of the team made sure I had one for the dance, he continued to check on me and let me know I was not forgotten making the wait well worth it and he was so attentive while I was on hold.

Publix Subs....The legend is true. Stopped in for some for myself, and my sons... Never disappointed..always great. Clean and well stocked....it is easy to see why Publix is as big as they are.

I love this Publix. The staff works very hard to give the best customer service. All departments have someone who is willing to help and they will not hesitate to ask if they can help you. To the people writing bad reviews, you must have gone on an off day because this Publix is the best! (Also, please use some grammar and punctuation).

Couldn’t return any of the products that had quality issues so I opened a dispute on my card and Publix denied it. I won’t be going to Publix at riverside anymore

I ordered a small meat and cheese platter for Christmas. It was disappointing. Presentation was terrible. All of the cheese was at the bottom. Piled up high!!! Just bad. This will be the last time I will order a platter at Publix. I always do my shopping there. This is too bad because it is convenient !!

Wonderful store! I live right down the street from this Publix and every time I shop at this location I get nothing but friendly help from every single worker I came across and cleanliness. The managers are great at their jobs which is obvious by how fantastic the store is ran. I have never once had any reason to waste my time by driving to another publix, this one is just so convenient. I once had a boy who was sweeping end up walking me to find 3 different random things on my list which I simply had no idea where they were. I have lived in different areas around Florida and shopped at probably thirty different Publix locations, this one is by far, hands down one of the best stores I have shopped at.

Great selection of groceries and of they are missing something you like they may stock it is you talk to the manager.

This Publix has always been our prime location for subs and deli meat but here in recent times the quality has taken a big hit. Not only the deli but also the produce. We have been coming to this location since they opened. We have never had issues, always happy with bogos. But this year the fruit is to ripe at point of purchase making it impossible for us to eat it all before it spoils. We run into issues with Publix pre packaged meats, the ziplock never works properly and I imagine it is a simple quality control issue. Long story short, if I spend the extra money for quality I expect it.

This is our favorite Publix close to us. Its far enough away from the college to avoid the crowds. Staff is very friendly. Product is always fresh. This is always clean and easy to navigate.

Cashiers are very nice! But the produce section always has old stuff. Never enough fresh veggies which is why I shop at Publix. Cant wait for the new one here to open because most Publix have awesome produce!

It is ALWAYS good to shop at Publix. Today tho I wanted to report Michell, from Customer Service, who went above & beyond what I would assume her job description is. When I asked her to call someone to load the heavy bags of water softener crystals for me, she grabbed a cart, loaded the 4 bags, rang up my entire order and loaded it in my car. Cuddos to her and Publixs customer policies.

I will always and forever give them 6 stars... not 5. They truly lift the shopper expectations... to another level. Thank you publix.
