I ordered a recliner in May 2021. I was told there was one in the warehouse and I would receive it in July. July came and went and when I called they said it would be August that it was being made. The beginning of September I called and again was told it was being made. The same for October. The beginning of November I called and they told me it was being made then I was put on hold for about 10 minutes and when the guy came back he said there was one in the warehouse and they would have it to me in three days. When it came it was the chair that I ordered but not in the color that I ordered I wanted Burgundy but I got brown. When I called I got the runaround claiming that the color ID numbers were a match for burgundy. My manager was supposed to call me but I have yet to receive a call. I spent $2500 on a chair that is very very nice and comfortable just not the color I ordered so that’s why I’m only giving it a two

Walked into the store just before closing and Mason gave me excellent service!! I was able to pick my chair, my fabric and pay for it in a timely fashion. They told me I had a 7 month wait, but I received a call from Mason that my delivery date was much sooner than expected. Will definitely use this store for future home purchases. A really great experience! Kermit was my sales representative and he has fantastic customer service skills and made an over the phone purchase extremely easy! If you’re looking for anything La-Z-Boy related ask for Kermit! He exceeded my expectations!! This was a surprise Father’s Day gift for my father and he worked with me to have it arrive in no time flat and it was a wonderful experience!!

The sales manager, sales associate (Nijha), and store managers were all professional, pleasant, helpful, and very, very, very patient with me. I was interested in purchasing a sectional, which La-Z-Boy has many options to choose from. One day, I unknowingly arrived 10 minutes before closing time, but the store managers still took the time to assist me. I also made a few visits/phone calls in between making my final decision and each time I was provided with excellent customer service. I am very pleased with the service that I received at the Owings Mills location.

My experience at lazy-boy was good except for they didnt want to sell the chairs they had you had to order them and it could take up to 2months or longer they even had a chair that said sold but still had it on the floor and they said that the model that was there was discontinued so I just dont understand there way of thinking

Purchased two couches on Nov 1, was told we would have them in four weeks-picked the colors that would deliver more quickly (some were much further out). The delivery was delayed, but no one tells you. Unless you call for a status--no one tells you anything until the couch is ready to be delivered- nothing in between. I called as the delivery date passed and they had one and not the other (they werent going to deliver until they had both--but literally never mentioned anything via text, phone, email, anything.) Ok, well take one-- thats a start. Both ends --the mechanical reclining ends- of the couch were broken--it took hours to get to customer service and the first open service date was over two months out (she got us one earlier because it was a safety hazard as the one side tipped-like it was going to dump you out). They are helpful-but the hold time is INSANE. About a month after delivery and two visits later- the couch is operable . The repair guy was great- just didnt have the parts. When the second couch was delivered early am yesterday (7-8 weeks after the delivery date)--jumped in quick and tried to recline it-- SAME DAMN THING. Delivered another broken couch. Wouldnt recline at all. Rejected the delivery because when I called the store, she said I would have to call customer service to get it fixed, they wouldnt schedule it for me--because she didnt sell it to me, the manager did and she wasnt going to get in the middle. So if you accept it, even though you paid hundreds per couch for additional coverage, it is your problem to get it fixed-the delivery people, sales people--dont arrange for any services for you. It literally takes hours on hold to get to customer service - and months to get an appointment unless a safety hazard. Rejected the delivery- as she kept reiterating because I accepted the delivery I had to make the calls etc. Luckily - I hadnt signed or accepted anything. The store said the manager would call. It has been equivalent of two business days as this happened at 9:30am-- and he hasnt (he was also our salesperson). Really disappointed- thought we were buying quality but--youre not (it is maybe plywood underneath--seen it upside down plenty of times now, I really should know by now. Some plastic guides that were broke on the first--were broke on the second.) You think you are buying service- youre not. $6,000, hours on the phone and 85 + days later and still waiting. Good luck

We bought a 3 cushion sofa less than 2 years ago and one of the seats caved in. When I called for service, they said that It would cost as much as the sofa. La-Z-Boy made quality furniture that lasted for years in the past, but in todays manufacturing standards, --dont waste your money. And they dont stand by their warranties.

