We thoroughly enjoyed strolling through the beautiful gardens on Mothers Day! What a lovely gift from my family. I cant wait to go back and check out the butterflies! I really enjoyed the Fragrance Garden and the Conservatory most!

Beautiful gardens for walking around.

I photographed a wedding here and had very little interaction with the staff. The people that hang out there are very friendly and pleasant. It like a big community.

Extremely well laid out park with beautifully landscaped gardens and indoor areas including a tropical and butterfly garden, there is also a pond where I’ve seen a heron often and what resembles a Japanese garden as well. The Garden is free to visit including parking with only the Butterfly garden requiring one to purchase tickets to visit. Kudos to Montgomery County and for all the workers and volunteers that make this place a great place to visit and enjoy nature for the whole family. Please note unfortunately this park is not pet friendly.

Very fun and relaxing outdoor adventure. Literally costs nothing but gas to enjoy. Has a nice layout for walking paths and scenery. On the backside it has some greenhouses that are really fun to venture through. My kid (2 years old) absolutely loves this place.

Wonderful selection of gifts and gardening items.

We went for a fall young childrens activity which included arts and crafts and a tour of the grounds with activity stations. The staff and volunteers were well prepared, enthusiastic and generous with their time. Our 5 year old twins, who happened to have the day off from kindergarten, loved it. I am sure there would be more participation if held on a weekend.

Great selection of gardening books. Members of friends of Brookside gardens get discount. Love stopping to see plantings along parking area and walkways and read ID tags. So many ideas of natives to plant in my garden.

Brookside Gardens is a stunning park! The grounds are really well kept and everyone is so nice. I shot an engagement session in the middle of June for Living Radiant Photography and absolutely loved how vibrant all of the flowers were.

My family has enjoyed the Garden of Lights for years. We didnt feel this was their best year. Many of the lights were burned out, and we missed several of the more elaborate features they ordinarily have. I hope this wont be a trend.

Its a lovely place located on Glenallen Avenue in Wheaton. It would make a great place for a wedding or similar event. There is a large auditorium as well. The exterior is lovely. Plenty of parking is available.

This is a lovely gift shop with lots of botanically-themed items for sale. The real treasure is the garden itself with well-maintained walking trails and interesting themed gardens.

Really fun and magical! Cant believe we had not gone before this year.
