There are many options for storage these days and I have had the opportunity to try many of them from coast to coast. For my business and personal needs, this facility is hands down the best. What truly makes this company work is the people they have running the locations. The management at the Plymouth location takes customer care and service seriously and does a fantastic job!! Hats off to Hunter and the staff at Extra Space Storage!

If you love unjustified price inflation i highly recommend these guys. Literally doubled my units monthly rental price.....just because of demand. Funny, ive never seen it go down based on lack of demand. They dont offer any thing extra. No hot towel and champagne when you enter now. No massage or kick backs. Same service but for more. What a scam.It doesnt matter that ive been there for over 2 years. Doesnt matter that i pay my bill on time. The good thing is there are many storage places that are less money with in 5 blocks.

Love this place! Echo what all other positive reviews have mentioned so no need to add to that. Found the setup and registration process to be very well handled from the locker reservation to the final account setup. Special kudos to Shawn who did a great job providing a comprehensive review of available units and overall facility management. I am especially appreciative of the locker access. Sunday access had been an issue at the prior facility I was at but with Extra Space, not an issue. Office is closed by facility is accessible. Love it!

BEWARE! BEWARE!My unit had many items stolen with no payment from their insurance co.these items were stolen by the adjoining unit pulling items through the opening each unit has at the ceiling.BECAUSE THE LOCK WAS NOT BROKEN THE INSURACE COMPANY WOULD NOT COVER THIS.

The employee who helped me was excellent...showing me the reserved unit to see if it was satisfactory, explaining other options& reviewing contract terms with me. We could not have had a better experience with Extra Space Storage at a more challenging time! We had movers that didnt show up and had to frantically find a storage space and truck in order to close on our home in time. I was able to speak with an operator after hours who connected me with the location near us. Shawn was absolutely fantastic in quickly helping me secure a space and ensuring we got the best rate. The entire process was so easy - signing documents online, text communication regarding charges and easy access to our space. We felt so good about having our belongings temporarily stored.

I spoke with Deb today and she was so helpful! She helped alleviate a worry I had about moving. I did a lot of research on storage units. Extra Space Storage was the only site that was interactive so youcould see what fits in the space. They also had YouTube videos to demonstrate what fits in a unit. This was SO helpful! Inside and Climate controlled as well, so I do not need to worry about my things getting dirty or ruined due to the elements. Highly recommend them!

I immediately had a follow-up call by Shawn, who was absolutely fantastic in making sure I had the right unit based on my needs. Great, clean, well-kept space. Staff are always helpful and friendly and provide great customer service. As an example, Craig was helping me replace a light in my unit, noticed a separate issue, and went out of his way to fix it. There may be slightly cheaper options around, but none are so convenient, being right off the highway, and none I’ve checked out have such consistently helpful staff. Definitely worth it.

Felicia was awesome!I have had a unit for two years, it was only intended to be temporary, but I had a child and am working.I had been struggling with happiness with this storage, because my rent goes up another $30 every 4-6 months. And it was hard for me to afford my 10x15 unit that I used to pay under $100 for.(I got it on special online)I have an armoire, recliner, desk, dressers, sectional, coffee table, chair, clothes, and many boxes filled with family photos, precious jewelry, among antiques and collectibles that I just couldn’t afford to lose...in a 10x15 unit. But this unit became $210 a month..I just could not keep up with the increases.And couldn’t afford to move.So Felicia found an amazing deal for a 10x10 unit for half of what I was paying. And was super patient and attentive to all of my concerns while I was in there with my toddler trying to see what my options were to downsize.She was so awesome and this building in general is very clean. Just wish there was a dumpster for us renters. But then if that were the case, people like me who have to move quick and sort later, stay in units longer because we can’t dump what we don’t need.

Shawn is friendly and responsible, and the space has been clean and secure each time Ive been there. I have a couple of storage places closer to me that would be a shorter trip, but I feel so much better about this facility and staff that Im sticking with this one anyway.

This is the best place ever for storage. It is very secure and actually fun to store your stuff. Easy to get to. You drive in. Its cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Very clean and the best thing is the manager Felicia is knowledgeable, friendly and just a all around great person.

This place is super clean, incredibly easy to get and out, and the location couldnt be more convenient right off the freeway. Clean and well lit. Carts are available for moving in and out, elevator works great. Full size truck fit inside so didnt have to move in the elements. Highly recommend!

I love this place! Eric, the manager on site, is incredibly helpful, always kind, and in my experience always available. They are small business friendly in every possible way. I have had deliveries & pick ups made there and Eric has always been there to make sure the truck was able to get in or the pallet was able to get out properly. It is a really busy location, so sometimes that is a challenge, but I think it is busy because the service is always 5 stars. I would rather deal with busy than deal with crappy any day of the week. The facility is clean & well maintained. No complaints.

The store manager, Felicia, called me this morning to follow up on an online reservation I placed yesterday. I am the assistant manager at the caribou coffee right up the road and was working at the time. She was super understanding and I told her I would be stopping by later this afternoon. I have recently moved to the cities and needed storage as I am temporarily downsizing from a 3 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apartment. The website was informative, the manager was helpful and friendly, and moving everything was easy as there is covered parking (it was pouring), push carts, and an elevator. I am a teacher and my unit is large enough that I can get to my classroom supplies fairly easily which is important! Quite happy so far.

I was surprised by the cleanliness, easy access, security, and the free moving truck. The new manager, Krista, was very pleasant to work with. She was busy with other customers at the time and she managed to coordinate a good flow of customer service in a timely manner. The use of the free truck on short notice was a bonus because it was raining and my pickup would not have worked.

Since Extra Space took over our storage locker facility, they have made many upgrades. Recently, LaDonna has come on board as Assistant Manager. She has gone above and beyond to serve us as customers, including opening the doors during inclement weather to allow us to drive in without having to exit the car and use the key pad to open the doors. I was being price gauged and overpaying for our unit. I was paying 95 dollars for a unit that should have been 38 dollars.When I went to move my stuff out and complain about the cost, Felicia Christy, the manager, told me that I wouldn’t be given a refund. In addition, they are keeping 15 days of rent for this month.I asked to speak to the district manager and Felicia gave me an email address that just goes back to the store. Meaning, the complaint would never make it to the district manager.This place is a rip off. Avoid like the plague. This is a greedy, unethical company.I’ll be contacting the Minnesota Division of Consumer Protection. If I’m not given a refund, I’m going to take the company to small claims court.
