I would give less than one star if it were possible. Dont let the fake friendly personas trick you, despite the other reviews on here. Let me elaborate:I had never been to a GNC before. After a workout with my friends, we went to this location since it was most convenient (closest to LA Fit on golden valley). When we got there, we were looking for a certain Dymatize protein powder that my friend wanted to get, and I was going to browse other protein powders to get something for myself. Immediately upon entering, the worker (whom I did not get the name of, but will be referenced later) greeted us and asked what we were looking for. As of now, everything was fine and it was a pleasant experience. Right after we told him what protein powder my friend was looking for, he started trying to talk us into buying another protein powder with 40 servings priced at $70. We were told that this was one of the best tasting protein powders and that its the healthiest, best option. Were all college students so we cant just throw money around. I went in expecting to spend roughly $40, so after telling him this, he said that if all three of us bought one, he would knock the price down by $30 EACH. I asked for clarity since this was obviously an insane deal, and he confirmed it was dropping from $70 to $40 EACH.Upon checking out my friends both went ahead and bought it, and I went to buy it right after. This part is where my stupidity and conformity came into play, so I accept responsibility on that part. The clerk did not offer any receipt, and he had the paypad on his end where it was not visible to us. So when we paid, we could not see a price, and were not told a price. I completely acknowledge that it was my stupidity in just following my friends that I didnt ask for a receipt or anything, but hindsight is 20/20. Anyways, once we got into the car and were on our way, I got a notification from my bank saying that the purchase was made for the full $70. The same happened to my friends. So one of them went the next day and, after a lot of convincing with an older gentleman working there, got his money back. I tried going a different day, and this was my first encounter with Ahmed.This guy, relatively young, gives off a friendly vibe which is definitely appealing to a customer until you get past the fake persona. He told me that despite being a manager, he couldnt help me since he didnt process the sale and I wasnt given a receipt. He took my name and number down and told me that the other worker would call me that night. Well, no call. I tried to call a couple days later and got no answer after three tries. I called the Magic Mtn Pkwy GNC and asked if they can transfer me, which they couldnt. So I wait about 20 minutes and call this location with my number blocked. Ahmed answered, and I was a bit frustrated because it definitely appeared they were dodging my calls since they had my number. He apologized saying they werent, and that he was shocked the guy never called, promising me the guy would give me a call in 10 minutes because hes finishing up with a customer at another location. Well, all night passes, no call. I called again two days later, same deal happens. I filed a case with GNC Corporate, who sent the case # to this location and explicitly told them to refund me, giving me the case # to reference.I went in yesterday and tried this. Ahmed said they received no case number and that he didnt care if so because it doesnt matter. He refused any service and was absolutely disrespectful and rude. The first worker got to the store too, and he began cussing me out saying, Do you live in a f-ing village? Ahmed kept saying, I dont want to have to f*ck with you but refused any help. Both of them cussed me out, refused help, and wasted much of my time. They denied any sort of scams done by them and suspiciously asked where I live many times. I later found out the two are cousins. Never go to this location. Disrespectful con artists, and Im not alone either. Magic Mtn Pkwy GNC is far better with very nice staff.

First and foremost, Ahmed has amazing customer service and great knowledge on a lot of products here that I didn’t know about. It sucks that they don’t have performix, but he recommended some products to invest in instead. But overall, a great experience here at this location.

Shout out to the people who work here, always so kind and friendly to their guests. Ahmed helped me pick out a protein powder that had been recommended to me by another employee (wish I remembered his name cause he was awesome) but nevertheless, great employees and service.

I was there at 10 am when they are supposed to open and the store was closed. Waited 30 minutes and still nobody showed. I would give no stars if I could because that is unacceptable. I know it is a franchise, but GNC should look into this. I was told by another store that this store is known for their lateness. Maybe fire those who dont want to work on time and get better staff.

I went in looking for testosterone pills & protein powder & came across Ahmed, hands down this dude knows his stuff!!! Was very impressed, almost like the guy was planted there from one of the company to ensure their products were sold.. lol jk. Point being he’s super knowledgeable & very friendly. I highly recommend this gnc will definitely be returning. Thanks Ahmed!!!!
