I’ve been shopping at this store for a while now only because it’s convenient for me it’s on my way from work. If I could I would never shop there. This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Almost every single time I go in there, I have to deal with these employees that make me feel like they want to fight me for shopping there. Tonight after The young rude cashier finished scanning my grocery he had trouble getting my card go through so he called a supervisor. That was the last thing I was expecting. The supervisor came out rolling her eyes at me like I did something. The first thing she say to me was swipe your card in a very rude and disgusting manner. She kept rolling her eye at me like it’s a crime to shop there. 2 hours after this I’m still thinking about it and feeling very bad like I did something wrong. In fact I was simply trying to get some groceries and go home to my family. Worst customer service ever

I asked to speak to a manager to see if they supported School Supply Drives. Melissa told me he (the manager) was busy and that she would help me and that she covers five stores. She told me in order for them to give us a 10% discount Id have to send an email to another person whose name she wrote down. It was illegible so I had to ask her to tell me the email address aloud. I sent him our email along with the list of supplies from the school were supporting, and the flyers for supply donations and supply recipients. My issue was with the way she addressed me and the fact I received NO response to my email. We had donations from people and businesses and the children and parents that got supplies were happy. Staples gave us free supplies after we sent a letter. We look forward to continuing to developing relationships with other businesses that will have a respectful, honest, peaceful conversation about helping children in the underfunded school district of Philadelphia who live in an under-served and whose parents are struggling to make ends meet. This ShopRite and all others are now OFF my list of stores to patronize until I see them take boxes into a school near ALL of their locations! Im watching!

Long lines and having to buy bags for almost 400.00 worth of food. Customers should be given some kind of bags for their food. Thats my opinion.

The worst. I will never come here again. Today was my second and very last time ever coming here. Both times was very disorganized and long waits. They have A separate beer and checkout, yet they allow people with 20 items and no beer to check out there, And the self checkout girl watched me stand in the self checkout line with wine in my hand, only to wait until I got ALL THE WAY TO THE SELF CHECKOUT MACHINE to say I had to buy the alcohol only in the alcohol checkout.. how unprofessional. She clearly saw the wine in my hand

If you care about your health don’t come here. Only half the people are wearing masks and half of them are wearing it appropriately covering the nose and mouth. This includes staff as well as shoppers.

You spend alot of money in there and they try to sell last day to use meat at very high price. I also bought some lunch meat that was dated the 29 the same day I bought it and when I got home the next day it was slimey. The acme at least have a deal on there old meats,buy four packs of ur choice for twenty dollars. They also can give out boxes to put ur can goods in to.

First time there and its a good place to shop. Seafood prices are ridiculous now but other than that I enjoyed the experience

I always shop at this location because its closer to home.I love avacados,but lately nearly all the avacados i buy go bad before they are ready to be eaten. Can you please change where you get your avacados from.

PLEASEEEEEE GET BETTER CARTS, THE ONES YALL HAVE CAN BARELY PUSH AS IF I HAVE 2 OR 3 PACKAGES OF WATER . THEY LOOK OLD AS HELL. AND WE WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN.

I like the convenient location of this store, but since some of the convid restrictions have been lifted they have stopped cleaning their carts there’s no sanitizer wipes available anywhere in the store. We are still in this pandemic!!!

My shopping experience was pleasant from the door to check out. Very clean. There was a worker singing about cleaning carts while personally wiping down your cart which is nice to see during a pandemic.

I had a catering order and thought that I could pa for the entire order but was sent to each department individually and the workers were not welcoming especially the bakery. However, I recieved help from an older woman at the beer garden who was knowledgeable and assisted me with everything.

SEAFOOD! SEAFOOD! SEAFOOD!!!!I love philly for a lot of reasons but one of my main reasons is we can get our seafood seasoned, and steamed for free at the grocery store. Its amazing. No one does that in NV, NY, or NJ. Not Atl, Dallas, or Colorado. I couldnt wait to get back here and get my seafood. The customer service at the seafood section is amazing, the young guys that were working at the salad works had such a high level of customer service I tipped them 5.00. Its always a good experience when I visit this market.

