As a first experience with expensive real hair, Indique hair definitely underwhelmed my expectations for my wedding. I’m giving a 2 stars because I got married and having a long hair style did make me feel special on our special day. However, this hair sheds like crazy and was pretty thin already - even my stylist mentioned how thin it looked when she saw it and she referred me there 😣. For reference I got 3 bundles and she mentioned there wasn’t enough to finish my hair at the stop so she took the back down SMH spent $590 for it to still look like I got it for $30 lol. Maybe other types of hair is better from there, but this hair doesn’t seem like the type you can keep for +5 like other virgin hair.Also, it was a last minute decision to purchase this hair so another star since I can only blame myself lol

I had the pleasure of working with Shanice. She was knowledgeable about all of the products, patient, and thorough to make sure I picked out the right hair for my appointment. Since I had called in advance, she had all the products we talked about ready when I arrived and greeted me by name.Great customer service is hard to find, but when I do I gladly will continue to patronize the establishment.

I will give 5 stars to any business that stand behind its product. I try to inform my friends that any place that doesnt allow you to bring back an item that you have never manipulated is a sign that they dont have confidence in the products that theyre selling. I went to this place and purchase $300 worth of hair before I had my consultation with the stylist. During the consultation I learned that the stylist prefers to use her hair so I took the hair that I purchased back to Indique and they took it back and refunded ALL of my money without question. I consider that GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and confidence in the HAIR they sell. I definitely will be retuning on the merit of how my situation was handled. Im sure Ill need hair again and it will definitely come from Indique. Love the customer service and the fact that they stood by their policy regardless of my reason. They didnt ask, why I was returning, I just told them the truth and Im grateful because it saved me money. Thank you Indique!

The look of the hair when it is styled is great! But when I first received the hair it didnt look at all like the pictures. Then after my install the hair shedded A LOT!! LIKE A WHOLE LOT!! The hair also gets tangled a lot & has alots if fly aways. It doesnt stay in place. Spent over $400 for NOTHING. I wont purchase from this company or recommend this hair at all!!

Im an Indique lifer! Ive been buying the hair from their Georgia ave location for almost 5 years now. Love the location and that its so central and off of the beltway. The hair itself is great. I recently started by the clip in extensions and love them. Didnt want to go to the salon to get my hair done with Covid so just been popping in the clip ins and off I go. I get the full look without spending 5 hours on an install! Also a big fan of the virgin hair wigs - they are more ready to wear. Anyway, if you are in PG or Montgomery County and looking for hair then I would only recommend Indique.

I have been using this stunning curly wigs from indique for almost 4 years now. It is super stunning and very comfortable to wear. It gives me a natural look and i cant stop adoring myself every time I style them into various hairstyles. These wigs from indique are heat-friendly.

I love Indique Hair! I’ve tried so many products over so many years and I can honestly say I have found the hair that I will be wearing forever! The quality is amazing. I purchased a bundle of hair the day before yesterday and it was the worst grade of hair I’ve paid money for. The hair is limp and stringy. I’m very displeased with this purchase. The hair has no body to it and seem as if it’s been sitting in the store for a while. Please be sure to inspect your items before releasing them to the public. No one wants to spend over 150 dollars for hair that is low grade.

First time here to try out clip ins. Diamond helped explained how to it all works. Purchased the 10 inch Sea Bali Straight, which feels like my real hair. Great customer service! The quality of the hair is excellent. Will be back. Highly recommend.

Its sad to see all the negative reviews. I purchase my hair and closure on sale totally 600.00 and my stylish charged about 200+ to make it. My only issue is.... I wanted the hair shorter but I would have to spend much more for the hair. Dont get me wrong, the quality I A++ and the stylist did a banging job. I wore it once for the occasion and got tons of complements, I just want it shorter but dont want to cut to damage the ends. I would like to sell it and purchase and get the same hair shorter. It truly pains me to leave this review, as I have used their bundles for an install in the past and the hair was good quality. However, I can not recommend their clip ins to anyone. While the texture is fine, the clip ins are practically unusable. When I received the package, almost NONE of the clips would close properly, leading to sliding and the tracks falling out, no matter how big or small the section of hair. No matter how much I tried to force the clips shut, nothing worked! Therefore I could not even wear them outside without fear of them falling out of my head. $180 wasted.

I first bought Indique hair 10 years ago and it was the best hair on the market at the time. The smell was also great, it barely shaded. Now it’s the exact opposite. Not only does it shade a lot, it’s very dry. The curl pattern is not as great. The worst part is It causes my scalp or my skin to itch based on what it has come in contact with. I will not be buying this hair again. I don’t recommend it to anyone at all.

