I take my car to Big Bend Auto Center a lot. Theyre really good. Theyre fast too. I used to drop my car off for the day, but found that if I wait for it, it always takes less than an hour if you arent getting anything complicated done. I know some places tell you you need to get this and that flushed and everything when you bring you car in, but not Big Bend Auto Center! Honest business!

Ive been their client for a few years and have no complaints on their technical ability. Just one thing I think they can do better. They seem dont have a dedicated receptionist and instead have their mechanics talking to clients, doing things like scheduling appointments, answering questions, etc. And I dont think the mechanics are very friendly to clients or happy doing the receptionist job; they feel grumpy sometimes. If they instead have a professional receptionist, I think their customer service would be much better.

The transmission in the motor of my windshield wipers broke during a storm and I happened to come across Big Bend Auto Center just a few blocks down from where I was...Mike was absolutely wonderful. He didnt have the part on hand, so he called around to a few places to get the part and had it couriered over to get me (and my 80+ year old friend) fixed up WITHIN AN HOUR or so. Everyone was extremely friendly! We enjoyed hot coffee and chocolates while waiting! I thought I was going to be looking at a very unaffordable fix, I mean, HOW DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN TO YOUR WIPERS!? The price he told me, my jaw almost hit the floor! It was ALOT LESS than what I had expected! I really didnt expect for someone to have cared that much, we REALLY APPRECIATE IT. I HIGHLY recommend this auto center AND MIKE. THANK YOU AGAIN! 5 stars!

Fantastic service. I called about a burned out tail light bulb and they fit me in the same morning before I went to work. The guy at the front desk said “I couldn’t let you drive around like that and get a ticket!”. I also mentioned that my tire pressure was low and they put air in all my tires even though I stopped by last minute. So grateful for this place! Definitely coming back here for future car repairs and maintenance.

Ive done maintenance here before and its been quick and easy. I also got a vibration fixed (tire failure). Got my car in at 7:30am, at 8am they identified the issue, and by 11am they fixed the issue. Great service, friendly, and professional!

I cannot say enough good things about Big Bend. We lived in St. Louis for two years, during which Mike and the rest of the incredible team and Big Bend always served us professionally, with great honesty and top-notch work. Whether it was standard emissions inspections, oil changes, or some bigger ticket repairs to a 2005 Lexus RX330 (with 180,000 miles!), we always knew we were getting expert service. When they thought something could be a problem in the future, they would point it out, but did not push to get it done. I always felt they offered up their expertise in whatever job they did, big or small. If you want someplace that will take great care of their customers, Big Bend is the neighborhood shop that truly respects your business.

I was referred to Big Bend Auto after taking my vehicle to Coats Brothers (Cooper Distributing on Manchester at Tamm.) with a serious problem only to get my vehicle back with an even bigger problem. Great team! I’m 4 hours away from home and my A/C evaporation drain tube was clogged causing water to pour out into the passenger side floorboard. I called 6 places and they were all full for the day or about to close. I called and Matt told me to bring it by and they could help me out before they closed. I was in and out in 5 minuets and didn’t have to worry about my floorboard flooding while I’m on vacation! Awesome job by some great guys!

When you move to a new city it can be hard to know where to take your car for reliable service. I have been very happy with the service that my car has received at Big Bend Auto, but more importantly I have been very happy with how they have treated me as a customer. This is one of the rare mechanic shops where I have not felt talked down to as a female car owner. When I have had occasion to be in the waiting area, I have noticed that they explain car issues to male customers in the same way that they talk to me about my car. Big Bend Auto has been an excellent shop for my needs. I am a DIY kinda person when possible, but when I come across issues I cant handle, this shop has always taken care of me. The work has always been done well and I have never had any issue. This most recent visit I had asked for 2 tires to be balanced but they accidently did all 4. They didnt charge extra though, they just charged what I had originally asked to be done, and it turns out that I did need all 4 balanced (saving me from wear and tear I wouldnt have known about otherwise). They owned the mistake and fixed the problem, thats the kind of accountability I like and thats what will keep me coming back.P.S. I never write reviews for any place, but these guys asked me to and I want to help them since they went above and beyond for me.

