This shop provides the best customer experience I have ever had at an auto mechanic. Their customer service is absolutely the best every time. The facility is clean and inviting and the repairs are the highest quality. Today I came in planning on waiting all day for a major repair and they just gave me a car to borrow for the day. No extra expense, they just let me borrow a car. Their communication is excellent, and I never feel pressure to do a repair they suggest or feel like theyre trying to trick me into a service I dont need. This shop gets my recommendation every time.

Was greeted the moment I walked in and both ladies were very professional, Alexa was a sweetheart with every interaction and even offered snacks and coffee, the waiting area was very clean unlike other automotive repair shops where you can tell the mechanics dont care of the appearance and cleanliness I can tell that this is part of the expectations of the manager. Although was only there for an inspection, she also informed me of a needed wheel alignment which I will schedule when I have the time to do so, I will definitely schedule one with her. I like the fact that any service was displayed up on a screen mounted on the wall, thumbs up!

When I called the location the individual that answered the phone was very professional and answered all of my questions. When I arrived… I was greeted and taken care of right away. Spent two days working on my car only to realize what I had fixed wasnt all the issues and I was out of ideas... brought it to them Thursday before closing with little hope Id get it back before the 4th of July weekend and low and behold they pulled through.Staff was beyond helpful and attentive, explaining everything in detail, offered ride to and from the shop. I got my car back the next day and 1 day before we move. They were the best!! Ill definitely be back.

I found Schertz Auto Service online through Google and tried them out based on their outstanding Google reviews. They were everything wonderful that has been mentioned about them and more! Very professional and kind from booking my appointment to my wait in the lobby. They periodically checked on me and offered beverages. When my vehicle health inspection was complete, they actually sat with me and explained what the vehicle needed and what could wait WITH objective information and photos/videos taken by the mechanic. There was no pushiness and for the first time, I left a auto shop not wondering if I got duped. I highly recommend them and will continue to bring my business back.

Great service! I came in a couple days ago to have them check out my tire alignment but since they were closing in a couple minutes they couldn’t fix it right there. When asking if it was still safe to drive my car they checked my tires quick and one was dangerous to drive on so they changed it with my spare for free even though they were closed at the time they figured that out! Would recommend

We had a minor emergency while on vacation heading to downtown San Antonio. We had a loose wheel and lost a lug nut on I-35. Shertz was kind enough to prioritize getting us back on the road within about an hour. Their mechanic checked everything to make sure it was safe to drive back to Nebraska. It was a situation where they could of really stuck it to an out of towner in a jam but they only charged $50! Great people and a very nice clean shop. Highly recommend them.

We are so grateful this was the nearest service shop when we began having car trouble while visiting from another state. Outstanding service, Beth took care of my truck issues and notified me on status. Great customer service, and they get the job done at a reasonable price. I took my truck to the dealer for windshield washer issues, they wanted to replace parts for 200$, with Schertz Auto Service, they unclogged windshield washer and charge me 80% less than at the dealership. Ive used their location on 3009 as well, theyre both very helpful and kind staffs. The prices are not bargain basement, but reasonable for the work. The inspections are thorough with pictures and explanations, whether in person or over email. The work is done promptly and thoroughly, not rushed or delayed. If your car maintenance is a priority, Schertz Auto Service is a good provider.

Transparency, Transparency, Transparency! The toughest thing for me when taking my car to the shop is wondering if what they are telling me is truly a problem. Well, with Schertz Auto they give you a detailed repair list with descriptions and pictures that you can look over on a web based application at your leisure. Although it is always painful to spend money on vehicle repairs, I felt comfortable that the repairs truly needed to be done. I have found a shop I will continue to do business with in the future.

I went here for the first time, to have a Tx state inspection so that I can renew my car registration. I was going to drop off my car and come back for it because my wife and I had errands to run but they said that it only takes 10 minutes if I wanted to wait. I decided to wait and sure enough it was done within 10 minutes. On top of that they provided me a free diagnostic and pulled my car up on their screen. For a $7 state inspection, they certainly went above and beyond. Also they were really nice, so I will be going there again in the future for my car needs, plus it is also down the street from my home. Highly recommend!

The rear window on my old Yukon got stuck and wouldnt roll back up. I was worried it would be some kind of electrical issue and come out really expensive. I knew it was going to rain the next day so I thought Id take my chance and see if they could fix it without taking the door off. Vickie came out to see what the issue was and asked if she could take it back to the mechanic so he could take a look at it. After about 10 minutes she came back and said they got it to roll up. Great news! I took my debit card out and asked how much it would be. She said it was nothing and shes glad they could help. Fast forward about 5 months later and my son rolls down the same window they got to roll up. I took it back to see if maybe I can pay for it this time... she refused again. Took less than 5 minutes the 2nd time and she actually told me how the mechanic was able to roll it back up. Once I get some extra money to get it completely fixed, Im definitely going back to see Vickie and the team. They were great and so helpful!

I usually prefer to do my own auto repairs, but had too much on my plate to work on my vehicle, decided to take it here. Absolutely the nicest people on the planet. Very friendly and honest. Liked getting a text with a detailed description about everything they looked at and found on my vehicle. If I have to take my vehicle somewhere again, this is the place.

