Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Cube Smart was GREAT, but unfortunately sold to this company. When I received an email of the transition I remember sighing and thinking, Uh, here we go! I had a feeling it wasnt going to be good. Not even two months into the switch, and I guessed right, the typical larger company purchases smaller company bad business ethics... nothing but PURE GREED. For those that have been financially affected by the pandemic, make your life a little easier and do business with a company that isnt just about the money. I dont know how they fare elsewhere, but in this time of crisis, Life Storage is a disservice to Saginaw. Oh, and the customer service at that location isnt great either.FYI: Some of the great reviews below for the Saginaw location, are for Cube Smart. Cube Smart recently sold to Life Storage. The 5-star reviews should be credited to Cube Smart for Saginaw.

Staff (Sam and Kania(?) were cheerful, friendly, professional and a pleasure to meet and Sam made the intake process effortless. They get a 5+ star review. The facility is clean and has easy access off business hours, and is posting good Covid safety practices. My 4 stars are only for the lighting within the storage unit itself. The halls are well-lit and conserve energy by being motion activated. However, unlike my facility in Illinois, this one does not have lights over the units. It makes packing and unpacking a bit cave-like. Im seeing it as a chance to get some magnetic lights to leave on the walls and dig out my camping lantern. Otherwise excellent experience and I would recommend the location and facility.

Kiana, the front desk personnel, deserves an immediate raise.I purchased my storage unit online last night, got here this morning with no idea how to find it, Kiana immediate dropped what she was doing, without be asked, invited me to follow her and showed me not only how to find my unit, but, how to get in and out with great ease.After discovering that my locker was a bit smaller then Id need, Khanna immediately helped me by getting me a larger unit in a prime location.Over all, the building is clean, quiet and well secured.Im extremely happy with a purchase, thanks to Kiana, that I was quite nervous about making initially.Im sure Ill be with LifeStorage for quite a while.Thank you, Kiana😁

The gal at in the office was extremely nice and very helpful. I was able to purchase an auctioned unit for the first time. She made it very easy. While they might be pricier than other storage facilities, the climate control made it so I didnt find any moldy things or nasty smelling things in this person storage unit. I would say this is a really good storage unit facility. Worth the money.

Girl at the desk was extremely pleasant and helpful! Had all the answers to my questions and even some I didn’t know I had! The facility is top notch! Clean, secure with easy access for trucks, double wide doors and even carts to use instead of having to carry boxes! Love, love, love it!

We were moving from a larger, 10x20 storage unit down to a 10 x 10 unit at the Bay Road location down by the mall. We were told that the rate would be $80/month. After we moved, we were informed that the rate was $120/month. When we asked why such an increase, we were told that rates change daily and we dont control that. Trying to talk to anyone in management is a waste of time. They dont care and you will be a burden on their day.Just be forewarned if you rent space there, they will make every attempt to rip you off, so take your time and get things clearly spelled out.Customer service eludes them.

Have not seen facilities like this since I had things in storage with a competitor in Arizona 15 years ago. I did not appreciate The Hook of 1st month rent free not being explained clearly enough. But, any one who is anyone in business trying to earn business has a hook. But at 65 years young, one grows tired of them. My initial fee was $49.00 after that a little bit over $100.00 I also do not like as an American to be forced to buy or maintain Renters Insurance. One should have a CHOICE of whether they want their items protected or not. The fact that its INDOORS is a deterrent enough to give someone pause before they commit a crime. The rate is still great for a ten by 15. But if I find something with better rates and I can save money from omitting the extra cost, well Im sorry, thats where Im going. Its about spending less money. Cubed art is very clean, professional, and very friendly. It was like talking to family.

Our visit to CubesSmart was Great! Karen our Manager was very informative and gave us the grand tour of the facilities. She tookus to our Cube and then we proceeded to our truck to unload. Shewas a pleasure to work with. The Cantrell!s! The facilities are sonice and clean. Great Job!

Good storage place with the storage units inside of the building. Very clean and nice managers Karen and Desiraye, who are always helpful and pleasant. Prices are fair, but they do charge you $10 for every late fee.

Very pricy for the average person,you have to pay for their special lock which is no good to use anywhere else and you have to get insured with them whether you want to or not, just more money for them.i should have gone to U-haul storage heard they are reasonable.

Had a fantastic experience here. I made a same-day reservation and showed up quite literally as the door was being locked (driving a moving van in from out of state). They reopened, logged back onto their system, and processed me in so I could get access to my cube and unload that evening. Never once did I feel like I was being rushed through the process or get the impression that I was being a huge inconvenience (which I was).After checking in I received a tour of the facility which is incredibly clean. Access is simple and the overall security seems top notch.I would recommend this location to anyone. Thank you CubeSmart Saginaw!
