I love the Seattle Cycle Gear! The staff is so helpful. Both Alysha and David spent a considerable amount of time educating me, a new rider, on helmets, gear and parts. Every time I walk into the store I get greeted right as I walk into the store, even if they are busy with another customer. The atmosphere of the store is not like a store where they just want to move on to the next customer, but one where they genuinely care about their customers needs. I would, and will, highly recommend to anyone that this store IS the place to get all of their gear. Thank you everyone at the Seattle Cycle Gear store for making my experience the best I have ever had.
The woman who helped us at the Seattle location was absolutely wonderful. She was great with my 8 year old daughter while fitting her for the correct helmet. We walked out very happy. She provided a pleasant experience all around.
This was my first, and likely only visit to this location, as I am leaving Seattle. The location itself is very cool - it’s perfect for motorcycles as it has very tight parking for a car, so it’s dedicated to bikes. It’s right up the street from the space needle as well, and makes a drive home very convenient.I had ordered a tool that was only stocked at that location, the person I spoke to on the phone ran over when he realized it was me, quickly got what I had ordered, and I was off - fast, easy, and friendly experience.
Staff are nice, helpful, and even offered to help me out in installing some parts I dont have tools for. This location is smaller than Bellevue but has a ton of stuff.Staff is quick to remind you of benefits like return policy (generous) and satisfaction guarantee on consumables.
I visited in May 2021 as a first timer checking out motorcycle gear. Recently getting a learners permit, I was learning everything about material, brands, fitting, and what makes gear safe.Avery was working when I entered and provided the most professional and personal service Ive experienced in years. His personal experience and insight on what makes gear best fit was something you cant get from shopping online. If youre a first timer like me, or just looking to get new gear, this place will surely help you above and beyond. Thanks Avery and the Cycle Gear team.
Brett was extremely professional and informative without being pushy at all. Great job! First time in, but permanent new customer.
Staff was super helpful at both stores i went to. but it was a bummer that there was so little selection in the size i needed. and there was also a big gap between models between the cheap $200 helmets and things over $500. i was hoping to spend under $400, and prepared to spend that much, so it was a bummer to settle for a cheaper helmet than i wanted. i was glad to get something for a helmet last night, but i had to drive to another store to get a color i wasnt psyched about. i never found a jacket at all.im sure thats just the typical supply chain/pandemic/everyone buying stuff thing were all living these days.
Things looked pretty hopeless trying to find a large enough jacket for 6’4” me. The first clerk was a retail drone. Didn’t know the inventory nor have any ideas on what my options were.I went across the store on my own and another employee, a very energetic and helpful young lady, was able to fit me in an Alpinstar almost immediately.More big and tall selection Cycle Gear !!
Bought a helmet. The staff answered tons of my questions with patience and professional advices. Will come back again for other gears in the future.
If i could give 6 stars out of 5 I would - excellent experience and knowledgeable staff - I will be going back to round out some gear needs very soon.Highly recommend.
Id give 5 stars but it wasnt quite earth-shattering. My first time in the store and I found everything I wanted, great sales help with my questions, and good prices. I will be shopping here again.
The employs at my local cycle gear were friendly and tried to be helpful. I found the policy of getting a small discount disturbing. Two weeks before I was involved in a hit and run crash, I had purchased about $200 worth of gear including boots and some armor. After the crash I needed to replace my gear, including my recent armor and boot purchase. I asked about a 10% discount as I needed new gear including: a Helmet, Coat, Pants, Boots and gloves I estimated $1000. I was told they have discounts but I didnt qualify for any of them. So I now have a new coat, helmet, pants and gloves, not from cycle gear.
Great staff. Super helpful and they have a nice selection in store. Vroom vroom!
Nice people, good selection of riding gear and parts. The sales people are knowledgeable (prevented me from buying the wrong visor for my helmet and found me the correct one). Its nice to have a store focused on hiring a knowledgeable and customer oriented staff.
Came in with my husband to help him pick things out and was blown away! SO polite, they heard me say my phone was low and offered me a charger, they helped my husband try on different helmets. Most impressive is they were super truthful about what would work best, even when the best option was less expensive. No upselling, just honest and helpful people. We will be back!
I reserved an item (Sena 50R comm system) online, and went to the store the next day to complete the purchase. The sales rep quickly found the item, and he installed it in my helmet in short order. Everything works as expected, and I am very happy with the process.
Great selection of gear and parts, and a genuinely knowledgeable and helpful staff. Got a helmet that fits extremely well after trying out a couple other models, and was impressed with the general state of the shop. Worth a stop if you need anything to ride in comfort and style.
A great place to shop for your motorcycle supplies in Seattle. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly as they are motorcycle owners and enthusiasts themselves. Its a bit out of the way but worth the trip.
The customer service at this store is the best. Thanks for always helping us find exactly what we need, and the perfect fit.
Amazing place for your gear, very helpful staff especially for new beginners
They were very knowledgeable about the mechanics of bikes and helped me pick out a good helmet!
Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great customer service. Walked out with a leather jacket.
Amazing Experience! I told them I was a 1st time rider and they took care of me . Helmet, shoes, gloves and jacket ! Very easy process ! I will be using them for all of my biking needs going forward!
The team at Cycle Gear have been beyond helpful and friendly during my past two visits. Great team that is very knowledgeable and they definitely have a love of riding!!
Staff was friendly courteous. far from the biggest store but definitely have enough to get everything you need for a ride. Parking is a beast as with most Seattle area businesses but have good area out for motorcycle parking right put front but you driving car you might to drive around a bit to find a spot.
Sam and Lucas were great. Super helpful and knowledgeable.
Super helpful customer service, with insightful and knowledgeable staff. Would love more womens gear options/sizes, though.
Helpful staff, surprisingly good selection of gear for a downtown-ish location. Would recommend & shop there again. 😊👍🍀
Avery, Lucas and Sam are always there when I need them for tire changing service. Great guys. Great service.
Went to this location on 07/12/2021 for the first time. The two folks working the counter were extremely helpful and attentive. Looking for old Ducati parts can be a real hassle and these guys made it easy and fun! Good conversation about all the bikes we’ve had over the years, just a lot of fun! Oh, great prices on solid gear! Got a new Helmut, Summer Jacket and sweet Alpinestar hightops- Thank you, David! Well, I should say, thank you both!
Of all the motorcycle shops I have been to I find that Lynnwood Cycle Gear exhibited a five star customer service. Looking for the right size helmet has been a challenge for me over the years. Traci and the rest of the Lynnwood Cycle Gear team was extremely informative ensuring that I found the best helmet and gear needed for my cross county ride coming up. Thank You Team !!!!
I cant believe this place is still in business. I spent nearly 400.00 on a Shoei helmet there last fall. After wearing it about 6 times the lining began to rip out. When I returned it to the store, I was told by the manager that it wasnt their problem and Id need to contact Shoei. Id intentionally spent my money at Cycle Gear, choosing to support a brick and mortar store that I could return a product to if I had a problem. Guess I should have simply bought online for a cheaper price. I see the owner replies to all the 5 star Google reviews. I would appreciate a reply.
They had Two Weeks to get my tires before i get to go to track, then what happend!?, they lost the rear one🤦,Now i have to Buy other tires that i dont like just to go to track, cause they dont know where is the rear one,Good job Cycle Gear 👎
I go to the store when I can, rather than buying online, because I always like friendly staff, and if they have what you need, I prefer buying from brick and mortars.
Super helpful staff who was very knowledgeable about helmets.
The two gentlemen helped me return an item that had a defect and get a new, better quality pair of pants. I also got some cool riding location ideas from them.
Great place! Very helpful staff. Alysha is the best!
Very friendly staff - learned a lot about the local twice track here. Would highly recommend!
They’re very helpful and helped make picking out gear and equipment a breeze for a newbie like me
1st time in this Cyclegear location almost downtown Seattle. Great friendly service. Brought in the pair of Sena 50s purchased at cyclegear in lynwood and the sale person did the install on the spot on both helmets, no charge. Store itself is super nice, lots and lost of gear!
My experience with Cycle Gear Of Seattle was 5 stars. I am 1st time street rider spent about 15 years riding dirt bikes. I bought myself a Dual sport and needed New street tires, Chain, Sprockets, Bluetooth helmet and other accessories. I found this store Thanks to Lake City Power Sports on Lake City Way. I went to Lake City power sports and was treated like I was a second hand citizen, Maybe it is because of the way I was dressed old levies beat up T-Shirt or maybe because I am Latino or maybe because it appeared that I didnt have money or a combination of all. When asking Lake City simple questions such as price and availability or which tires would best fit my needs, I made it a point to request tires best money could buy or what kind of performance I should expect if I drop one tooth down on my front sprocket. I was spoke down to with very short uncomfortable answers from the Parts Specialist behind the desk. It was a very disappointing experience. So this is how I ended up at Cycle Gear on 825 Taylor Ave N. EVERYONE at this store was welcoming and helpful. I dealt with Alysha who is very Professional and knowledgeable and when ask a question she didnt know the answer too she simple stated so with a follow up of I will find out for you let me research that By the way Lake City Power Sports I spent about $1,000.00 and probably going to drop another $1000.00 on apparel. Thank You Cycle Gear and Thank You Alysha for time and effort making sure I was getting the best gear for my personal application. Customer For life!
Friendly staff who know their stuff. Lower end brands but still decent safety gear.Masks and sanitizer at the door. Everyone was wearing masks.
Great selection of motorcycle gear.
Great selection of motorcycle gear, very friendly staff
Had the part I needed when dealer gave me wrong one. Saved my track day.
Simply put in thoroughly impressed with the knowledge the employees have to offer at this store. Not only do they beat out every other cycle gear Ive been to buy they just know more about their product than any other associate I have come across at any business front.Definitely stopping by again. Super helpful service.
