I posted a previous review which I am modifying due to the amazing support that I have received from G&G Fitness Equipment. These are troubling times and difficult to understand how there can be part shortages and delays with repairs. G&G Fitness have provided excellent support and advised me of the difficulty in obtaining parts necessary to repair my equipment.

When my 20 yr. old treadmill died, I stopped at the store to check out the new models. I was greeted by the sales consultant, Mark Bridge. I explained to him what I was looking for in a new treadmill and he showed me several machines from three different manufacturers. Over a couple weeks and three trips to the store, I ran on five machines and asked him many questions concerning build quality, features and price. He answered everything I asked and pointed out a few things I hadnt thought about. Ultimately, I decided on a Life Fitness T5 deck and a Track Connect console. They did not have a new console in the store on the day I bought the treadmill. Mark said he would have to order it and that it would take a few weeks. He didnt want me to have to wait for the new one, so he gave me the console from the floor model to use until mine was shipped to the store. When the new one arrives, he said he can stop by my house and install it himself. I have been running on the treadmill for a couple weeks now. This is a great machine! I could not be more pleased with the new equipment or the assistance provided to me at the store. Well done Mark!

Recently, we walked into G&G Fitness on McKnight Road to find a replacement for our aging treadmill. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly salesperson and fitness consultant named Andy. He spent a lot of time with us, answering our questions and recommending numerous types of equipment for us to try. Some types of fitness equipment are very expensive so it is best not to make a quick decision. After a few hours, we decided on a very interesting hybrid – a combination elliptical and recumbent bike.Both the purchase and the delivery were handled professionally. The equipment was delivered as promised, and on time by two very nice and knowledgeable young men, who then assembled it and made sure everything was in good working order before leaving. After our purchase, we received calls from Andy and Ken (the manager) to see if we were enjoying our machine or had questions. We also got emails with additional info about sites to explore online that would enhance our workout. The personal touch continues to this day, long after the sale. That’s the way to do business!This is a very friendly place to do business. Stop in and meet Andy and Ken, the regional manager.

This review is not on a new treadmill, but one purchased several years ago and repaired more than a few times, twice within 2 weeks last summer. It’s now not working again! The motor, mother board and control deck were all replaced. I’m done! I’m not giving you guys any more of my money!!!Edit:Ken Wunderlin: the name on the account is Brian Lamb ([email protected]). I’m infuriated to say we’re getting a FOURTH repair to this treadmill as the 13 month old motor (new last summer) is being replaced. To say we’re disgusted is an understatement. We will not make future purchases from G&G Fitness.

Ken Wunderlin: this review is for a treadmill purchased 06/27/16. The name on the account is Brian Lamb ([email protected]). After spending $2192.42 on a treadmill, AND after having 3 significant repairs completed (replacing the control deck, replacing the motherboard and replacing the motor) it is now broken yet again! Sadly we have your repair person coming out a FOURTH time for a four year old machine, possibly to replace the 13 month old motor. We will NEVER get our money’s worth as we are spending hundreds of dollars in service fees and labor. I have no idea how G&G Fitness would plan to make this right. We will never make another purchase at G&G fitness.

I had a great experience at G&G about 7 days ago. Brandice was very knowledgeable, patient, and professional through out the process. I would strongly recommend working with Brandice regardless of purchase, or fitness level. This was my first major purchase, and I will go back to Brandice and G&G. I left the store knowing that I had made the right decisions to improving my health and happiness. Thank you for all of your help. I feel better already.

Sarah is not your ordinary employee. Thoroughly welcoming, extensively knowledgeable about the product lines and machines, this absolutely professional lady has put such a friendly face on the business for me while being so informative. This marvelous woman helped with every single thing I wanted to know when I walked in the store and was unclear on my direction to take concerning my elliptical machine. I was highly impressed. Truly the prime example of how a person should run a store. Thank you for her great service!

Mark Bridge spent an exceptional amount of time answering our questions. Never seemed rushed or distracted toward other customers. Made us fee comfortable that our purchase matched our needs keeping cost and benefits in mind. Mark has a pleasant and humble way of dealing with people which is one key to his success.

Ive been doing business with G & G for a while now, and I cant imagine getting better service or product quality from anywhere else. I specifically love visiting the McKnight store. Mark is always great to talk to and has helped me create an awesome home gym. Mark has always been reliable and easy to talk to and is always able to answer ANY questions that I may have. Great selection of equipment in different price ranges. There was no pressure to buy the most expensive thing. Mark was so knowledgeable and willing to spend time with us to ensure we got just what we needed. I highly recommend G&G.

