Short version: Im coming back. Au Fait was reliable, punctual and went above and beyond. Simple as that.Longer version: Brought in my bonneville for an overdue service, a starter issue (as in, it wouldnt start without a downhill roll to get it started), and changing out the exhaust pipes. Sky was great:-helped me troubleshoot getting my bike there in the first place,-fixed everything in less than 24 hours (i realize not to expect that all the time in the future, but it was a great surprise this time!),-kept me posted of any changes or issues, so no surprises-final bill was exactly as quoted, and-the bike came back cleaner than I had brought it in.Super please and will be coming back. Au Fait is a hell of a shop that is willing to work with you for any common or even unusual problems on your bike. Took my 848Evo in for timing belt change and other little odds and ends. Bike is working great and got it back promptly.The Au Fait shop is very experienced, very knowledgeable, and the bottom-line is that this is the shop that I can trust to take my bike and work on it.

I am all for independent mechanic/repair shops where you can talk to the actual person who is going to work on your bike, and this place allows you to do that to a T. Sky runs this place all by herself and pays full attention to what you are saying. I had a nice experience with my Triumph, she has all the tools and rates are great too. If you are like me who finds going to a dealer a pain, this place is for you.

I like to do the basic maintenance on my KLR but there some things I dont feel comfortable tackling. I heard about Au Fait just through word of mouth from the guys at Touratech. Sky is super detail oriented and you can tell shes passionate about the work she does. If you want to ride away with confidence from a shop knowing your bike was in good hands, this is the place for you.

Sky did great work on my ’81 CX500 café racer. She knows her mechanics and takes time to ensure quality repair/maintenance just as if she owned it. She is in high demand for older bikes so get in the que before the season starts.
