My USAF Master Sargent friend and I came out to have have some fun at the range. It was busy, and with Allisons help we were made comfortable and had a stellar time there. What a facility !!! Well thought out, nice areas to browse while waiting to go to the range. Tables to sit at and multiple vending and refreshments while you wait. Not a coffee drinker...but that is available too. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely come back again.

Got there store not open like Google says. Also I thought the worker Daniel was judging people by way dressed. Nice store. But workers need sensitivity training.

My friend(who already have a C&R FFL, also donate and support the GOA) got declined service just because his nationality.The staff told him something like who give you the right to bear arms?Definitely not the first or second time I heard they give my friends troubles.

The new staffs barely know the gun laws, even foreign customers know more about the laws than the new staffs. The services are horrible now and staffs are very unfriendly to foreign customers.

Employee Rich was a fount of knowledge, even though I did not end up purchasing a pistol after 1/2 hour or more that he spent patiently helping me. He was a remarkably fun and kind and I will definitely go back there again and again.

This is the best gun range I have ever been to. The facilities are sparkling clean and the staff is so helpful. Not only do I just get to go shoot. The range officers are always giving me feedback to improve my shooting skills. 5 stars all the way.

I like the range options and the range cost is fair. Lots of events, some of which are free with early sign up. Ive purchased two firearms here, one of them being a SS AR. Friendly staff, but sometimes a bit slow to assist. They support the 2nd ammendment. Wide variety of training available as well.

Everyone here is very nice professional and courteous.It seems they have every Firearms you can possibly imagine here.While there was an hour wait to use the range it was the day after Christmas so we will just come back on a weekday.I am sure we are going to wind up buying our guns here as they seem to be the most knowledgeable around.

We visited Safeside today and were VERY displeased. They lack any type of customer service skills and the store manager doesnt even know the state laws of purchasing firearms. Then turned around and robbed us of $50. Must be how they keep their business open. Were told we couldnt purchase a firearm today but got a much better gun, at a much better price. If you are looking for a good gun store with 5 star customer service and actually knows what they are doing, go visit Mark over at... @doomsdaytactical.

Great place and good people. The range is nice and clean even with the safeside creeper watching you. But the recent policy of only selling ammo to people that buy a firearm is kinda rude. It feels like they are only filling the needs of customers that they make more money with. Thats the only issue Ive ever had.

Everyone here is so incredibly nice, I was made to feel so comfortable and not intimidated at all. The girl at the counter was friendly and gave me some recommendations, the attendant inside the range was so encouraging and took multiple opportunities to show me something or help out if needed (it was my first time, I was there with my stepdad.) I have since taken a concealed weapons class and I’m scheduled for a 1:1 training which I’m genuinely looking forward to. If you’re a woman and you’re wanting to try out shooting, come here. They will treat you with respect and make you feel very capable, these guys are gentlemen and really just want you to learn and be comfortable.

This place is great, and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I started to realize how much I loved sport shooting after I completed a Module 2 shooting class at Safeside Tactical, came home, fell asleep on the couch with my member badge and gun belt with holster still on, woke up at 6:00am screaming OMG I forgot to clean my gun. I then proceeded to clean my gun thoroughly, and waiting until 9:00am when Safeside opened. I was there 5 minutes early. So much fun.

We used a Groupon that was supposed to include 2 boxes of ammo. When we got there they said theyre not giving us the ammo so we had to pay for it. I even called to make a reservation and told them what all it was supposed to include and they didnt say anything about having to buy the ammo. It ended up costing us over $73 when it was supposed to be covered by the groupon.

As always a pleasant visit, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

UPDATE: The owner reached out to me and rectified the issues I was experiencing, which I really appreciate. My experience still wasnt the best overall, but Im glad they cared enough to make it right.Their retail sales section desperately needs help! I made a purchase over the phone, which took AT LEAST 10 min of confusion, being transferred to the wrong number, and system errors. I was then sent a receipt and noticed they had the wrong state on my address. Called back twice within 5 min, no answer. Called again, finally got someone and they said theyd fix the state. I was later sent tracking info only to see they changed the state alright, but still the wrong state! So now my order is MIA in Texas and theres no more of this item. What a frustrating and inefficient process!

Excellent place for gear, range-time and training. Range includes 100 yard lanes for zeroing sights and brushing-up on your long guns and rifles. Inventory is huge and staff is very knowledgeable. Great place for renting a firearm that you are considering for purchase, as they have pretty-much anything you can think of for rent. Decent prices on practice ammunition and cleaning expendables.

