Went to the store today to buy hair for passion twists. The lady tried to overcharge me. She said I had 8 packs of hair and I only had 7. She continued to proclaim that I had 8 packs of hair. I literally counted each pack one by one until she realized I was correct. If I weren’t vigilant and observant then I would have just swiped my card and overpaid ! They also don’t take returns so I would have just been in a bad situation. Also, I called before I went and asked if they had water wave hair and the lady quickly said no. I figured she was lying so I took the time to go there and check for myself. Sure enough, they had it!! She didn’t even take the time to check or validate if they had the hair. I will not be back to this establishment. I would love to support a local business but their actions are ridiculous so with that being said, I cannot support.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The store is well organized and clean.

Nice and quaint! Good selection of product and brands(Mizani, Cantu, Creme of Nature, Motions, etc) but not over crowded. Plenty of hair extensions too. Quick go-to for sure.

Not enough variety of hair extensions and wigs, but major products are available like edge control, hair creams etc. The sales person seems friendly too.Also, please try to observe hours of operation. I had to stand outside in the cold for 15 minutes, because no one was available to open the store and he/she left a sign that read “will be back in 5 minutes”. But it was longer than that. Thank you.

Love this Beauty supply. Its literally like the place is made for me. High Quality stuff for minority hair and everything related. Great place. Keep coming with the great products. I was in there for a good 30mins deciding on all the things to grab.

I really want to support this store but it continues to fail in one particular category and that is hair supply. I have now lost count of the times I have entered this store to find the SINGLE row they have for 1B braiding hair is empty. 1B is the most popular color of braiding hair yet they continue to act like orange and purple are the most popular by having 2 and 3 rows of that. In an effort to support I have bought highlight colors one week and returned a week later only for the 1B row to still be empty after the employee stated they would be getting more in stock. Please pay attention to supply and demand.

Limited selection of products, but decent prices in general, and she is nice and helpful if you need assistance. Its close to my salon so very convenient for what she has. I send my clients here for hair and supplies often

Store was closed when they were supposed to be open. Why say you open at 9am if you all won’t be there?!

I love that this is a local family owned business. They have what I need and have ordered items needed. Convenient and courteous. It helps that the owners are also hair stylists.

My go to place in Silver Spring.

Fairly disappointed that they didnt carry straight razors. Called to check over the phone but the lady had no idea what I was talking about so I had to stop in the store and ended up wasting my time. I feel like straight razors should be a standard item at any beauty supply.

I hate to give such a bad response to a local business, but this is 100% deserved. I bought hair from this store for $300 dollars and it was beyond awful! after a few weeks it would tangle really badly and shed a lot. Ive had cheaper hair from ali express that was better than this. It was a huge waste of money! I dont know about their other products but DONT buy the hair here.

I love this Beauty Supply Store. The prices on hair is very reasonable.

I asked for a specific brand of braiding hair. They said they had it. After purchasing it my hair dresser said that wasn’t the right hair. Then they wouldn’t let me return it. They have a very small selection so I had to exchange the hair for stuff I didn’t need!