I recently bought a vision treadmill from Mark Bridge. I found him to be one of the best sales consultants I have ever encountered. From the beginning his purpose was to find what I was looking for and to inform me without pressure while keeping my budget in mind. He allowed me the time I needed to think of my decision by following up with options we had talked about in a great summary report.My decision to purchase was directly connected to the very useful information I received about the treadmill along with the politeness and friendliness of Mark Bridge.

I was actually looking for another fitness store (now out of business) when a friendly neighbor directed me to G&G. I had been on the verge of giving up, but I am glad I persevered, because I got to G&G and spent the next hour learning a lot about the equipment I was interested in. I had a great experience here shopping for an elliptical with Kenny. I came into the store not really knowing what I wanted or needed, and Kenny walked me through the entire process. He stayed within my budget and was very helpful to answer questions, even followed up after the purchase. I initially went to some competitors in the area who were not knowledgeable or able to answer any of my questions. I highly recommend this store, their expertise and customer service.

My wife and I had just started researching decent treadmills, and Brandice took plenty of time to provide lots of helpful information, with no pressure. Ended up going back and purchasing the top model Precor and couldnt be happier. Sales experience, delivery & set-up, and treadmill itself all top-notch.

Initially, I had a good experience with buying a treadmill at this store. Mark Bridge gave me useful advices and together we were able to consider a model to match my fitness demands. Few months later when I wanted to buy a water rower - I knew where to go. Additionally I bought a power plate with a sufficient discount as Mark was quick to find me a display model with a good discount.I would definitely recommend this store.

She was not only very well versed in all of the equipment but was willing to spend whatever time I needed to get the right equipment for my needs, AND she was pleasant to work with as anyone I have ever met.After my first visit, I returned to the store with my spouse, and Sara took care of her just like she did for me.So we made what is to me a significant purchase, and I could not be more comfortable that we found the right equipment for our needs.

My husband and I purchased a Precor Elliptical from Mark at G&G Fitness this weekend and we are extremely happy with both the machine and the experience we had at G&G Fitness. Cant say enough about how helpful Mark was in our selection of a treadmill. He took time to explain the various models as well as their price vs. benefits. I have been a customer of G&G for over 17 years, each purchase has been met with knowledgable, friendly, pressure free associates. The quality of products, the fair pricing and no surprises makes the buying experience pleasurable and refreshing. While I dont remember all of the sales associates names, the most recent, Sarah, was exceptional. Her ability to relate to her clients in a relaxed and calming manner is rare. She strikes a balance between family member and life long friend. G&G has a special employee that elevates the companys reputation and excellence. If you havent tried G&G, shame on you for six weeks.

I stopped in at the McKnight location of G&G Fitness to inquire about rowing machines and what other fitness equipment would be beneficial to me. Mark Bridges went above and beyond and walked me through all the different options available at G&G. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the equipment G&G had to offer and answered all the questions I had. I ended up purchasing a WaterRower because I needed a machine that was very low impact but very efficient. A few minutes on the machine and you can tell it is a great piece of equipment and will provide a terrific workout as I progress with it. My husband and I love the look of the machine too! I decided to have the machine delivered and paid to have it assembled to ensure it was done correctly. The two gentleman that delivered the machine and put it together did a wonderful job, it was worth every penny! When its so easy to buy online and have everything shipped to your house, the only thing that would make me trek out to the store is exceptional customer service. As we expand our home gym, I have no doubt that everything we purchase will be through Ken at G&G. He listens to what our needs are and doesnt try to sell us a piece of equipment just because its more expensive. Hes very knowledgeable about the products and what will suit our needs the best. Ken...and everyone at G&G can do everything for their customer short of showing up at our house in the morning to get us on the elliptical or treadmill! I couldnt imagine shopping anywhere else for our fitness needs!

My elliptical trainer was beginning to bother my knees, and I thought switching to a treadmill might help. In addition, I have a one-year old dog with extremely high energy and the need for more exercise in the course of a day than I have time to give him. I thought a treadmill would be good for both of us. I did some research online, and ended up at G&G on McKnight Rd. talking to Mark Bridge. Mark was very knowledgeable and helped me choose a model that met my own needs and my pups (an unusual challenge for Mark, I suspect). I was there in early Dec. and really wanted to get the treadmill before Christmas so I could start burning some of the energy off my dog. Marks prediction was that it might take 2-4 weeks to get the unit in. I dont know how he pulled it off, but I got it a few days before the two-week benchmark. Its wonderful and Im really grateful to Mark for all the extra effort.

Ive been a customer of the store since 2008. Ken Wunderlin is the man when it comes to customer service. Hes given me great recommendations, knows my goals, and knows the right equipment for me. I met him once and he remembered my name and equipment immediately when I walked in several months later. The store is well-stocked, and if for some reason it doesnt have what youre after, Ken will find a way to get it for you. Ive been a repeat customer for the past 6 years and Im sure I will be for years to come.