Being at home made us realize how much we needed a new couch. This is my first La-Z-Boy purchase and so far I am beyond impressed by the exceptional customer service I received! Your website is user friendly helped us found the perfect couch. Two days later we got a phone call from the awesome Sales Associate to go over the sale. He then told me he would call me in 2 weeks with an update. That personal touch meant the WORLD.

The customer service is basically non-existent at the Owings Mills store. I purchased a sectional in August. At the time of purchase, I was promised the furniture would be delivered by Thanksgiving. I did not hear anything from my sales representative even though I left messages asking for update on delivery. Once I finally talked to Max, he told me the corner piece was back ordered but he would call me the Monday before Thanksgiving with an update. I never heard back from him. I called customer service later. 2 weeks later. They told me the earliest they could deliver it was Christmas Eve. I am not sure it will be delivered even then. I would not recommend La-Z-Boy for purchasing furniture. I will never purchase anything else from them.

Had a great experience with Kermit at the Owings mills store. We described the feeling we wanted from the furniture and what extras we wanted. Kermit knew his inventory. Made suggestions and answered questions. Never felt rushed or pushed. We laughed a lot too. When I asked why he didn’t show us a particular recliner he answered with how it didn’t meet our needs and wants, ie. was too narrow or too hard. Or no lumbar support. And each time I tested the recliner, he was right. We were confident he was trying to match our wants and needs and not just selling. Over 40 years and several sets of furniture buys, this was definitely the best experience!! Thank you Kermit amd lazy boy - where customer come first!!!

Failed to deliver furniture by promised date. Never received a single phone call or update from La-Z-Boy. When I called for updates I was told specific times I would receive the furniture by but those days came and went without even a contact. Called back, new excuse, new date, and they still couldn’t deliver by that date.Update: Now the furniture that we were told last Friday had already shipped, won’t be shipped until January 24 (5 months after purchase). We were told and it is printed on the receipt approximately 3 months. No phone call to explain the delay. I had to call.

They were 20 minutes before closing, Yet he took his time showing us Amazing Furniture. We left Proud New Owners of a Lazy Boy sofa. Lazy boy had been in our Community for several years. Excellent is the best word to describe my experience at La-Z-Boy. When my condo was flooded out five months ago by a water sprinkler accident two floors above me, my entire living room and dining room furnishings had to be replaced. I went to La-z-Boy based on their excellent reputation and furniture quality. I was not disappointed. The personnel were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and, just as important, patient. My designer possessed these same qualities and went out of her way to help me get the perfect look! Many thanks to Max and Abbie for their kindnesses. My furniture was delivered last week. Lied to about delivery time, would not price match, employee that rang me up had his friend around him the entire time he had my bank card information and I had to monitor my accounts to make sure my identity was not stolen for a few weeks. They said it would take 2-6 weeks and it took over 4 months. I paid over $1000 more than the price match they guaranteed. Employee lied to me saying he was the manager and I could not talk to anyone else when the actual manager was not in the building; then the actual manager did not care his employee lied to me about everything. Long story short: would never buy from again and they still owe me a refund for pricing/extra time.

Lucky we kept trying. First your web site is a disaster. Tried to order a chair after store refused to take phone orders do told me you must use it. We tried web site for the Randell but it WOULD NOT accept or show upgrade for foam or fabric protection but high profit ( for you) I finally got great help from Amber in Monroe. She tried several internal fixes but they didn’t work. She kept trying and calling. She made the sale work. She brought Max in who handless completing all the paperwork and upgrades.Great teamwork by Amber and Max. Saved the sale and a long term customer. Please fix your website before foisting it on the public. I paid slightly more with Max’s help but gave my son a great Christmas gift. I spent several hours of my holiday to buy it. Went in the store in early January to take advantage of the sale. Salesman was new, but very eager and willing, or so it seemed. He ran into an issue and requested assistance from the manager. We waited. We waited longer. My partner got aggravated and spoke up to the manager who got rude and combative. We went in with full intention of purchasing new den and living room furniture. I requested a written quote to be emailed, which we never received. Fast forward until last Saturday. I went in again to look at a rug. Same sales person, recognized us immediate And apologized for what happened last time. We proceeded to ask for a quote on a rug. Promised by email, and today, I’m still waiting on that email. I ended up ordering my furniture from the Waldorf store after the incident in Owings Mills. Waldorf store was very accommodating and helpful. Called them today about a rug quote and had it in my inbox in 5 minutes. Owing Mills store customer service is horrible I’ll never go back.