I have visited this store a total of 3 of 4 times. I purchased finally on my 4th visit some time around February 2016. The hair is pricey because I spent about $485 for 2 bundles + closure. Do not use this review to determine if paying this amount is worth it for you. I enjoyed the hair for what I needed but to be clear, this is not a hair review. I am reviewing my store and purchasing experience. Each time I visited the store, the reps were helpful but respectful of my space to freely browse the boutique. Some may confuse this with being inattentive; but I appreciated being greeted and allowed to look at each product at my own pace. The boutique is very clean and each product is displayed according to the line it belongs to. I really enjoyed being able to hand select the bundle I wanted. I usually visit on the weekend, so parking is not terrible and the store is not crowded. There were no more than 4 customers in the boutique each time I visited. When I finally purchased, the sales woman was very patient and knowledgeable about her product. She was very sweet because I had to bring my very active 3 year old but she didnt seem bothered and even entertained her at points. She allowed me to take my time and because I was the only person in the store, she spent a total of almost 2 hours with me helping me and making sure I was please with my purchase. I would purchase again from this location based on previous experiences.

I’ve been driving from out of state to this boutique for over five years. Tope and her team of specialist ALWAYS take care of me and “extra hair” needs. Worth the traffic and the drive. Need quality extensions...don’t short yourself by buying on the internet. Touch, feel and smell before you buy.

I’ve been going to Indique for about 3 years. They have some of the best quality hair on the market (for virgin Indian hair). Their bounce collection is very nice as well since it looks and feels like natural curly/kinky hair. I’ve also heard from many stylists that Indique has the best closures. For the most part I’ve had very good experiences with the managers and client care reps over the years, especially Topei and Tiara. They are very knowledgeable about the products and how to care for the hair. They always spend 1+ hour helping me to review each bundle in stock and pick out the best bundles for myself (I’m very picky about my hair).I will say that Indique is very strict about allowing you to return hair which you deem defective. I had one issue in my 3 years and with Indique with excessive shedding and they told me it was because I was straightening curly hair, and because I cut the wefts (so they took no responsibility). But I think this guidance to avoid returning or exchanging used hair is coming from the corporate level, not from the reps in the stores. The reps seemed to feel sorry for the issue but their hands were tied. They have given me discounts on future purchases (they can save a discount under your profile) when I’ve had issues, even in one case when it was clearly stylist error (she destroyed the wefts).My suggestion is to pay attention to the hair in the first couple weeks and look for defects. You are much more likely to be granted an exchange if you return within a couple weeks. But in truth, hardly any hair extension suppliers allow you to return used hair, especially over shedding because they all shed and slowly deteriorate with repeated use (though I’ve used the same hair for approx 1 year). However I have been successful with exchanging unused/tagged hair to Indique even if it’s months after my original purchase. Also be sure to examine the hair very closely in the store before buying it to ensure it fits your needs and standards (that’s why it takes me an hour to pick out hair). Comb through the hair in the store and check for shedding. The reps will help you to review and test and comb through and wet the bundles and give advice on which seem the best (it’s raw human hair so each bundle/donor is different. Some tangle more than others just like real hair).Also they always have good sales. They have a product of the month sale, and a sale for every holiday, and discounts during your birthday month. I never buy hair at full price. I always get 20% off and buy and stock up during sales.If you are looking for quality hair that comes in multiple textures and blends with your natural hair and looks and feels natural then this is the place. Just keep in mind that you will not be able to return hair after using unless it is very obviously defected (some shedding is natural). If you are hoping to find a place that will allow you to use the hair and try it out for a while then exchange it for new hair after repeated use then this is not the place for you. Please also come back and share with us when you do find a unicorn hair place that allows exchanges of used hair.

A client of mine recommended I come to Indique to purchase raw virgin bulk braiding hair. Tope explained the different types of hair and the origin of the bulk hair. She allowed me to view and sample the different curl patterns of the raw pure Indian hair. I can’t wait to create a wig with the hair.

I went to Indique to get human hair for tree braid/invisible braid style that I like to do. In this style my individual hair is braided while the extension hair is left out. I purchased three bundles (2 20 inch, 1, 22 inch) of the bulk hair in wavy. I noticed that the texture of the 22 in. bundle were slightly different from the 20 in. bundles, but I decided to proceed anyway. Now I wish I hadnt.The hair tangled and matted after just two days. And yes, one side is wavier than the other, indicating I indeed got two different types of hair. When I went back to the store to see what I could do about it, the store keeper just shrugged and said there was nothing that could be done because bulk hair cant be returned or exchanged. What a waste of time (6 hours to get it done) and hundreds of dollars. I cant keep this mess in my hair. Ill have to take it out.I normally dont leave reviews, but this experience has been ridiculous. As for the bulk wavy hair, buy at your own risk if you are doing braids. If it doesnt work, youve lost your money. Despite the chic looking store and the high end price, I would expect at least MUCH better customer service and advice on the hair if they know there is a chance the hair is defective.Im never using Indique again.