They work on commission so some hover most are very helpful. Good store especially when they have sales
So helpful. Loved the staff
Super friendly and accommodating staff. Looking for a jacket, tried on many before finding the right on. Prices were good and the location was great. It was very easy to find. I didnt have time to explore the whole store but it looked well stocked.
Great customer service and advice. Very knowledgeable staff that set me up with safety in mind first. Will be back for pants and boots next week!!!
The people who work here are amazing. It’s very clear that they are passionate, and care about their customers. It’s also very clear that they work for a large corporation that’s disconnected from the store front. The employees here will suffer until management changes.
Staff are always extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
Great gear and equipment. Friendly employees. Pretty overpriced. But overall a good place to shop for motorcycle stuff
These guys are great. They have been very patient & helpful (Im 69 & buying a bike after 40 years). Also, they did not try to upsell me; I told them what I was looking for & what I wanted to spend, and they answered a lot of questions that helped me out & has given me information I will ponder for later. I will definately be going back.
Had a great time got some new boots that i love and some awesome information for the very helpful staff
Wooow, amazing place! As a newbie in motorcycle world, I felt very welcomed here. Staffs are knowledgeable on all gears and can really gave good suggestions on whether you need it or which one you need. Very patient for all questions as well! Recommend for all who want to get into motorcycle world!
Very friendly and helpful staff! Good selection and a great return policy !
Great customer service! Wes the person who helped us out was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable about what we needed and what gear best fit that need. The Queen Anne Cycle Gear location is where I did my business and Wes represents what great customer service is about.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good helmet selection. Order online and have it delivered to the store and they will handle any returns you need to make! Easy!
Very friendly staff, knowledgeable and helpful. Store is smaller than the one in Lynnwood but still holds a decent collection of stuff.
Fantastic knowledgeable employees. One person was new and wasnt sure where all the products were located yet, but he was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The store is well organized and stocked with a large selection. I always find just the gear I need at Cyclegear stores. Parking is a bit of a challenge at this location however.
This is the newest motorcycle gear in the area, I like it because it happens to be between my work and home. Great prices, knowledgeable staff, and large selection of riding gear and accessories. Parking may be challenging at times, but well worth the effort. Dont pass the up!
Came in to try a couple of helmets. Great staff that was helpful and friendly.
Shopping for my first helmet. I was a little intimidated by the wall of options, and the fact that Im still a new rider. Wes didnt judge at all, and was super friendly and helpful! He taught me about fit and a little about what to look for in helmets and other gear. He answered my questions, and service didnt suffer when the store got busy. I walked out with a great starter helmet, and a shopping list for the future!
They were great, we had ordered the wrong gear at the St Louis location and moved up to Seattle with it and the guys there did a quick exchange and were helpful all the way!! Cant ask for better customer service than that!
Good service and good selection of helmets. The hot girl knows her stuff. thats always extra points by me.thanks ladies!
Great selection, friendly staff. Tons of helmets to try on, would recommend checking it out.
They sell everything here, even go-kart flags
Great plase! everything price good!
Nice peeps. Like to ride alot!
Staff was very knowledgeable. Store was clean and the selection was excellent.
Great place for the novice or avid rider. Great service, very knowledgeable, helpful and fast.
Has great stuff, but is very over priced.
The people running this shop are great. Helped me out more than once now and went out of their way to make sure I got the right gear.
Friendly, helpful staff, great selection, competitive prices.
One of the smaller cycle gear stores but friendly and helpful staff.
A good change of pace from the Cycle Gears I’m used too, no young pretty girls who don’t know much about bikes but rather some guys and gals who are helpful and care about bikes.
Avery was really nice to talk to and helped me look around / find what I wanted.
Cool staff hella expensive tho
This place is fantastic and good quality stuff. Definitely check them out.
Huge selection. Clean store. Staff was very helpful and had lots of info to share with new riders.
Great customer service was helped in moments within walking in. Paid and was out in 15 minutes.
Avery was very helpful, friendly, and informative.
Traci helped me out a lot with the proper gear and helmet..
Store is well organized and generally just a nicer space (although maybe a bit smaller) than the sub-urban Cycle Gear locations around Puget Sound. For those not familiar with Cycle Gear, it is mc clothing and accessories oriented and focused a bit more on the budget/utilitarian/every-day rider. The staff is very knowledgeable about what they sell in terms of whether or not they have it, where it is, colors in stock versus orderable, features, fit etc.. Hours are good... it was great to be able to go in on a Sunday morning, when most (all?) mc shops are closed, to be able to get basic supplies to complete some weekend maintenance. If there is a downside compared to the other Cycle Gear locations its a lack of dedicated parking but hey Im just glad to have a location in the city.
Great selection of gear, and Wes is a rockstar. Great service!
Wes and Tracy are awesome. Highly recommend this place 👍👍
Good people, very helpful and lots of good stuff!