Its okay. Kind of hard to get the two seafood counter clerks attention even though I was the only customer waiting for service. One was just staring into space and the other had an expression as if he wanted me to just go away. 🤷‍♀️

A great shopping experience while visiting Philadelpha during the pandemic. They had canisters of sanitizing wipes and some other essential items not available back home.

Always well stocked! They have vegan items as well. This place is clean and has a great selection of produce and international foods. They also have a great bakery and a nice selection of cooked foods. You can get almost anything here. Cleaning products and pet items. Baby food and baby supplies. I have also found toys and books for kids here often. The prices are good. Well worth the trip.

I always visit this store when I am in phl layover and its very well priced and the staff are helpful. I came back after a year and was surprised to see the arrangement changed as in they have got food stall!!! The salad bar stall is good and the portion is generous too.

Went in this shop rite to try the food from better box. It was my first time trying their food. AWESOME is all I need to say!!! I m glad I went!!!

I think its ridiculous when you go to a place that has ready to eat or prepared food and you cannot get a plastic utensil. I went to three different locations that should have had it available and still I had to get a manager because I was getting the runaround. He apologized and gave me an unprotected spoon. surely it should have been wrapped in cellophane as he is handing it to me with his hand. Not even the cashier for that area was able to hand me a wrapped spoon or fork. Smh. Good management would not have to worry about such. his team would make sure the customer is properly serviced before it went that far.

I pay for 99 to have my groceries shopped for and then I go and pick them up its a pretty good service but because of our mayor and Governor shutting things down and screwing things up theres a lot of things that this store is out of so its hard to get everything that is ordered but that is not the grocery stores fault. Even if I were shopping I wouldnt get what I wanted so either way it doesnt matter. The service is nice and the employees are great to bring the groceries out and answer the phone.

Have really great prices. I dont know if it was a sale or not but everything I purchased was at prices I wasnt expecting. I just stop passing through the neighborhood. My total was much less than I thought as I walk to register 😅. Have to check my neighborhood and see if their prices are the same, out of curiosity 🙃

Helpful Associates and a very clean environment

I like this place because their meats are reasonable, its economical to shop and they have the best Sweet Potato Pies that tastes like home made.

Love my store

I loved their hot food station and deli for the variety of pre-packed meals offered,the vast selection of seafood,poultry,and baked goods was excellent,and most general items such canned goods or paper goods you could easily find throughout the store. Social distancing guides and sanitizer stations placed throughout the store and staff was friendly,helpful,and knowledgeable.

The store is huge. It has a PNC, a spirits shop, sandwich station, buffet, Western Union, bakery, dining area, lottery and everything else a grocery store would have. The store is packed with stuff. Sales are on point. The staff is a little rough around the edges, but for the most part friendly.

I came to try Jordon Johnsons Seafood. I ordered the fish fried rice. It was delicious. I love the fresh vegetables and herbs they use in this dish. Its refreshing to have great quality food out of a supermarket. I will be back.

So to ShopRite Market I decided to go,In search of the springs I craved.The winds it did eerily blow.But I felt that the day could be saved.There were stalls selling crisps,Buns in many shades.There were even stalls selling lispsPeople were scattered from many tradesI was greeted by a peculiar lady,She seemed to be rather smallI couldnt help thinking she might be quite shady.I wondered if she was at all screwball.

Online ordering is not so great. All bananas were bruised because they were thrown into multiple bags instead of the 27 bananas all in one bag. Ive yet to receive everything I order online and I didnt get my receipt telling me what they were out of. I also order #2 2.5lbs of grapes and only received one package of 2.5lbs. it just seems to me things that take an extra minute to find are just checked off out is stock. I do shopping for others myself and I know its a pain in the rear sometimes finding things but Im being compensated so its my job to ensure I really take care of the groceries Im transporting. The ladies and gentlemen that answer the phone and bring the carts out are very friendly and courteous and I do appreciate the service. I just wish extra care would be taken bagging like with like to transport home.

I live in the cut, which means Im subjected to the food deserts that socially ravage this country, so I have to travel to this shoprite in order to find non perished produce. This shoprite is much better than the one on my block for sure but it still suffers from low to little stock of items. If I cant find items on my list they still have something I can at least grab to eat. Which is decent considering I have no options or substitutes in my area.

Everyone works there are very nice and hardworking people. I always enjoy shopping there.
