The corporate office needs to help these people out. They never seem to have enough people working there. They can’t even answer the phone and it always seems to take forever to get an RX filled. Currently on hold for 26min. This has been a long term issue not just because of covid. They need more help.

I was told they are 14 days behind in filling prescriptions. I understand that they are shortstaffed, but they cannot be reached by phone and when you speak to someone at the drive-through and they tell you your prescriptions will be filled in two hours and five days later they still havent been filled its frustrating.

This review is about the pharmacy. Absolutely the worst customer service. They always have an excuse why things are not ready. Most of the associates are rude. I wont go to the inside counter because you are purposely ignored. Ten plus people working and not one makes eye contact with the line. Ive stuck with them because their location is convenient for me but frankly I cannot take it any longer.

I have never posted one review, good or bad, about any business in my life. I cannot take it anymore with this place. I have to say something. I cannot get anyone on the phone (waited on hold for the pharmacy for 2+ hours today). The staff at the pharmacy almost never fills my order correctly, and I’ve been going here for 9 years. And they are not pleasant at all - sometimes downright rude. CVS corporate needs to review their staffing and procedures. Horrible management.

My husband had a terrible experience at the State Rd Plymouth CVS pharmacy. We understand that you are short staffed but that is no reason for rudeness and disrespect! The elderly gentleman in front of my husband was waiting and could not understand the delay and was told “ the more you complain, the longer you will have to wait”! Another gentleman had been back 4 days in a row for his prescription! My husband received info that his prescription would be ready at 2:15 on Friday and when he arrived yesterday afternoon it was still needing to be processed. It was not so much the delay but the rudeness of the technician.We love the rewards and the front end staff but I’m afraid we will not return to the pharmacy at this location.Ellen Johnson

The worst. If you are so understaffed, close the location. This CVS is downright neglectful in everything they do. Zero consistency and follow up. Seriously....the WORST pharmacy.

I wish I could give negative stars.“Understaffed” is not true at all. Tried to call 3 times, each time on hold for 30-45 minutes before just hanging up. I get there and there’s so many people behind that counter…They NEVER tell me when they run out of medication. They send me on a wild goose chase every time I need this script.Absolutely horrible.

CVS notified me via text requesting more information to complete a prescription. On two occasions, trying to supply needed info, I was on hold for in excess of an hour, never to have my call answered. I ask, is this any way to run a business? I understand being understaffed, but this experience is totally unacceptable. NEVER again will I use the CVS at 517 State Road in Plymouth, Ma. An added note, I tried to provide information requested online, with no confirmation of receipt.I would have given NO stars, but review would not be accepted.

Takes an hr every time I call to get a person in pharmacy not always right on the prescription and late getting the prescription when called in from doctors office oh one last thing those non stop robots calls....changing to wallgreens

I have tried calling this CVS pharmacy for 12 days straight to see if my sleeping meds are in stock at this location. No matter what time of day I call or how long I stay on hold for (which is always greater than 45 mins), NO ONE ANSWERS!! I just don’t understand why they even have an option to call the pharmacy if no one ever picks up!!

On hold for the pharmacy for two hours today, that is ludicrous.Would not recommend this CVS for any pharmacy needs. the past three years they have gone way downhill in service, response time, customer care and just kindness. Stay far away from this store. You will thank me.

Worker who was moving stock to floor was not wearing a mask . When I asked him where his mask was he pulled up a gaitor . I continued shopping and then once again he was bringing stock onto the floor without a mask . I told him he needed to wear a mask and I was going to report it . He said “oh ok” . He didn’t pull up his gaitor . One employee heard the incident and said he should be wearing his mask . This is unacceptable and I will follow up with DPH

Literally worst pharmacy in the entire planet I swear on my life.

Self checkout is now apparently mandatory. Sorry I dont work for CVS nor do I need training on your registers. Unless of course your employees want to come to my place of employment and do my work. You will be opening a register for me every time I come in...even for gum. Update: CVS management has still not contacted me on this despite saying they would in 24hrs.

WORST PHARMACY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH! My mom & I both started using this pharmacy when we moved to the area because they were the closest but we have problems EVERY TIME WE NEED A SCRIPT FILLED

Cvs has always been my trusted pharmacy.This specific branch has always gone above and beyond to help any needs to and from doctors with little to no hassle.Thank you for making my life a little bit easier. If Ive ever had to wait,there has been good reason and they expedite quickly and always do the right thing.Thank you staff at CVS.

Frustrating experience in the recent past. Pharmacy gave inaccurate info regarding the pneumonia vaccine, didnt have it in stock anyway (after making an online appointment and being told that the online system cant see actual inventory for a specific store). Rude woman behind pharmacy counter said I could come back and speak to the pharmacist....who would be back in two hours! Told her this visit had already cost me 30 minutes of back and forth driving, to which she replied were all inconvenienced these days. Wait times on hold to speak to the pharmacy are ridiculously long. Complaining to corporate office got a typical we understand your frustration and well look into it reply. Never heard back. I would avoid this location if at all possible.

They have what we need, at reasonable prices, and are always professional & pleasant. Store is well stocked, and they do offer some healthier options for drinks & snacks. Our neighborhood go-to store. Also, although noticeably short-staffed, their Pharmacy is always helpful, timely & fantastic at handling the constant heavy flow of customers. I really appreciate the professional ladies in the pharmacy.

Melissa is so helpful! I was having difficulty with ins info. I spoke to multiple CVS reps as well as my own ins co, who tried but were unable to fix my issue. I spoke with Melissa who I feel went above and beyond and was able to rectify my issue in a very timely manner. I am very happy with the service at this location!

Overall the pharmacy is good. They are understaffed often but the staff are friendly and most of the time fill prescriptions in a timely manner. They are good about answering any calls and have addressing any questions. Their front of the store staff have changed within the past few months and I find them to be more customer friendly now.

This pharmacy is very under staffed for the volume of customers picking up prescriptions. Waiting time at drive thru can usually be a long wait, be prepared!

Recently switched to CVS at 517 State Road in Plymouth and find the staff friendly and helpful. Nice change from my old pharmacy that appeared to take my business for granted. Thank you CVS

This is the absolute worst pharmacy. Their Customer Service skills are non existent. They speak over you when you are trying to convey the issue you are having. There is no consistency with whoever you speak with. They charge the wrong insurance (which was never given to them). One person tells you they can order the RX to have there the next day, only to be told by the next person you speak with to check the status, that no one has it within 20 miles and tell you that you the customer, now have to search other pharmacies as there is nothing they can do to help. Then when you go to another pharmacy, this CVS had the audacity to put a claim through even though they just told you they didnt have it on the shelf, or within 20 miles ~ so the next pharmacy to process it, got denied as refill to soon.Ask for a Manager, placed on hold for 3 minutes (after being on hold a total of 10 minutes in the two calls prior to get to the bottom), only to be told by the next person, the Mgr is on vacation.So much for putting customers first.#doyourselfafavorfindacustomerfocusedpharmacyinstead

Horrible service on prescriptions. 2nd time I’ve tried them. Always same answer 2 hrs. after my Dr sent in a Rx ... “It’s been a terrible day today.” I’ll have it ready in 10-15 min. Changing pharmacies!!

Worst pharmacy on the planet. Always call ahead to see what time your prescription will be ready, then add an hour. The only 3 times i have been here, they say theyll expedite it and it will be ready in 15 minutes. Never have they been on time. Ill have my future prescriptions sent somewhere else.