Price is high, the work is done right from what I saw. The wait a few days for your vehicle to be done needs to be understood.. tells you alot about their service and work by how busy they are. The customer service is down to a science. And if you dont need your car to be done by them, they completely understand. All business, all professional, the whole time of my experience. Now the extra $700 tacked on to the $250 job is definitely not what I was trying to do. Little too high for me

I can not say enough wonderful things about these folks! I went there for an oil leak issue. I also got the total car health report which was very helpful since I know nothing about auto diagnosis/repair. The front office ladies are so sweet. Beth is a rock star! During the diagnostic process and the repair process, they were great at communicating with me. The mechanic even found the source of a knocking noise that 4 car dealerships were not able to find over the 13 year life of my car. Prices of services seem reasonable. I will be a repeat customer!

Horrible. This place doesnt like to give estimates over the phone. Not even a round about figure. I called in for a quote for breaks, not a complex job. Most people dont have the time to go in to have the full inspection just to get an estimate. I understand every vehicle is different but I am sure you can provide a front breaks estimate, a rear break estimate, and let us decide if your estimate is good for us, the client. THEN we can make an appointment.

I have been taking all of our cars to the 3009 location for probably the past 3-4 years, and am so excited they built one even closer to home. You see the same friendly faces (hi Beth and Angie, you are both so great!) and receive the same quality service that they have been providing at the 3009 location. We will continue to take all our vehicles to them. They are trustworthy and reliable, and always keep me updated if a vehicle needs to stay longer than expected. I never have to worry about having issues after picking up my vehicle, and even if I ever did, Im confident they would make it right.

My first time using these folks, it was a great experience. I usually go to the dealership, I have owned my Chevy pickup for 6 years and I have always had it serviced or repaired at a dealer. My wife and I move around quite a bit so I opted to try a local place. Schertz auto is just down the street from our home and they could get me in right away. The dealer said it would be a week till they could run a diagnostic on my truck. These guys ran a full report on the truck and helped me figure out what needs to be done to the truck to keep it running for another 100,00 miles. I am very pleased. So pleased indeed that we will be taking my wife car for a service very soon. very professional and friendly staff on the front end as well. No pressure and no run around. Ill be taking my truck back to these guys for sure.

Was going to get fuel injection cleaning and state inspection. The injection cleaning was cancelled as it is not the pressurized type cleaning I was looking for. State inspection done. I’ve had other service done here on several autos and service has always been excellent.

What an amazing experience from start to finish! I brought my car here to have it visually inspected because my transmission was leaking. They sent me via text/email a full list of all the things that were of immediate concern and future concern. I went down the list and decided what I should handle now. There was no pressure at all! Beth at the front desk was very professional and provided outstanding customer service. They also provided a ride to and from the service center! They really made me feel like I was in good hands. These guys are professional and I love the shop. Wait till you see the equipment, the floors, and even the front office. I’ve been around and these guys are doing it right. Check out the instant diagnostic on your alignment, tires, and more details, as they drive your vehicle in. Everything is emailed to you as well-instantly. I love it. They saved me time and money. The 1103 site is just as state of the art as the 3009 site. If you’re obsessive about your vehicles like me, you’ll like these guys.

The new facility on FM1103 is beautiful. The waiting area is neat, clean and comfortable. The absence of a blaring television playing obnoxious shows is a gigantic plus. The service bays are meticulous and state of the art. I brought in my vehicle for 60K mile service, a battery replacement, and a brake and alignment check and an a/c check. Since SAS is full service, they we able to accommodate my requests. I received a detailed estimate by email that identified areas of concern from critical to less immediate. The estimate was precise and I paid exactly what I was quoted. I was kept apprised of my vehicle’s status. Repairs were performed expeditiously and I am very satisfied. Office staff is knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. They arranged transportation to and from the facility. They even scheduled future service for me. In the end I was provided with warranties for repairs and replacement parts. Needled to say I am grateful and satisfied.

They inspected underside of chassis for possible damage, but also did multi-point inspection and made recommendations. Mechanical service was professional and prompt, and customer service was courteous. I plan to use them again.

I have had multiple vehicles in here for a variety of reasons. It has ranged from standard oil changes and maintenance to Engine rebuilds. I typically request Beth as my advisor because she always goes above and beyond to make sure that I am taken care of in a professional and timely manner but Vicky is also fabulous! Stopped by for vehicle State Inspection. Fast and friendly service.

I took my Suburban in with a headlight and tail light short in the electrical system. After 1 hour of diagnostics and $150.00 later, I was told there is a short somewhere and they will need to charge me for another hour to keep searching. So, I paid $150.00 to be told what I already knew about the vehicle when I took it in for repair. I could see that they didn’t know, and they could easily keep stringing me along at $150.00 an hour without finding anything. It must be nice to get paid to just “look” and not fix. I was told it usually doesn’t take long to find the problem and the starting price is $70.00. Somehow my vehicle was an anomaly though and they don’t know.