This was the worst hair I have ever purchased. The Indique company are cons. This hair tangled every 20 mins and shed constantly. I removed the hair in two weeks, because I could no longer deal with it. I purchased Indique hair about 5yrs ago and I loved it. The hair was perfect then..no complaints. However, they are selling poor quality hair now. I wasted money on hair I couldnt use. Ladies, you should try Kendras boutique, because that hair doesnt shed or tangle. And its inexpensive. Buyer Beware!!!

One would think that a beauty supply shop would have a warming and friendly customer service... not at this location! It’s almost like they are unhappy you walked in the door. With minimal knowledge of their product as well as policy, if you’ve bought a defective hair... you’re simply out of luck.

WORST HAIR EVER!!! I made a $1,300 purchase and not only is the hair not relaxed straight but the lace is very poor quality and the hair sheds everywhere. It is the worst hair and no where near worth $130 let alone $1,300. I am not at all happy and just wasted a lot of money of this horrible hair!!

When I walked in the staff was nice but the Manager was rude and no customer service at all. This business will not grow if there customer service is not great.

2/23/18Visited Indique this month to purchase a bundle of hair for an install. Spoke in detail with Kyerra regarding the style and look I wanted to acheive (Photo example provided) with the Hair. Kyerra recommended bounce blowout and stated I would need only 1 bundle of hair. Also indicating I was purchasing the last bundle of hair in stock/at length. Also informing me of the return policy (e.g., shedding, tangling, etc., Indique would provide /replace with free bundle)After returning the next day with my stylist, as an another bundle was needed, we were assisted by the Manager. After sharing my experience with Kyerra the Manager questioned Kyerras recommendation of hair, indicating another hair type should have been recommended for achieving the look I was seeking.Post install, following all hair washing/maintenance recommendation/instruction, the hair began to shed heavily and tangle in the back. After contacting the store informing the Manager of the issue and revisiting the store, for the purpose of exchanging/receiving free bundle (in accordance with store policy as stated by the Manager and Kyerra), I was told by the Manager that she would not replace the hair as she did not feel it met the requirements to do so! In addition to indicating various post purchase return policy caveats not include in writing nor voiced during initial buy!First- to evaluate shedding she combed through the visibly tangled hair over a dark floor surface (i.e. difficult to see dark brown hair/shedding on floor). Once I pointed this out we moved to the counter where she continued combing through the hair, where shedding continued. The manager stated it was not enough shedding, though I pointed out majority of the comb through had already taken place over the dark floor surface. She went on to inform me I was using the wrong comb and she felt if I used a different comb/brush the shedding would not occur. Though i informed her shedding occurs with different types of hair instrument I have used including the ones she described, she still ignored the issue. When asked about the visible tangling of the hair, she glossed over it as well indicating, she felt, it too would not occur with a different combing instrument.In conclusion my experience with Indique is a Very good example of Poor customer service, today. It takes but a moment to provide good customer service. If you want customers to Invest in.your company, invest in Customers via a good experience/customer service; particularly when customers express dissatisfaction with your product and you fail to honor/standardize criteria for your own return/exchange policy.It stands to reason if the Manager can feel, when to execute/honor/subjectively implement, store policy...as a customer I can feel when Ive had poor customer service/buying experience!Please note only 1 star was given as there is no option for zero stars!

They lost me! I will not go there to purchase again. For one, the hair shed. For two, the store is not organized. IF you are RUDE and classless you would be waited on BEFORE those waiting 30 mins and get an online discount of which they say they dont honor, but if you are classy and wait patiently with anticipation for the same you would sarcastically get thank you! upon leaving w/disappointment. That too was tasteless as I do not NEED your business to keep making my money. You need mine and anyone else that come to you. Oh how you can tell they have someone running their store who does not care about the owners business. This experience totally turned me off. How in the He!! are you going to give one and dont give the other and you both have the same discount IN THEIR FACE! - AND WAS there 30 mins before the ratchet being walked in. At least compensate for letting you help and consult Ms Ratchet that took an additional 10 mins .. This totally shook me. I refuse to give my money to somebody that think I need to give them my money when there are SEVERAL places that offer the same thing. With that being said, I made my purchase at Her Imports the very next day. Great Hair!