Im really disappointed I have heard nothing but good things about this place drove about an hour to get there. The stored Its self was amazing they had about anything you could want in stock.but the staff was horrible i Never got a Hi how are you doing what can we help you with I walked up-and-down In front of the firearms counter stopped and looked at each firearm individually. Went there to purchase a Particular 1911 A friend told me they had But never got the chance to no one ever asked to help me they where to busy talking to people that they knew that came in about 10-15 min after I did long story short i got 2 Boxs of ammo and thats it (I only got the ammo because I drove and Planned this whole trip I wasnt going home empty handed)

Visited Safe Side based on a recommendation from a friend because I have been looking to purchase a smaller handgun to teach my fiance how to shoot correctly. Upon arriving I was greeted by an older gentleman who asked how he could help, and I told him why I was there. He immediately backed up, said he felt uncomfortable, and said he couldnt sell me anything because I was making a straw purchase. He then walked away from me and would no longer pay me any attention. I thought it was strange, so I approached another person who gave me great advice on what I would need and told me about lessons that are offered. It wasnt until I was finishing up my paperwork that I was notified that the original gentleman that helped me said something and got the whole purchase cancelled. The fact that I was telling the truth about my reason for purchasing an additional firearm instead of lying about it from the beginning, and got denied a sale, will be the reason I will not return. I could easily have not mentioned my fiance, but needed honest help trying to find the perfect thing for her to learn to shoot with. I was under the impression that I was being 100% truthful when I said Yes to the question of Are you the actual transferee/buyer of the firearm(s) listed on this form, but apparently Safe Side decided I was basically a liar. Visit Doomsday or Trader Jerrys if you want to be treated like an honest person.

Amazing facility and an even more amazing staff. Highly recommend to all shooters, novice or expert. Staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Very organized and varied retail area. Couldn’t have had a better experience.

I went out with a group of friends not too long ago and the over all experience was great. Anytime that we didnt understand something David, the guy who watched over us, would be more than happy to help us out. The pricing for renting their in-store guns was also great, a lot of great value for a small price. Anyone who wants to take time at a range should definitely check out safe side tactical.

If you asked me at first I would have gave this place a 2 star but Ive come around. The girls behind the counter when you first check in arent the friendliest but I am guessing that has something to do with how they are treated by the patrons. (Im giving them an excuse because I like the range officers and facility). The Range Officers are nice, helpful, very mindful of what is going on around them and even offer tips when youre off on target practice. I enjoy coming here and I feel safe while I am doing target practice. That is a major plus for me.

Great place. Beware, gooogle says they open at 9 AM. That is only the range. For some reason the gun store doesnt open until 10 PM, so a wasted half my early lunch to just sit and wait 30 minutes for it to ACTUALLY open. Pay 2 people an extra hour and open everything at the same time!

Arrived for first time store not busy employees just standing around talking to each other took 10 mins to get waited on, then when guy was showing us the handguns he all of the sudden walked off talking to a other employee and never returned. Very poor customer service

-1 star for the girl at the counter. In most ways, this is the nicest range Ive ever been to. The place is huge, immaculately clean, very well ventilated and the staff manning the ranges are very friendly and helpful. The prices for range memberships, which I bought, are very reasonable and I was happy to get the veterans discount.That said, this is an example of how important first impressions are. The girl who has been at the counter all three of my visits RADIATES apathy, and that she doesnt like doing her job. If management fixed that problem I could not imagine that this would not be a five star experience for everyone who comes in the door. Overall, I decided to buy a membership, but I have to say it was in spite of first impressions, not because of them.

SafeSide Tactical is simply phenomenal. The establishment is clean, entirely stocked, and truly a gem of a place. The staff are professional, great to work with, and always ready to help with any questions. Mitchell and Matthew, brothers and co-owners, are excellent. My wife and I came to the store not knowing anything about firearms or shooting. Mitchell spent over 2 hours with us - teaching us about the weapons, taking his time in answering our many questions, and treated us like we were long-time customers. I went with a group of friends for my birthday. Ive gone shooting once before but for the most part I dont know much about guns. We did the full day lane price and got to shoot a variety of guns. The best part of the experience was the guy in the range, David. We didnt know much about the guns and David was very friendly and helped us out with loading them and fixing any jams and giving us general tips on the guns and sights. He definitely made the experience worthwhile and I would highly recommend going to this range.

I took a one-on-one class to correct some problems I was having with a particular gun. Mike was awesome! Made some simple adjustments with stance, grip and trigger control and it was a completely different ballgame!! The slightest changes made all the difference in the world. I highly recommend it!