The manager at Owings Mills store was wonderful and very helpful. Sadly, she was the first person who could assist me in any way. I was told by original store we visited that I needed to call a different store to check on something with my order. I called that store and was told I couldn’t change anything because it was beyond 3 days (even though my order hadn’t even been started yet). She gave me a number for a third store to call. That’s where I ran into Sheri who was very helpful (finally). Just seems like a lot of people are not really sure of things. Not a good experience

Overall I cant say enough about the customer service we received from Sherri Jackson at the Owings Mills MD location. We went in with one item in mind, and she helped us through all of the selections -giving great insight. When we got home we didnt like how the fabric looked so the next day we went back. We no sooner stepped in the door and Sherri came right over greeted us and helped us make the right choice for us! We took forever but she was so kind and patient. I felt like she was a friend helping us! Customer Service is more important than price to us - but this La z Boy Gallery has it all. We had a unique situation in that my 92 yr old mother needed a new recliner to replace her 30 yr old one. We called the La-z-boy store near her and spoke with the local sales force. Max Cline was also their e-commerce rep and we couldn’t have gotten a more knowledgeable person to help us navigate the site. Since we live in Pa and mother is in Md we thought it would compound the situation. The site featured just the right leather recliner-the Kirkwood-beautiful styling and gorgeous leather. It’s a very nice high quality product at reasonable pricing. I always weigh how much return I am getting for the price I am paying. I like the quality of the furniture and the fact that it is made in the United States and the lifetime warranty on certain parts such as the handle and springs of the recliner. This is a really mixed review. I enjoyed the people that I dealt with. The offered me a 5 year pet protection and comprehensive warranty for 12% of my sale price. Considering my dog ate my last couch, this is a pretty good deal.Unfortunately, since getting the couch, one of my manual recliner handles broke. Their warranty centers solution is to send me the part and let me do it myself. I was instructed to call back to schedule a technician after I try to do the fix myself.I will admit that everyone that I have dealt with either in person or on the phone has been courteous. Im just not fond of these policies. I do not feel like I have gotten my moneys worth.I could have gone to ikea and gotten the same couch for half the price and then not cared if something broke and I had to fix it, but if I spend close to $2,000 for a couch and warranty, I want everything to be covered without having to jump through any hoops.

I ordered a custom made power recliner in October 2018. The experience worked out in the end, but it makes me very hesitant to return to order future products (and I was looking to furnish a basement family room, as well as upgrade the upstairs living room one day.)The sales lady at Owings Mills was very helpful with letting me test the models & explaining the online ordering process and how long it would take to make my order. I had no issue ordering my product online and all the sales personnel checked in as they were supposed to. It was ready in the estimated time frame. Owing Mills set up the delivery and that was fairly quick. This is where things get dicey... When I received my order, the very friendly delivery men came in and set things up. Things appeared great and then several hours into having my new power recliner it goes dead while Im in a reclining position. At this point, the Owings Mills office becomes useless. Im required to call a Customer Care Center. That young man was really helpful and turned my estimated approximately 2 week appointment date with a repairman into a few days. The repairman was also very friendly and insightful. He warned me to never ever let Lazy Boys delivery men handle my furniture as they are clumsy and regularly break things, as they had done with my new power recliner. The machine box that powers everything for my recliner had been cracked in half??? It took another week for the new box and remote system to be delivered and then another few weeks for the repairman to come back out... January 10th. My recliner was stuck in a reclining position for several weeks while I had to wait. Im happy that its fixed now, but I spent a lot of money to have this happen. I dont know about trusting them again with a larger furniture order.

We were greeted immediately and warmly when we entered the store. We told the salesperson/associate what we wanted and she showed us several models. We were quite pleased with the products and the service and we made a purchase.

Recently got one of their amazing couches the store was clean, all sales staff were nice and courteous. I never felt like I was being sold something I wasnt in their to buy. They even delivered on Christmas Eve day, no complaints. Will be coming back soon to get a new recliner.