Amazing. The guys there helped me replace my broken tire for free even though I’m not an existing customer. What’s more, they helped me reach the tire company and got me a tire for free. They completely took care of it for me and the only thing I needed to do was to receive their call, show up, and take my car.I reached out to service center at the dealership, and the dealer service center said I need to pay $150 for a tire because it’s not under warranty; however, the big bend auto center went out of their way to contact the tire company themselves and got me a free one.Highly recommended.

Everyone I was in contact with was very kind and knowledgeable. I got a Safety and Emissions test here, then had to get something fixed as well as an oil change and everything went very smoothly. The pricing was good as well as the communication I received - would definitely recommend.

Great place! I’m not well versed in car issues, but the team here helped explain everything to me. Very fairly priced. My rear passenger window broke (wouldn’t roll up) and they were able to find a solution in my price range. Never felt pressured to “spend more”. Great management, very personable.

First time user of Big Bend Auto Center and I can honestly say They have a repeat customer here! I called multiple times and Tom was very please take on the phone! I used them for an emission inspection and I was 30 minutes early and was totally fine with waiting until my appointment t time but they got me right in. Dave did a great job informing me of my next possible manufacturers required maintenance and even gave me quotes for the above. They rocked out the inspection in about 15 minutes despite what looked like they were beyond swamped! Good on you Big Bend Auto Center for staying true to excellent customer service!

These guys might just be the best mechanics in town. Expertise, no BS up-selling or any of that stuff you might find at other mechanics or your dealer, courteous and friendly, absolutely ZERO mess left in my car (seriously they make it feel like they weren’t even in it), and I could go on. I was driving across the country with my son and his car started acting off. We still had a day and a half to our destination. It was Labor Day weekend and no one had any open appointments. I called Big Bend Auto Center and they told me to come by and they would take a look. They took it for a drive, hooked it up to their computer and told me what was wrong. They said it should be fine to wait until our destination to get it repaired. Its been a few months - I just came across their card. Big Bend Auto is what any consumer looks for in repairing their vehicle. There is no upselling. They tell you exactly what you need to know, explaining in terms anyone can understand. In a sense, they look out for you in the automotive repair industry. Then, when repairs are needed. They know their stuff. Their crew of technicians have such experience of the industry and vehicles. I have taken all my cars there and the experience is steadfast each time to meet the quality I need. They are willing to even sacrifice things themselves to be sure you receive the care and attention needed. Not many other shops do that.

I called and requested an appointment on Labor Day (they were closed). I got sent a text message immediately following and they were able to set me up with an appointment on that Wednesday morning. They are super flexible and speedy. I appreciate their sense of urgency and professionalism.

I have taken my car there before with little things. They did slot of testing for free and were very honest with results. No trying to over charge. I took my car with a check engine light about a month ago. They told me it was a leak in my engine. The cost was 1500. I was not prepared for this. Unemployed and on social security. The first gift was they would give me 6 months for payment which is unheard of. I did call around and the one place I called said oh I know the owner of Bog Bend and he is honest. I knew this in my heart but others told ne check around. So Mike and his whole staff were amazing I say God sent. I went to make a payment of what I could pay and got another blessing. The cost was 1536.00. I payed the small amoint anf they turned the screen around only to tell me someone donates every year to help someone and tney matchI was chosen to be that someone. The cost went diwn to 936.00. In times like now, me being an older omn shows me there are still good people and Mike and his staff are amazingly good people. They did not have to do this they could have sent me on my way. Mike said lets get this car fix safe and causing no more damage and legal so I could get my tag. They were beyond kind. This again was a blessing and a prayer answered. So I say if you want honesty, kindness and a trustworthy place to go with you care Big Bend is the place to go. I know I will alwats be going back. Mike thank you frim the bottom of my heart.

This is the place to go for car problems. You always have to make an appointment in advance, but everyone there is very smart and competent. Also have a waiting room with a key rig Witt lots of different types of coffee, chocolates, and mints.

If I dont work on my car myself this is only one of the 2 place i trust. Specialist are very friendly and helpful. Definitely will use them more in the future. Price is valid and they do massive work!!

Everyone was super friendly and even without an appointment my car was finished in 30 minutes (but dont be like me; do the right thing and set an appointment!).