Built my first AR in an Armorers class with Mark about six months ago. I highly recommend both the classes and the teacher! I have used the ranges and rentals to help my wife decide on a handgun that best suits her. All staff are very professional and most helpful. I trust these folks to give me competitive pricing and a safe experience on every visit.

This is one great group of guys and girls. Ive been to this store 5-6 times and they are always accommodating and educational. They have a huge inventory and are willing to order anything you need. This is more of a comment as I have never been to the range. Just months ago a training session was 50.00 and they often sent coupons in the mail for 50% off of training class. I am 56 and my mother is 75 and we considered taking this class. We own our own guns. Wow, what an increase in price. Doubled. Guess we will just wing it on our own.

Everyone is always beyond helpful and more than willing to accommodate. My 70 year old grandma wanted to go for her birthday and they took great care of us and her especially. I cannot thank them enough for making it to so smoothly. Thank you guys so much, made a special 70th birthday for my grandma.

Theyre very friendly and very helpful even though we said were just looking around. Good selection thats only going to get better when the retail section grows by 4X. And Bills review shouldnt count, you cant just give one star and not say why, thats what scumbags do.

Awesome place! it was my first time everyone was really nice it was $30 for all day for me and my girlfriend I used to go to a different range that was outside and free but took about an hour to get there and safeside is only like 5 minutes away from my house so its so worth $30 for 2 people all day and its a much much nicer range I will definitely be back very soon

The staff were extremely knowledgable and helpful. It was not a pushy sales environment either. I was able to browse and feel comfortable with my selection. Certainly superior service and knowledge compared to the big chains selling guns. Additionally I was able to get my gun at a lower cost compared to the big box stores.

Its like gun store meets an Apple Store. I cant decide if I love the environment or if I prefer a more Hometown gun store feel. The gun range is fantastic though if only the range cadres would mind their own business and stop talking. Some of them are constantly walking over to put in their 2 cents on everyones situation even if its just to talk about the guns that they are shooting.

Ive had them build 2 rifles for me and they shoot great and function just like theyre supposed to. Excellent selection of guns and accessories. They are very friendly to boot.

Done a fair bit of business here over the last year. Couple of weeks ago I dropped off a rare rifle for some custom work, on the condition that the rifle itself not be modified and aftermarket parts instead should be changed and installed to improve functionality so it can be easily swapped back to its original configuration.The quality of the work was beyond my expectations. The smith who did the work was quick to call me when something didnt turn out as expected (as they always do with custom work on strange or rare rifles) and kinks were always ironed out quickly and easily.Tool marks were almost nonexistent, the finish was even and well matched, and the fit of the hand-worked parts was perfectly snug. If youve got rifle thats dear to you but has been spending too much time in the safe, id highly recommend Safeside Tactical to get her field ready and out shooting where she belongs!

I am a member of SafeSide. I have taken classes, shopped in their store and used their Range. I meet there with our local womans gun club A Girl & A Gun on the 2nd Monday of each month. I also shoot in the indoor Glock Matches at SafeSide Tactical. The staff is professional and helpful, the facility has everything you could ask for and more. This is a first class facility.

I went in to pick up my Glock 42 that had been Cera coated and it turned out better than I imagined - Zane is awesome. But what really made this experience so great was the knowledgeable Jerry. I’m new to this and am learning and he took his time with me and didn’t make me feel bad for not knowing things and genuinely seemed to care that I learn more than making a sale. But, he did get a sale from me and my boyfriend that was with me. Matt the manager was awesome and helped making a 3 gun purchase easy and enjoyable. Gunsmith took 3 months to do a 15 min job,he had a month on vacation in the middle of the 3 months, so he was not busy. staff dont know difference between an AR15 based gun and an AR10 based gun. Had one idiot tellme I needed a .308 sized reciever to build a 762x39. And did not know what mags I would have to use. Also Staff member shot herself due to NEGLIGENCE while handling a loaded gun.. ZERO CONFIDENCE IN THE STAFF.

I bought a gun from an employee that was unfortunately stolen. When I called to get info they were unhelpful. Did not care to even try and assist. The email address given was invalid and no one would give a cell phone # so I could send a picture.

First time I went to the range there... It was claen the range monitor was frendly... I seen him help a couple a few lanes down. They are new to the sport and they had a jam. He helped them fix it and gave them some pointers for beginners. No judgment, no condesending comments or looks. Just good people who genuinely want to help. Im getting a membership!