I recently purchased a Precor treadmill from Mark Bridge at G&G Fitness. I couldnt have been happier with the process and the purchase. After spending many hours over many months researching treadmills online and visiting G&G a few times in person, when it came time to finally make the purchase Mark made me supremely confident in my decision. He even gave me a few different options to reconsider based on our needs and target price point. He is extremely knowledgeable about the products and seems more interested in making the customer comfortable as opposed to simply making the sale. I decided to stop by G&G Fitness on my way home from work one night to inquire about an Inspire Cardio Strider. I met Sarah who walked me through each of the type of strider they had to offer. I am very limited in using exercise equipment due to an accident causing pretty severe arthritis in my ankle. Sarah took so much time with me and truly understood my issue. I decided to purchase the Inspire Cardio Strider CS4 and for the first time in 18 years since my accident I have a piece of exercise equipment that puts no strain on my bad ankle or joints, is whisper quiet and is actually fun to use! Mark Bridge, the Fitness Consultant at the Mcknight Rd. G&G Fitness was very helpful and provided a great buying experience! Mark had extensive knowledge of all the machines and equipment in the facility, and knew what to suggest based on listening to my wants and needs. He created a positive and friendly buying atmosphere, unlike many people that can be pushy and force you into the new and best product out there. Mark was only focused on solving my needs, and getting me the most optimal products for me. I even got to the store about 10 minutes until close, and Mark stayed about 40 minutes later to make sure I was completely taken care of. He was patient the entire time, and probably wouldve stuck around for another 2-3 hours if I needed him to! If you want a personable and positive buying experience on any fitness equipment, I suggest going to this G&G Fitness and seeing Mark! I will be getting other equipment from them in the near future.

Picked up an inversion table that was a floor model. The whole experience was really good. However, manual said there was a DVD that came with the table, but I guess not the floor model. :-(

We decided to buy a rower from a local sporting goods store and made a big mistake. We returned it the next day and stopped into G&G. We worked with Sarah and she was very helpful. We went with a Waterclub rower and absolutely love it! I now realize you get what you pay for...especially with fitness equipment. It can be easy to fall off the workout wagon, and I can see that be more likely with the flimsy, noisy, cheap ones. Get the good one and you have no excuses!

We bought Precor cardio equipment (a treadmill, bike and elliptical) as well as an Inspire M3 weight machine and a set of free weights from Mark Bridge at G&G Fitness.He really has taken good care of us from the beginning and even came to do some quick service work or check on us after the sale.Our home gym looks (and functions) like a commercial gym. Andy Toth was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful as we were looking for a water rower. There was even a small part that was missing from the equipment and Andy drove to the warehouse so we cold have it the next day.

I have been a long term customer of G&G Fitness going all the way back to the Banksville Road store. I have nothing but great things to say about everyone associated with G&G and that goes for their service team as well. My favorite individual and most enjoyable interactions, however, have been with Ken Wunderlin. He is very knowledgable and always sets me up with the right equipment at the right price. I have a number of pieces that I have purchased through Ken. They have have provided me with excellent service over the years and remain in service today. I will certainly seek out Ken for my next purchase. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I would like to share my wonderful experience at the G & G McKnight Rd store. I stopped at G & G to look at tredmills. To my disappointment I missed the hours of operation by a few minutes. As I began to walk back to my car I heard someone call to me. It was the consultant, Mark Bridge, who invited me into the store. I told him I was in the market for a tredmill for basic use and also had limited space in my house. Mark was very professional and provided excellent information on several models. I purchased a Life Fitness Folding Tredmill. Mark secured a quick delivery date. I would highly recommend G & Gs equipment and Mark Bridge as your Fitness Consultant.

This is the place to go for fitness equipment in the Pittsburgh area. We had just canceled an online order for a treadmill from another company because they shipped the wrong one and at that point we were very nervous about the poor customer service they were known for, so we just asked for a refund and declined their offer to send the correct treadmill in 3-4 weeks. Instead we decided to go to G & G Fitness and are very glad we did. Every concern we had that caused us to cancel the online order (poor service, difficulty reaching a person for issues, company not standing behind their product, horrible service tech support) was completely addressed by G & G and the brands they sell. They deal with some of the best brands on the market (this Precor treadmill is a tank!), the brands stand behind their product, and if we need to speak to someone we can call Mark at G & G. We talked with Mark Bridge for over two hours. He is very knowledgeable and friendly and let us try out all the models. This guy knows customer service! He even gave me a drink after I was running for a bit on the treadmills and then ran out to our car as we were leaving because we forgot something! All around great experience which will bring us back to G & G the next time we buy a piece of equipment.
