Absolutely 10/10 recommend this boutique. The second I walked in, my mom and I were greeted with smiles and instantly asking what color i was looking for, what style of dress i was into & then even worked with me to pick out dresses for me that they thought I might like. I had come into Style Exchange Boutique to offer a dress for consignment. The staff was very friendly and chatty, and helped access my dress and walked me through the consignment process. I felt they did a good job in publicizing my dress on their website and instagram. When it sold I was able to come in and pick up my check.Ill certainly sell here again, and Ill be back to shop. They have so many items so Im sure I could spend an hour or two poking about.

Not sure why people seem to like this place. From what I have seen online and in store the items seem to be overpriced and outdated. They dont seem to be things that most people would like, such as a bunch of vineyard vines long sleeves that look like theyre from 2015. Been looking online for months to try to find something I like to spend my store credit on and theres nothing that good. Definitely other, better small businesses in the Pittsburgh area you could give your money to.

They also run reasonable sales on Instagram and other social media outlets! And Dana, the owner is such an independent, strong, beautiful woman that I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know over the years from stopping by! This place was fantastic.Took my kid there to look for a homecoming dress. The two employees were incredible. Immediately introduced us to the store and where everything was located, brought armloads of dresses back to the dressing room, and basically were perfect. We ended up buying a lovely purple dress that was SUPER reasonably priced at under $50.I’d recommend this place to anybody who needs to buy a dress - and I’m a 42 year old man.

Ive been a customer and a consignor at Style Exchange Boutique since it opened. It is, by far, my favorite consignment store in Pittsburgh. The selection is amazing, especially the special occasion dresses! They have all my favorite designers under one roof and the customer service is outstanding. As a consignor, I feel their consignment agreement is much better than the other consignment stores I have been to. It is very clear and concise without having any restrictions on the number of items brought in, a good commission rate, and my items arent marked down every 30 days. I would recommend this store to everyone!

Never sell your items to this boutique without knowing that they will keep all of your unsold items and not return them. I signed and initialed a contract that clearly states at the very top that I could pick up any unsold items after selected date. When you get to the VERY bottom they make you initial another part that states in small print “I wish to pick up my unsold items.” Ok great, I initialed that part assuming nothing out of the ordinary. Then after that it states “the only items eligible for pick up are luxury items over $75” So I guess I just donated my items to the store for profit if they don’t sell within a certain time frame the owner wants! What BS. If I had known this scam artist was going to keep my belongings I would’ve never given her them to sell. She did manage to sell a pair of Burberry rain boots I gave her and after she took 50 percent of the profit she then charged me a $20 fee on top of it making my profit a whopping $60 for a $400 pair of boots worn maybe once! You’re better off selling your stuff yourself on eBay or poshmark. This place is a complete scam for anyone giving this woman clothes/shoe/purses etc. Please please read the fine print on the contract she makes you sign. When I told her about the contract and how it contradicts itself she said “oh I have no idea my lawyer wrote it that way.” Then continued to talk over me until I hung up. Strongly do not recommend. Stay away.EDIT: your LONG SMALL PRINT contract clearly states at the Very top that you can pick up your unsold items after a certain date. It’s by design that at the very bottom in smaller print it states only if items are priced at $75 or more. I called three times clarify multiple times what I was reading because the information was misleading. I’ve sold items with you prior in 2014 and you returned everything that was unsold and probably already charged me your little $20 fee. SO like I said. Stay away from this shop. Never sell anything to this woman unless you want pennies for your luxury items. Not worth it.

I first visited this shop in February to find a snowball dress, the girls pulled all the dresses that they could find in my size and I found the cutest dress about two days before the dance. My cousin offered to buy my prom dress and suggested we try here first, when we came in and I was trying on dresses the store owner surprised me and awarded me with their Belle of the Ball contest!! The ladies here were wonderful. They went above and beyond to help us during our visit. The dresses are beautiful and affordable.

I do NOT recommend this place. I had a pair of Tory Burch booties that were $450 never got returned and never saw the money for them. Last convo I had she had a police officer delivering them to me. It never happened.
