Went in once during the pandemic (pre-anyone-having vaccines) with my two kids. Was shocked the owner not only was not masked, but was also not respectful of social distancing in the small, cramped shop. I asked her where to find something and she came from behind the counter to try to walk right up to me and my kids and show me and I had to say you can just tell me from there, thanks; you are not wearing a mask. While we were there, 5 other patrons entered including two kids, not one was masked, and greeted the owner. The store policy was unbelievably disrespectful of everyones safety. We left as quickly as possible and wont be back. Disappointing because this was my go-to secondhand store for kids clothes which is the reason Im giving 2 stars instead of just one.

Absolutely packed with clothes. Seemed to be about half adult clothing and half elementary-aged kids. Not much for babies, which is what we were looking for unfortunately.

This is the best clothing resale store in the entire Tri-state area. I have traveled extensively and I have not found a nicer owner and staff and a clean well stocked store like this one anywhere. Everything looks brand new and the entire store is very well maintained. The clothes are priced right and the selection is quite diverse. If you are looking for used clothes that look new at a great price then look no further than a Childs Wardrobe. I guarantee you wont be disappointed.

Incredibly grateful for this local shop! I’m able to dress my family without breaking the bank. I was laid off at the beginning of the year due of the pandemic, so I’m unable to shop retail right now. But I’m not sure I ever will again.. They have everything we need. Thank you!

They have a nice selection of clothes, with most prices being reasonable. Sadly, during the pandemic, the cashier (owner?) is not wearing a mask. I thought it was a one off, but I went shopping there again (since I usually find a nice item for a decent price), and they were not wearing a mask again. I think its time for me to find somewhere else to shop secondhand during the pandemic.

I like supporting local businesses and this shop has a variety of things for everyone! Mia is a single mom who works very hard to have quality products in her store. She cares for her elderly parents, including a father with dementia. I have known Mia for years through her store. She started her business as a way to support herself and her infant instead of public welfare. I give her a lot of credit. It’s been hard this year for everyone and I pray for Mia and everyone in this difficult time.

I went in The Childs Wardrobe for the first time today. The selection of name brand clothing was great. Everything was in excellent condition. I will definitely go back soon.

I love this store! I frequent it often and always find true gems! It’s easy to update my entire wardrobe each season for a fraction of the cost! I highly recommend A Child’s Wardrobe and Adults Too. I have my 22 year old daughter hooked and she shared this place with her friends and they love it too. I just bought a brand new pair of Tory Burch shoes and a beautiful Brighton purse!

I left with some great pieces for my new baby boy today! It was definitely worth the trip.... Packed with choices for all sizes. Bonus was the owner was super friendly. That always makes the experience that much sweeter! Hi Mia!

Nice selection of second hand high end kids clothes. Prices a bit high for used clothes, and staff could be more cordial. Worthwhile stop if you aren’t touchy.

Seller beware. Dont bring in more than 4 items at once.The owner told me to have a look around, instead I watched her toss carefully folded clothes and coats and throw them all over the place.She paid me 7 for 3 great items. I came home with the bag where she shoved nice clothes and noticed a dress she DID NOT WANT was missing.I drove back that dress was hanging on a sales rack! In the confusion she stole the dress!She smiled and said oh, I forgot to pay you.BS. Owner is a thief.

What a treat for my family and me:  A Childs Wardrobe and Adults too  opened around the corner in 1994 when my daughter was 6 and twin sons just turned 2.  Yes, MIa has dressed my kids, my husband and I for that many years!  The store is also a consignment opportunity:   Mia has also sold my  fashionista-cousins high end outfits, so theres something for everyone.  Lots of new items with original price tags too.  Need a new pair of socks? warm gloves? or an umbrella --- this store has everything, even nice leather bags and shoes!   (During the holidays, my brother who was visiting from Florida, stopped by and bought himself a beautiful cashmere sweater and a Steeler sweatshirt.)   Mias store is one of the reasons why I love living in Squirrel Hill. If you are having a not-so-good day, Mia is super nice to talk to and buying something beautiful at such a great price will make your day, guaranteed.

Ive bought and sold clothing here and I love it; its a total hidden gem. They have a great selection of clothing for kids and adults, and their consignment payout is generous. I only wish the retail space was bigger!

I just got a compliment on my Dooney & Bourke purse today that I got at A Childs Wardrobe. The woman I spoke with says she paid over $300 for a second-hand purse on line. I paid $60 for mine! I just got a Louis Vuitton last week. They both were in pristine condition and I am very pleased!
