Very rude I needed to use the restroom and was told no. And my friend was going to have work done on his car and Mr Hill back out of the agreement I would recommend not to use hill automotive to any one he word means nothing.

Best mechanic Ive ever known. Ive had to visit Rexburg twice in the last year. Both times I had car problems and Rick was able to fix the issues and get me back on the road faster than I expected and at a fair price.

Rick is an amazing mechanic and really knows his stuff. He’s very nice, honest and easy to deal with. I now recommend everyone to go to him to get work done. I had an issue with a misfire on my truck and after replacing plugs and some coils and still having the misfire I’ll be honest I though to take it somewhere else which I did and I regretted going anywhere else. The other mechanic shop had me replacing all kinds of things that didn’t really need replaced because it turned out I actually needed a new motor. I was in a tough spot with moving out of state in a week and so I was desperate to get it fixed soon. I then went back to Rick and told him my situation with spending all that money on it and moving soon. He understood my situation and fixed my truck in a matter of a couple days. In fact the motor arrived on Thursday and the truck was fixed by Friday morning. I really feel like he went above and beyond any of my expectations and I am grateful for that. He was also cheaper that any other place around. Overall my experience was great at Over The Hill Auto with Rick. Don’t waste your time and money at other places like I did, just go the Rick for your auto repair needs.

Rick is fast and fair. He’s helped me a couple of times get in and out fast and he knows EXACTLY what he’s doing. Don’t know too many men that work as hard as Rick. Give him a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Put in a motor in my father-in-laws truck. Did it fast and for less than anybody else I called. Great mechanic!

Had an appointment for 9:00 this morning and I showed up and he said he didn’t know I was coming because his wife never told him and I called 5 more places and couldn’t get in. I needed it done today because my old truck was going to leave town today to get a paint job. He never even apologized.

We broke down and we where from out of state (WA) which is 12hrs from home. We took our Dodge diesel in to him to diagnose the problem, he discovered we had a bad injector, we ordered all the parts for him to do the repair, we left it with him on a Monday, he called us Wednesday morning and told us it was done and ready to be picked up. Rick was super nice and very honest, I would recommend him to anyone. He was a life saver for us. Thank You Rick

Over The Hill Auto is the only place in town I will take our cars. Rick has done brakes and sensors on our Chevy Traiblazer, brakes on my Nissan Altima, suspension and paint work on our Mustang, and even helped with the timing on my VW beach buggy. It doesn’t matter what kind of car or truck you have he can get running like it should. If you want a “car guy” you can trust at fair prices, Over The Hill Auto is the place to go.
