The employees don’t greet you or anything. The products are high priced!!! your better off going to the Asians. The selection they have is very limited. If I could I would have giving them a zero.

On the 8th of july ( two days ago) i bought this belly button ring, i put the belly button ring in then on the 9th of july it broke when i was changing, the first image was after then it broke again in the second picture ( it broke twice) so today july 10th i went back to the beauty supply store and the girl said it was my fault since it was after the purchase and that they couldn’t do anything, i don’t mind keeping it i just would like something for my loss since i can’t return it in it’s original condition, if i knew this was going to happen i would have kept my money and spent it elsewhere, also one girl was sleeping. do not buy from here !

The breadth of products is pretty good on the surface, but hard to get consistent products sometimes. Cashiers need some serious customer service training-- range from indifferent to rude. If I find an option equa-distant to my home, I likely will switch. Todays experience makes me want to look for one.

The staff working at Beauty lane are extremely rude and unprofessional. I went there this afternoon to purchase some extensions to do my hair. The staff does not greet you when you walk in and completely ignores you most of the time. After about 5 min, I finally said “hello, is someone available to assist me”. One of the girls working the front walked up with a lot of attitude. There was no greeting nor “may I help you.”I proceeded to ask her about different hair/extension options. She replied under her breath “oh God” and basically stated that the extensions were the same and the only difference was the brand. At one point, one of the other workers rudely interrupted us and called her over to show her something unrelated. She proceeded to walk off. I had to loudly say well I guess I’ll head out since clearly you all are too busy. She returned but had a lot of attitude. I also heard on of the workers talking trash about me and other customers in French. They didn’t realize I’m fluent in French and understood everything they said.This place needs to be either shut down, or they should fire all the workers and start fresh.

I had to search for someone to assist me with my purchase when I entered the establishment. The sales clerk/cashier was rude upon checking out. I will not be returning to this place of business.

Its 9:39am on Saturday. They are just opening the doors. People are standing in 26° weather waiting for them to show up. Ride up the street to Target and get what you need. These people and their customer service skills are garbage

There are only two Beauty Supply stores in Silver Spring that I can rely on to have whatever my Beauty Supply need is at anytime, and this store is one of them. They have everything. Ive never gotten my hair done there. I only go there to buy supplies.

If youre looking for a place nearby with a variety of beauty products, this is your place. The shop attendants are friendly and helpful.The prices are not very high, however Ive seen cheaper in other places - if you think it is worth the drive.On the down side, there is no rest room accessible to the public. The rest room is just for staff. However, if you dont intend to spend much time in there, its not an issue.

Nice location. They have a lot of products which are over priced. Sometimes its like that, your paying more for convenience than the actual product. God forbid you need assistance locating an item. The employees are standing around talking & you cant tell them from just regular customers. To make matters worse, they are usually standing rt next to you . If your in a tight spot then I would go here. If you can hold off, I suggest you go somewhere else. Be for warned, most items here are non-refundable. So know the exact product your looking for & then purchase. Many have been stuck with their mistakes.

UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! This beauty Supply does not open on time!!! 20 people came and gone from 9:30-9:45am as I waited In the parking lot. This is ridiculous!! You stated you open at 9:30 but didn’t open doors until 9:55am. The Owner strolled in at 9:45am with no care in the world. I gave myself ample time before going to work at 10:30 and now I’m late. To top it off, their credit card machine wasn’t working and I waited an extra 15 min to only have to leave my items. Truly annoyed.

This is literally the WORST beauty supply store. Their customer service is trash. They do not greet you when you walk through the door but will stare in your face, they don’t ask if you need help, they are so rude. One of the sales associates was eating McDonald’s while I was asking questions about hair and had the nerve to try to touch the hair with nasty hands after putting down her sandwich. Prices are high, wigs are unkempt. Overall this place is TRASHHHHHH!

So, I always come here for hair products. I decided to get my hair braided a few weeks back. The girl who did my hair was sick but she came to work anyway. I felt bad for her at first, but now Im very upset! She didnt braid my hair like the style I constantly showed her in my picture. So she had to correct what she first did by cutting the braids and adding hair to it. SHE CUT MY HAIR!!! My hair was 2 and 1/2 inches past shoulder length and the one side where she cut, its missing a patch. A BIG ASS MISSING PATCH! Now I have to cut my hair to shoulder length to even it out!!! They dont care about their work that they do there. So much so that a different stylist started talking to my stylist about another customer so bad who complained about how her hair was braided. Apparently the lady complained that all of her braids where different sizes and the stylist said, what do you think I am a robot?, I cant get all of them the exact same size. There used to be a good group of ladies there a long time ago, I dont know what happened. I will say this, you take your chances now if you go get braids. If I could give ZERO stars, I would!!!!****Update**** So I spoke with the person who rents the space for the braiding shop, (she contacted me by text message). She spoke to the lady who did my braids. I was hoping she was not this type of person, but she told her that I could have cut my own hair when I took out my braids, (coincidentally in the same spot where she cut my braids to correct her mistake). I will give her that assumption, because she was not there when I took out my braids to witness this. In all my years of doing my own hair as well as others, even I know that you cut WELL below where you even guess someones hair stops, if you dont know, YOU ASK!!!!I have been more than patient with this situation, I never even lost my cool as others would do in this same type of event. The young lady was sick that day and obviously was not focused. However, this now becomes my mistake for choosing to go there to get my hair done. So I say again, as a word of caution to anyone who goes to the braid shop inside Beauty Lane in the Briggs Chaney Shopping Center, in Burtonsville, MD, your result may vary and you are taking a risk.

Im only rating this 2 stars because they have a lot of products in the store to choose from. But besides that the prices are high and the associates are rude. They dont help with anything and wont even acknowledge you when ringing up items or they have a full blow conversation in front of you and walk away to see what the other associate is showing on there phone. There is no type of customer service what so ever. No hello no goodbye have a nice day nothing.

Prices higher than normal...they dont open on time and they once tried to change the price if an item while I was purchasing. I showed them a photo and told them I had purchased that item several time before for the original price.

The ladies that work there are very kind and they have an extensive variety of products.

The experience in this store is disresectful, humiliating, and degrading because employees treat American black people as thieves. They will follow black customers, and continuously, and ask if you need help. They treat paying customers like thieves, as if all black people have fake credit cards and are ready to steal.

This store has everything I need for my hair and my makeup needs.
